Update... this medical practice has experienced a significant data leak... my three-year-old personal information has been compromised. When attempting to address the issue by contacting the clinic, the receptionist's sole response was "you are no longer a registered patient" before abruptly ending the call. Avoid this medical facility at all costs.

Worst medical practice ever disappointing patients

Absolutely atrocious service and conduct - During my entire five-year association with this practice, I required their assistance just once, and the physician completely failed me, squandering my time and effort. They deliberately misled me to dodge their professional responsibilities, directly contradicting their own established protocols. The most ironic aspect was that this involved documentation and verification for the local law enforcement, who were genuinely stunned when I disclosed the details.

I got a notification to contact the medical practice, so I immediately dialed the number, only to be met with a recorded message stating 'the surgery is currently closed.' It's 2pm on a Wednesday, and their website clearly shows they're open until 6pm. Why are they sending out messages prompting patients to call when the office is shut? This could potentially cause unnecessary anxiety for some patients. I'm thoroughly disappointed.

I'm thoroughly frustrated with the patient care at this medical facility. In my professional capacity, I need documentation of specific childhood immunizations. Over a month ago, I submitted a request to the surgery for these records. This morning, I received a call informing me that their head nurse claims retrieving my medical information would be too labor-intensive, and they refuse to assist me. While I recognize the challenges of understaffing, if every general practice adopts such an unhelpful and dismissive approach, they'll undoubtedly struggle to recruit any future staff members.

I'm aware that The Grove Surgery has faced some initial challenges even prior to the pandemic, but my recent interactions have been notably improved. Currently managing several health concerns, I've consistently received helpful telephone consultations addressing my medical needs. Both Dr Harrison and a compassionate paramedic have approached my situation with genuine care and understanding. Additionally, the reception staff have been remarkably friendly and professional, which is especially commendable given the likely stressful environment of managing potentially frustrated patients.

Communication has become nearly impossible, with phone lines seemingly unavailable and patients forced to send messages that may or may not be read by the receptionist. Obtaining an in-person consultation with a physician has become challenging, even after having a prior telephone consultation. The overall approach seems to prioritize administrative convenience over patient care, leaving me deeply concerned about the current state of this medical facility.

Frustrating pharmacy with incompetent and unhelpful staff

Absolutely abysmal customer service once more! Previously, they dismissed my concern about being without medication for 72 hours, and now I've encountered another frustrating issue with my prescription. Apparently, I require a blood test, which they failed to communicate beforehand. I diligently scheduled and attended the blood test at the surgery, only to discover I'm ineligible for my prescription! It's utterly ridiculous. I'd consider switching healthcare providers, but I've heard similar complaints elsewhere, leaving me feeling helpless and completely dependent on their inadequate support.

Worst medical experience ever at the grove surgery

I've been a patient at The Grove surgery for five years now, and it's been nothing short of a nightmare. Their customer service is abysmal, starting with the receptionist who seems impossible to reach. The wait times are consistently ridiculous - I recently visited their walk-in clinic with flu symptoms and ended up sitting there for two excruciating hours while feeling extremely ill. Initially told I'd only wait 45 minutes, the actual two-hour delay was completely unacceptable and actually worsened my condition. To make matters worse, when I developed severe chest pains two days later, they wanted me to endure another walk-in clinic wait. It's absolutely unbelievable how poorly they treat patients. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this surgery at all costs. Even with my young children, I've always experienced excessively long wait times, and it's clear they have zero concern for patient care or well-being. I'm definitively leaving and cannot recommend this place to anyone.
