Patient Experience Summary

Feedback across this file reveals a practice with significant inconsistencies in service quality. Communication and reception experience emerge as persistent concerns, with patients reporting dismissive attitudes, difficulty reaching the practice by phone, and challenges securing appointments. Prescription handling problems appear frequently, including delayed processing, incorrect routing to pharmacies, and incomplete dispensing. Many patients describe feeling unheard during consultations, with doctors allegedly disregarding patient input and concerns. Conversely, some reviews highlight positive experiences with compassionate care, professional expertise, and welcoming atmospheres, suggesting service quality varies considerably across different staff members and clinical encounters.

Appointment access and waiting experiences present mixed pictures, with some patients reporting easy scheduling and minimal delays whilst others describe month-long waits and constantly engaged phone lines. The practice environment receives praise for cleanliness and design in isolated reviews, though operational issues around organisation and responsiveness to patient needs dominate the feedback. Several long-standing patients express disappointment about perceived decline in service standards, citing changes in staffing as contributing factors.

Patients consistently emphasise the importance of respectful communication and responsiveness to their concerns. Where staff demonstrate genuine engagement and listen carefully to patient needs, satisfaction is notably higher. Conversely, experiences involving curt responses, contradictory information, and perceived indifference to patient welfare generate the strongest negative reactions. The feedback suggests that improving consistency in reception courtesy, appointment accessibility, and clinical responsiveness would significantly enhance overall patient experience.

Covid chaos at the eye clinic

I stopped by the eye doctor's office and was utterly dismayed by their COVID-19 safety protocols. The waiting area was a complete mess, with patients packed tightly together, showing zero regard for social distancing. Hand sanitizer stations were conspicuously absent, and mask compliance was abysmal. The hygiene standards were even worse than those enforced at local grocery stores. Healthcare professionals should know better. This level of carelessness is completely unacceptable.

Heartless doctor ignored grandma's medical needs

Doctor Ali demonstrates a complete lack of empathy and shows no concern for patient well-being. He appears solely focused on financial gain, callously refusing to prescribe necessary medication to my elderly grandmother simply due to its cost. Furthermore, his treatment of my sister's eczema was equally unprofessional, arbitrarily denying her treatment because she wasn't diagnosed at birth. His approach is unacceptable and shockingly insensitive. I strongly advise against seeking medical care from this physician, as his disregard for patient health is absolutely unacceptable.

Terrible new doctor ruined my long-term care

The newly assigned physician replacing Dr. Shahid is utterly terrible. Curt responses, devoid of empathy, seemingly disinterested in being present. I was a patient of Dr. Shahid for 32 years, and he was an exceptional doctor. The practice has made a grave mistake with this replacement. I'm switching medical practices immediately.

Waited 20 mins for unresponsive physio

Visited the physiotherapy clinic with my elderly mother this afternoon. We were directed upstairs by the receptionist and waited over 20 minutes outside the physio room. After knocking on multiple doors with no response, we went downstairs. The older receptionist with glasses was unhelpful, claiming it wasn't her responsibility to locate the physiotherapist. She made no effort to check the corridor or contact consultation rooms. The Asian receptionist seemed slightly more concerned and suggested she would help. Clearly, communication within the practice is severely lacking. The physiotherapist failed to inform reception of our arrival, and didn't check upstairs where his rooms were located. When he finally appeared, he apologized repeatedly during the consultation. Moving Well, who arranged the appointment, were equally unreliable, not returning calls as promised. The clinic's parking is extremely limited and awkwardly positioned far from the entrance on a busy road. The consultation room was also unpleasantly odorous. We will definitely not be returning to this practice due to the poor overall experience.

Caring doctor helps my elderly mum

I'm crafting my review based on my interactions with Dr Yerra's surgical team and office personnel. There's absolutely nothing to criticize about this medical practice, as the staff are consistently supportive and attentive. The nurse, in particular, demonstrates exceptional dedication, showing remarkable sensitivity to patient requirements. Dr Yerra has consistently displayed remarkable compassion towards my elderly mother, who is his patient, and continues to provide outstanding care. I've noticed that several negative reviews appear to be referencing a different practice located within the same medical center, and I believe these criticisms are not representative of Dr Yerra's practice.

Frustrated by staff parking chaos

We've lived in this neighborhood for more than four decades. Recently, we're dealing with parking issues from medical center staff and patients. While patients come and go after their appointments without much trouble, the staff members create significant disruption. They double park and occupy spaces for entire workdays, making it incredibly challenging for local residents. Some of us need to run errands, and we have young children or elderly family members who require convenient parking. We're now forced to park multiple streets away from our own homes.

Dangerous doctor botched my partner's care

One star is actually too generous! My loved one suffered terrible mistreatment from a completely unqualified physician. Upon further investigation, it became clear they fabricated false information and deliberately misled us! This medical facility absolutely requires immediate closure, and this doctor should absolutely lose their medical license permanently!

Worst doctor visit ever with new physician

The clinic has lost its essence since Dr. Shahid's departure. The recently hired physician appears oblivious to the core principles of the practice. His demeanor was frigid and detached, giving the impression he couldn't wait to see me leave. I'm baffled by how he managed to secure this position. His bedside manner suggests a complete lack of empathy. One can't help but wonder if it's possible to find a more suitable replacement.

Dismissive doctor ignores chronic pain issues

I've observed that this medical practice tends to be either overly accommodating or completely disinterested. The physician seems primarily focused on pushing my partner back to employment, despite his severe Osteoarthritis affecting his hands and feet, which significantly impairs his ability to grasp objects. He's currently prescribed extremely potent painkillers that cause substantial drowsiness, raising serious concerns about workplace safety and potential driving risks. When I attempt to discuss issues that are impacting my professional life, the doctor dismisses my concerns with a casual "don't worry about it" attitude, effectively minimizing my experiences and either ignoring them or simply recommending physiotherapy as a catch-all solution. I firmly believe this medical practice urgently requires a comprehensive overhaul, as there appears to be an alarming level of complacency among the staff, who seem more interested in maintaining a relaxed approach than providing quality healthcare.

Rude staff after my painful car accident

After suffering a serious car accident, I contacted the surgery to obtain a repeat prescription for back painkillers as recommended by the hospital. The receptionist at Dr. S Z Shaids Surgery informed me to purchase the medication myself, as no staff member was available to process the prescription. When I inquired about the lack of availability, I was rudely told to go elsewhere if I was dissatisfied. The receptionist also suggested I should have called earlier, seemingly oblivious to the fact that I was discharged from the hospital at 2:30 in the morning after being extracted from a mangled vehicle and was exhausted. When I expressed my concern, the receptionist callously responded that it was not their problem. Having been a patient at this surgery since birth, I find the reception staff's dismissive and unprofessional attitude completely unacceptable and deeply disappointing.

Doctor dismissed my serious health concerns

The physician displayed a complete lack of empathy and dismissed my concerns, repeatedly telling me "I don't have to listen to you" while disregarding my medical issue and plea for assistance. Her arrogant attitude provoked me to raise my voice, and she continues to behave as if her medical degree automatically makes her opinion superior. She is an absolutely TERRIBLE healthcare provider who shows zero respect for patient input.
