Patient Experience Summary

Appointment access remains the most significant challenge reported across feedback, with patients describing extensive phone queues, unavailable slots despite early morning calls, and difficulties using online booking systems. Waiting times for callbacks frequently exceed hours, and patients report being redirected to walk-in centres or emergency services when appointments cannot be secured. Reception experience emerges as a secondary concern, with feedback indicating staff discourtesy, poor communication, and instances of calls being disconnected during interactions.

When consultations are obtained, clinical care receives mixed assessments. Some patients report positive experiences with attentive doctors demonstrating compassion and clinical expertise, while others describe dismissive consultations and lack of engagement with their concerns. Prescription management and medication refills present ongoing friction points, with patients experiencing delays and communication breakdowns between reception, pharmacy, and clinical staff.

Facility conditions and organisational systems require attention, including non-functional check-in equipment, cramped reception areas, and booking platforms that malfunction or create barriers for patients. A small number of reviews acknowledge professional communication and supportive staff, though these positive experiences are substantially outweighed by reports of systemic access difficulties and inconsistent service quality across the practice.

Dismissive Care Left Me Feeling Ignored

I'm convinced that EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER lacks compassion, proper patient care, and professional courtesy. Scheduling an appointment is incredibly challenging, and even if you manage to secure one, you're likely to be dismissed or have your medical concerns completely overlooked without a thorough evaluation. While I recognize the NHS is attempting to manage its resources economically, isn't the fundamental principle that PREVENTION TRUMPS TREATMENT? The current approach essentially suggests that patients should only seek assistance when they're in critical, life-threatening circumstances.

Impossible to See a Doctor Here

Getting a doctor's appointment here is an absolute nightmare. The clinic expects everyone to be up at the crack of dawn, but even early risers miss out. They insist you call at 8am sharp, only to be met with an endless waiting line and then told all slots are already taken. I've been attempting to secure a consultation for weeks, constantly being met with rejection after rejection. To make matters worse, during my last visit, the nurse conducting a health screening was incredibly unprofessional. Her constant sighing made me feel unwelcome, and the examination room was unbearably filled with a strong body odor. At this point, it's clear I need to find a different medical practice. Completely useless healthcare service. Steer clear.

Endless Wait and Phone Frustration at Surgery

Absolute chaos at this so-called medical facility. Every single time I've tried to book an appointment, I'm stuck beyond number 30 in the phone queue. They insist you can only schedule by calling in the morning. What a laughable operation. The waiting room had just 4 patients, yet the system is completely dysfunctional. This place is nothing short of a complete joke.

Terrible Wait Times and Dismissive Staff

A complete disaster from start to finish - incompetent medical staff, terrible front desk, and disorganized management. The entire experience feels more like a run-down second-hand store than a professional healthcare facility. It's shocking how these individuals can receive public funding when their service quality is so abysmal. The doctors routinely keep patients waiting for nearly an hour beyond their scheduled time without any consideration, yet they'll immediately cancel your appointment if you're slightly late. They force patients to schedule unnecessary appointments just for medication refills and are virtually impossible to contact. Their unprofessional approach is infuriating. My strongest advice: stay far away from this medical practice!

Doctor Rushed Me in Two-Minute Call

I've been a patient at this medical practice for over two decades, and I'm utterly disappointed with the treatment I'm receiving. This morning, I had a phone consultation about my missing diabetic medication from the pharmacy's pre-pack, but the doctor completely shut down my attempts to discuss the issue. She didn't allow me to explain or ask about why the medication was omitted or how we could prevent this from happening again. The call lasted less than two minutes before she abruptly ended it, leaving me feeling frustrated and unheard. What happened to genuine patient care? It costs absolutely nothing to show basic respect and kindness to patients, who are essentially the lifeblood of any medical practice. Without us, these healthcare professionals wouldn't even have a job.

Grandma's Urgent Appointment Nightmare

I tried scheduling an appointment for my elderly grandmother this morning, and while they initially booked the slot, the doctor unexpectedly called in sick. My grandmother urgently requires medical attention and her necessary medication. The staff promised to contact us by 3pm, but when I followed up, they pushed the callback to 4pm. After waiting on hold for another half hour around 5pm, I explained our urgent situation as the pharmacy was about to close. The receptionist rudely hung up on me mid-conversation. Now I'm eighth in the phone queue! Their service is absolutely appalling - I cannot comprehend how this healthcare provider remains operational. The reception staff's unprofessional behavior is completely unacceptable, and their medical standards are deplorable. I am thoroughly disgusted by their conduct and will definitely be filing a formal complaint with the General Medical Council. The NHS should be ashamed of allowing such a substandard medical facility to continue operating.

Booking System Finally Improved, But Facilities Need Help

Their appointment booking process desperately needs an overhaul! Getting an appointment is incredibly frustrating, and I'm not just talking about the phone wait times! Update: after a long period, they've finally updated their booking system! Now when you call, you can press 1 to keep your place in line, and staff will ring you back later, so you don't have to sit on hold forever! I'm adding 1 star to my rating. The facility itself requires serious renovation, everything looks completely outdated and unappealing! The restrooms... only use them in absolute emergency, with zero supplies - no soap, no toilet paper, no hand sanitizer, absolutely nothing.

Terrible facility for those seeking wellness or hoping to survive their surgical procedure. You're essentially gambling with your life by choosing to register here. Long-Time Patient Suddenly Dropped Without Notice

I've been a patient at this medical practice for over two decades. Recently, the quality has deteriorated significantly and the facility appears neglected. Although I've relocated, I continued my prescription management with them until I could secure a suitable local doctor. However, I've just discovered through my pharmacy that the surgery has unilaterally removed me from their patient list without any prior communication. This is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional treatment! And no, I have zero intention of completing your feedback survey.

Negligent Care Nearly Killed My Elderly Mother

This medical practice is absolutely appalling and desperately needs to be shut down. I'm convinced my elderly mother wouldn't have survived if I hadn't transferred her care elsewhere. Their shocking negligence and refusal to even meet with her face-to-face resulted in her developing pneumonia and serious heart complications. Despite my repeated warnings about her minimal food intake and persistent inability to keep anything down, they remained completely indifferent. Consequently, my mother became dangerously frail and weak, ultimately requiring a blood transfusion and two iron infusions during her 9-day hospital stay. Thankfully, my parents have now found a new surgery that actually demonstrates genuine care and patient respect. This current practice is an absolute embarrassment, run by incompetent individuals. I've reluctantly given one star only because a zero-star rating wasn't available. ****The surgery has now perfectly demonstrated their complete lack of care and total incompetence by taking 6 MONTHS to respond to my review!****

Impossible to Get an Appointment Anywhere

Update: still struggling to secure a consultation... undoubtedly the most subpar general practice in the region. Their continued operation is a mystery, particularly regarding their funding allocation. I've been attempting to schedule an appointment for weeks, only to endure endless hold times and ultimately be informed that no slots are available. The recommendation is to either visit the emergency department, seek out a walk-in clinic, or contact NHS services... I'm utterly speechless at how this medical practice is permitted to continue functioning in such a manner.

Awful Care Left My Wife Without Help

I'm utterly frustrated with this medical practice. When attempting to schedule an appointment for my wife, I was dismissively told no slots were available and was simply advised to visit the walk-in centre - their go-to response. The situation escalated when my wife experienced severe chest pains and breathing difficulties, forcing us to call paramedics. Even the paramedics recommended we contact our doctor and explain the circumstances to help secure an appointment. Despite following their advice and explaining everything, the practice still insisted we use the walk-in centre. Their service is so appalling that I'm seriously considering changing my wife's doctor. If I could give a negative rating, I absolutely would - their lack of care and support is unacceptable.

Missed Vaccination Appointment Nightmare

Absolutely terrible medical practice! I failed to make my child's vaccination appointment, and now I'm told I must wait 3 weeks for a new slot. By the time we get seen, he'll have already missed the initial injection deadline and be due for the next round. These people are completely incompetent! Booking an appointment here is incredibly difficult, and most consultations are either over the phone or require you to send a photo for assessment. If I could switch healthcare providers, I would in a heartbeat! One star is far too generous - I'd give zero if possible. The reception staff are equally useless, and frankly, this entire clinic should be shut down immediately!
