Incompetent staff destroyed my health and wallet
Predictably discourteous reception personnel who seem to show interest only in elderly patients. Their telephone etiquette is abysmal, and they mishandled three of my medical samples, causing me to suffer prolonged illness for multiple weeks. When I eventually received a prescription, it was incomplete, forcing me to pay double prescription charges through no error of my own. Completely representative of a standard NHS general practice. Demonstrably lacking in compassion.

Visited the medical center to have a leg bump examined by the practice nurse. Check-in was seamless, and the appointment started precisely as scheduled. Received a consultation with the doctor who provided a clear diagnosis. Shortly after, a text message informed me about a prescription available for collection at any pharmacy. During the same visit, they also identified a tendon problem in my hand. Having not been to a medical facility in over a decade, I seized the chance to address this additional concern. Absolutely deserving of five stars. I can't imagine how the service could be improved.

The staff member consistently interrupted me, demonstrating zero capacity to comprehend my message, and displayed a marked absence of professional communication skills and basic telephone manners. I strongly urge the team to cultivate greater professional sensitivity, emotional understanding, and attentive listening. It's crucial to recognize that illness can affect anyone, and while staff may experience high call volumes and workplace pressures, such circumstances never justify an abrupt or dismissive approach to customer interaction.

Unprofessional receptionist ruins medical practice experience
I was anticipating a pre-arranged phone consultation today. Surprisingly, I received a text claiming the practice 'attempted to contact me but couldn't connect'. However, no call ever came through! When I responded and called back using the number they supposedly had, I requested to speak with the person who supposedly tried reaching me. Unbelievably, this was deemed impossible! A hostile receptionist declared another call would be scheduled five weeks later! I firmly explained I had not received any previous call and again asked to speak with the First Contact Practitioner. This unprofessional staff member then started shouting and aggressively insisting I had been called, which was completely untrue. Unfortunately, this interaction perfectly embodied the negative stereotypes about medical office receptionists. Their customer service was absolutely abysmal. They desperately need comprehensive training in basic professional skills like communication, empathy, and courtesy. The entire experience was infuriating and unacceptable. I'm rating this one star only because the system doesn't allow zero stars.

I submitted a request for my medical documents back on January 27th and was initially informed I could retrieve them within 5-7 days. Now we're already in March, and despite sending five separate follow-up emails, I'm continuously told they're overwhelmed. These records are critical for my upcoming position working with vulnerable children. If this were any other business, they would have collapsed financially by now. It's completely understandable why their reputation is so consistently poor across customer reviews.

Despite their website stating they're open until 6:30 PM, when I rang at 6:05 PM, an automated system informed me they were already shut. Kudos for their exceptional professionalism and compassionate care—I'll reserve my full thoughts for the email I've sent to the practice, assuming they'll even bother to read it. Incredible experience from start to finish! When I called to register as a new patient, I was immediately connected with a wonderful receptionist named Laura. During our conversation, I shared my frustration about my previous medical practice, where I had spent 47 minutes waiting at opening time only to be told all appointments were gone and advised to call 111. In stark contrast, the Harbour practice invited me to come in person to register my son and even offered an appointment for the same day. Upon arrival, the reception staff were absolutely delightful and welcoming. I am thoroughly impressed with their exceptional service.

Top-notch medical professionals. Previously, before the pandemic, I had left a critical review, but these doctors have been an absolute lifesaver during covid and continue to be so. We consistently managed to secure telephone consultations with the physician, which were promptly followed by same-day in-person appointments. I've heard from numerous individuals struggling to book medical consultations. As a parent with children and an infant, I've found this accessibility incredibly comforting. Dr Chopra has been phenomenally supportive. Recently, when my baby experienced a medical crisis and was initially dismissed by the Emergency Department, he spent three hours advocating to ensure she received proper attention. He personally ensured she underwent necessary tests and immediately arranged a pediatric consultation. I cannot express enough gratitude for his dedication.
