Frustrating medical care with endless waiting times

Extremely subpar medical practice. Scheduling an appointment requires a frustrating three-week delay. Dr. Adoki is perpetually absent, working at the hospital, and I've never even had the chance to meet him. I strongly advise against choosing this healthcare facility.

Karen saves the day at terrible medical practice

Absolute worst medical practice I've encountered. The sole bright spot is nurse Karen Yates, who is truly exceptional - compassionate, skilled, and possessing a delightful sense of humor that actually makes you feel genuinely cared for. I've experienced repeated issues during my visits. Multiple times, I've attempted to book appointments for my infant, only to be told no slots are available, with zero follow-up calls. Recently, I urgently sought help for my 14-year-old struggling with depression. Despite calling early morning and being assured a doctor would contact me, and even having a physician promise to arrange an appointment, we received absolutely nothing. After witnessing their complete incompetence, I wouldn't trust them with her care anyway. During half-term, I made precisely 220 unanswered calls, exactly at their 8:30am opening. When finally connected, predictably, all appointments were gone. Their excuse? "It's half term, we're busy." Frankly, a genuinely caring medical practice would accommodate a depressed teenager, an infant, or an unwell mother, regardless of circumstances. Their reception staff are consistently discourteous and should be replaced entirely. The waiting times are unbearable, and their communication is abysmal - learning about potential illnesses years later is unacceptable. Every consultation seems to result in a dismissive "anxiety" diagnosis, making me feel completely disregarded. I'm definitively changing healthcare providers.

Spent a full 60 minutes in the waiting room only to have a doctor who was barely comprehensible dismiss my concerns, claiming my throat was fine despite the visible white patches. What a complete farce of a medical consultation!

This medical practice in Eastbourne is absolutely dreadful. Their scheduling is consistently delayed by no less than 40 minutes, which is incredibly challenging for parents with young kids. The sole redeeming quality is their provision of patient parking, which merits a single star.

Frustrating experience with unhelpful medical reception

After struggling for 20 minutes to secure an appointment yesterday morning, I was informed all slots were filled, which left me frustrated, especially since I wasn't feeling well. The receptionist's dismissive comment about children being off school implied I might not see a doctor for weeks. When suggesting I go elsewhere, her attitude hardly demonstrated good customer service. Eventually, she said she would consult the doctor and call me back, but instead, I had to initiate contact, which involved another lengthy wait. Finally, the doctor called me, requested I come in, and provided a prescription - confirming I was indeed unwell. I contemplated filing a complaint with the practice manager but doubted it would yield any results. While most receptionists are pleasant and the doctor is excellent, the administrative handling was poor. Based on this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this medical practice to anyone.

I brought my daughter in for an urgent visit, and they assigned her to a medical assistant instead of a proper doctor. I expect a fully licensed general practitioner for my child's care. This is completely unacceptable!

Worst medical practice ever with terrible service

I'm only giving this 1 star because zero isn't an option! In just a year, I've accumulated a shocking list of terrible encounters with this practice! Never saw the same doctor twice! Never even met my assigned GP! The receptionist was incredibly unprofessional - she actually laughed on the phone when I expressed concern about being called back for repeat tests without receiving previous results! I'm someone who only visits the doctor when absolutely necessary, yet here I felt so uncomfortable that I dreaded going (and was genuinely scared)! When I desperately needed an appointment, I'd call from 8:30am only to be told by 8:35am that no slots were available! It's also suspicious that one of the 5-star reviews appears to be from a staff member (how convenient)! I was suggested to file a written complaint, but after reading another patient's review, it seems utterly futile!

Modern practice with compassionate and friendly staff

I stopped by this medical facility on September 18, 2017, and was immediately impressed by their contemporary approach. The front desk personnel were exceptionally courteous and welcoming. My ultrasound technician was outstanding - compassionate, approachable, and highly competent. I would definitely return in the future. To those considering a negative review, I urge you to reflect on the challenges they face: limited resources, understaffed, constantly overwhelmed, yet still managing to provide care for numerous patients.

Yet again, I found myself forced to contact 111 because my surgical team failed to ensure my medication was properly transferred, despite previous assurances that the GP would handle the prescription. This level of service is completely unacceptable.

Terrible service and complete customer disrespect

This establishment is utterly repulsive. A multitude of problems plague their service. I submitted a formal written complaint, only to be dismissed by the so-called "manager" with a dismissive attitude. My partner and our 5-month-old infant arrived for a scheduled appointment (with appointment card in hand) and were informed that no booking existed in their system. As a result, our infant was left without the intended service. Every staff member at the reception desk exhibited an appalling demeanor, completely devoid of customer care. Their behavior was nothing short of rude, ignorant, and chaotic. I wouldn't even suggest this place to my most despised acquaintance. They deserve to be shut down immediately...

This medical practice is excellent. While securing a same-day consultation can occasionally be challenging, I'm aware that instant availability is uncommon among healthcare providers nowadays. Unprofessional staff destroy patient care experience

The administrative staff here are incredibly unprofessional. They engage in gossip about patients within earshot of others, and display a callous attitude towards those who are vulnerable, openly mocking and ridiculing individuals experiencing medical distress. If you're dealing with a serious illness, mental health challenges, or any noticeable physical condition, you'll want to steer clear of this practice. Their staff screening process seems deeply flawed since relocating, and the quality has drastically declined compared to their previous team. The current employees are shockingly indifferent, frequently failing to even relay basic message callbacks. These are precisely the last people you'd want handling sensitive medical information.

I've got no issues to raise, the front desk staff appear quite formal, but they'll reciprocate a smile if you offer one. My sole frustration is the lack of continuity with physicians - previously, in my prior location, I had a single doctor for nearly three decades who was intimately familiar not just with my medical history, but with my entire family's background. Occasionally, I've experienced wait times extending to 45 minutes, though such delays aren't frequent.
