Dangerous practice with shocking patient neglect

STEER CLEAR STEER CLEAR STEER CLEAR!!!!!!!! If I could assign zero stars, I would. The quality of service at this practice is not just unacceptable, but downright hazardous, negligent, and demonstrates a complete absence of concern or compassion from those entrusted with protecting patients' well-being. The so-called medical professionals at this facility display shocking ineptitude, absolute lack of empathy, and total disregard for their professional obligations under GMC standards and NHS guidelines. Rather than prioritizing patient welfare, they appear to selectively treat individuals with dignity, showing clear bias and preferential treatment towards Asian/Indian patients while leaving others marginalized. This constitutes blatant discrimination, which is entirely unacceptable in an NHS environment. The operational infrastructure is completely ineffective. Appointment scheduling is abysmal and futile. Patients are compelled to complete forms that never get processed, phone calls are redirected to pharmacists with minimal expertise in addressing raised concerns, and telephone consultations are managed by staff demonstrably lacking adequate medical understanding. This fundamentally violates NHS guidance on safe clinical practice. The front desk personnel are equally unprofessional - discourteous, unhelpful, dismissive, and incapable of managing even the most straightforward patient requests. Their conduct directly contradicts NHS England's "Patient Rights and Pledges," which guarantee patients respect, dignity, and timely care access. This entire practice represents a significant public health threat. If not already causing harm, it is merely a matter of time before a patient suffers serious consequences due to their incompetence. I will be escalating this matter to the General Medical Council and Care Quality Commission for urgent investigation, as well as to NHS England for breaching statutory patient rights under the NHS Constitution. Candidly, this surgery should be permanently closed before additional patients are endangered. I sincerely hope their misconduct is thoroughly exposed.

Creepy practice that won't stop calling

This has to be the most unsettling medical practice I've ever encountered. I desperately wish there was a mechanism to report and shut down such a terrible establishment. I initially requested removal from their patient list over a year ago via telephone, which they verbally confirmed, yet instead of respecting my wishes, they've persistently bombarded me with intrusive calls and messages demanding I schedule invasive procedures. I subsequently sent a follow-up email approximately six months later requesting deregistration, which they acknowledged in writing, but incredibly, I continue receiving relentless phone calls and private text messages from doctors pressuring me to book appointments. These weren't isolated incidents - at one point, they contacted me three times in a single day, leaving multiple voicemails, and this occurred two months after my email request. Given that I now reside overseas - a fact I've explicitly communicated to halt their harassment - I'm forced to use a temporary phone number solely for banking communications. Consequently, I cannot even block their persistent contacts, and they frequently switch phone numbers to circumvent any potential screening, creating an absolutely nightmarish situation. It genuinely feels like dealing with an obsessive stalker who refuses to accept rejection. My strongest advice: ABSOLUTELY AVOID REGISTERING WITH THEM!! They will persistently and relentlessly pursue you!

Yet again, I had the delightful experience of interacting with Lai this morning. I typically feel anxious about contacting the surgery since most of the front desk staff appear indifferent, with Lai being the sole exception. As before, he followed through precisely on his commitment by pursuing the inquiry I had raised a week prior, which had previously gone unanswered. He demonstrated remarkable patience, genuine compassion, and delivered exactly what he promised by ensuring a clinician contacted me this morning. I implore you to have Lai become the instructor for all the other questionable receptionists in your employ, teaching them to emulate his extraordinary professional standards. He should be considered the absolute minimum benchmark for customer service. Lai deserves an immediate promotion to management! Once more, I extend my sincere gratitude to Lai for his exceptional assistance.

Terrible gp practice with no compassion

I am incredibly relieved to have finally left this GP practice. My new GP was absolutely stunned by the treatments and systematic mistreatment I endured over the years under their so-called "care". I will never forget how appallingly I was treated! And the blatant ableism of this practice! Living with a spine injury that prevents me from cutting my own nails, I was humiliated when asked to provide a toenail sample, with the doctor mockingly suggesting my expectations were unreasonable and no nurse would help me. In stark contrast, my new practice proactively offered assistance without me even requesting it - exactly how healthcare should operate. Moreover, they neglected my injured toe for nearly two years, whereas my current GP is desperately trying to save it. Mental healthcare? Completely nonexistent in this practice. They also consistently parked their vehicles in a manner that made wheelchair access impossible. On one occasion, I could barely navigate around their cars to enter the building using my walking stick. My asthma treatment was described by my new GP as laughably outdated, straight out of the 1980s :D You would be far better served by choosing a different GP.

Worst gp practice with terrible communication

If zero-star ratings were possible, this GP practice would absolutely get one. Without a doubt, this is the most incompetent and useless medical practice I've ever encountered! After a blood test, my hand became severely bruised and swollen within two days. Despite using the NHS app, they consistently fail to communicate test results, instead falsely marking appointments as "missed calls" when they never actually ring me. During one appointment booking attempt, a receptionist rudely stated, "Who said you could book an appointment? You must wait for a doctor to contact you, and they'll determine if you're even worthy of being seen." Their attitude was incredibly dismissive and unprofessional. I've finally switched to a different GP, and the relief is immense. The entire staff and medical team here are shockingly inept. My strong advice: steer clear of registering with this practice at all costs.

Reception guy's attitude ruined my visit

The reception staff member displayed an incredibly unprofessional demeanor. He clearly lacks the necessary skills for customer interaction. His responses were dripping with sarcasm and showed absolutely no compassion, especially when their own system was responsible for the issue. His attitude suggested he was perpetually spoiling for a confrontation with every person who approached him. In contrast, the previous staff member wearing a brown jacket was significantly more pleasant. However, the current replacement acts as if he has complete authority over the healthcare facility. The patients visiting the clinic are dealing with health concerns and potential discomfort, and a small gesture of empathy would not diminish his humanity but could potentially provide emotional relief to those already struggling.

I experienced a severe infection encompassing a substantial portion of my body, accompanied by intense discomfort, hemorrhaging, and significant disruption to my everyday functioning. Despite seeking emergency medical treatment and obtaining a specialist referral, the GP: Neglected a pre-arranged phone consultation Committed to arranging a biopsy but subsequently provided zero follow-up for an extended period Disregarded multiple pressing communications and appeals Declined to issue a medical certificate despite my inability to perform work duties I have been left in continuous agony, without appropriate medical attention, and completely abandoned in terms of communication. This prolonged negligence has not only compromised my physical health but also severely impacted my professional capabilities and overall quality of life.

Despite having five medications prescribed for a two-month period, one medication (taken twice daily) was inexplicably approved only for one month. I repeatedly attempted to explain the mathematical miscalculation, but the receptionist remained obstinate and uncooperative. Even after highlighting that a similar issue was successfully resolved last month, she continued to disregard my concerns. Only after meticulously breaking down the arithmetic did she reluctantly acknowledge the error and submit a request for the missing medication. The interaction was emotionally overwhelming. Her dismissive demeanor and confrontational body language significantly escalated my anxiety, severely hampering my ability to articulate the problem. Such unprofessional interactions are not just frustrating but potentially detrimental to patient psychological well-being. Furthermore, the team demonstrates a shocking absence of basic customer service etiquette. Upon entry, patients are immediately interrogated about appointment status, devoid of any preliminary greeting or human acknowledgment. Elementary courtesy appears completely absent. Sick note nightmare with endless delays

If I could rate this clinic group with a negative star rating, I absolutely would. Never have I encountered a more chaotic and unaccommodating medical practice. What should have been a simple request for a university sick note turned into an absolute nightmare. I felt completely besieged by their incompetence, receiving conflicting information, random calls about redoing paperwork without explanation, and even being abruptly hung up on when I sought clarity about why the initial process failed. While I acknowledge that mistakes happen and staff are human, I believe I'm entitled to understand why I'm being repeatedly delayed. After they terminated our previous call and I reconnected (with a different staff member), I'll admit my patience was wearing thin, but I remained as composed as possible while demanding an explanation. Their response was utterly bewildering: everything was supposedly fine, but I'd need to resubmit the form and endure a 28 *working* day wait for the sick note. Seriously? How could such a straightforward document possibly require such an extended timeframe? To add insult to injury, I was informed I'd need to personally fund this note, as it wasn't NHS-covered??? Needless to say, I'll be seeking my sick note elsewhere. Frankly, this entire exhausting process has probably contributed more to my ill health than anything else.
