She showed a remarkable disinterest in understanding the purpose of my call, constantly cutting me off mid-sentence as I attempted to explain my medical situation. Her impatience and apparent disregard for my health concerns were truly disheartening. The appointment scheduling felt rushed and perfunctory, and she terminated our conversation abruptly without providing any meaningful communication about my condition. I firmly believe this level of service falls significantly below the expected standards for healthcare professionals. My sincere hope is that by sharing this feedback, the clinic can work towards enhancing the overall patient experience. The receptionist's conduct was entirely unacceptable and suggests an urgent need for comprehensive retraining focused on interpersonal skills and patient respect. Switching medical practices was one of the most significant decisions I've made in my life, after being with my previous surgery for around 20 years. My current healthcare provider is exponentially superior to Hazeldene. (I won't specify the name.) Interestingly, recent online reviews seem to contradict my personal experience, as well as my wife's, who is equally delighted after following me to this new practice. My advice is simple: if something doesn't feel right, even after many years, changing medical practices is no more complicated than switching pharmacies. Don't feel guilty about it; remember, you're essentially just another patient, not a special case - merely a data point in their system. ***** My Addition below is from 9th Nov 23 ***** As I previously mentioned, you're "just data on a screen really". And I emphasized that I was a patient at this practice for two decades, with multiple healthcare needs. The Practice Manager's response suggests she claims no knowledge of me. Yet she's been there for a considerable time and had previously corresponded with me in writing regarding an unaddressed complaint. Draw your own conclusions...

Terrible service left me without medical care

The most unprofessional medical practice I've encountered essentially abandoned me after the council placed me in temporary housing. Simply because I was no longer in their immediate geographical zone, they unceremoniously removed me from their patient list, leaving me without any medical care. Hazeldene Medical Centre's treatment of someone classified as homeless is disgraceful, and I fully intend to switch to a different practice once I secure a more stable living situation.
