Terrible receptionists but doctors are actually good
The initial experience was far from ideal. I called to discuss my symptoms and was directed to complete an electronic form. After doing so, I was advised to contact 111, who recommended I secure an immediate appointment. When I called Ty nant back, I encountered a receptionist with a notably unfriendly demeanor. Her repeated "hello" greeting was delivered in such an off-putting way that her lack of professionalism was palpable. It's remarkable how you can actually sense someone's attitude through their tone. The reception staff here are absolutely terrible. When I phoned to inquire about my hip and knee X-ray results, the receptionist casually declared they were fine - as if she were a hidden medical expert. Subsequently, I received a hospital referral and discovered I need to see a physiotherapist to address and improve my physical condition through targeted exercises. Despite the challenging front-desk interactions, the doctors themselves are excellent once you navigate past the hostile receptionists.

Frustrating customer service that leads nowhere fast
Attempting to contact customer support is a frustrating ordeal. Phone lines are perpetually unresponsive, and their online system operates on an absurdly limited schedule from 8am to 11am, with the added unpredictability of potentially closing even earlier. When you try calling, they redirect you online, and when you go online, you're met with a system that prevents you from making any inquiry. The entire experience is thoroughly inadequate and deeply unsatisfactory.

Frustrating healthcare experience with unhelpful staff
Absolutely appalling service. I've been attempting to schedule an appointment for five consecutive days, struggling with sleep apnea and forced to stay awake all night, only to be informed that all slots are filled. When I expressed willingness to wait three to four weeks just to secure an appointment, the receptionist claimed she couldn't help me at all. Her attitude was completely unacceptable. The lack of professionalism and customer care is shocking. How am I supposed to manage my medical condition with such unhelpful staff? I'm certain she can arrange appointments for others, but not for me. I'm determined to escalate this issue and will be contacting the health board to address this unacceptable treatment. This is not how a medical practice should operate.

Utterly disgraceful service that leaves me fuming. Attempting to contact them by phone is futile, and their online booking system shuts down at 9am, rendering it useless. In desperation, I physically went to the medical center after exhausting phone and online options to secure an appointment for my husband. The receptionist was unhelpful, insisting I phone or complete a form, even though I was standing right in front of her. She eventually and begrudgingly filled out the form. The only saving grace is that we rarely need medical attention; otherwise, I would have abandoned this practice long ago after seven years of residing in the area.

I have absolutely no complaints about my interaction with Ty Nant, HPI. They provided support when I was completely overwhelmed and felt utterly hopeless. They went to extraordinary lengths to schedule an immediate appointment, and I am immensely appreciative beyond words. I cannot imagine how I would have managed without their assistance. Their online support portal is nearly impossible to access and even when you manage to submit a query, it's frequently met with silence. Communicating with the medical practice is extremely challenging for someone with severe hearing loss. Their online booking system fills up rapidly, and the digital forms are inaccessible. I initially attempted to sidestep seeing my general practitioner due to what I perceived as a minor health issue. Despite trying to get treatment at a pharmacy, they ultimately directed me to my GP, suggesting the condition was more significant than I thought. While most people tend to be irritable, I must commend the staff for maintaining remarkable patience with patients. They have digital check-in screens, though these were unfortunately non-functional during my visit. Fortunately, going through the pharmacy enabled me to secure an appointment for the following day. The clinic didn't seem particularly crowded - just an average patient load - yet I found myself waiting approximately 45 minutes past my scheduled time. When I finally saw the doctor, they were both compassionate and efficient, providing me with a prescription within half an hour. Considering the current challenging circumstances, including ongoing industrial actions, I'm genuinely appreciative that this medical facility remained operational and committed to serving the local community.

Nightmare surgery with toxic staff and attitude
I've never encountered such a horrific medical practice. The surgery was absolutely dreadful with incredibly discourteous staff. I personally witnessed their appalling behavior, both through phone interactions and direct observation, where they treated people, including elderly patients, with complete disrespect. The reception team desperately needs to understand their role and receive proper professional training. The entire environment is toxic, filled with unprofessional individuals who create a dangerous atmosphere. On a positive note, I'm no longer associated with this surgery - it's unquestionably the worst healthcare facility I've experienced in my entire life. Good riddance to such a substandard service with an utterly abysmal attitude. Attempting to file a complaint is futile, as everything gets conveniently ignored. It's clear these negative behaviors originate from leadership, otherwise why would such widespread criticism exist? The numerous negative reviews speak volumes about this disgraceful establishment.

Spent an eternity on hold, and when I finally got through, the staff were incredibly discourteous! I sought guidance about my eczema, but instead of offering meaningful assistance, they repeatedly prescribed the same ineffective cream that hasn't improved my condition at all!!
