Feedback reveals a significant divide in patient experience at this practice. Medical professionals, particularly certain physicians and pharmacy staff, receive consistent praise for exceptional clinical expertise, compassionate care, and attentiveness to patient needs. However, this strength is substantially undermined by widespread concerns about reception experience and appointment access. Patients report persistent difficulties contacting the practice, with phone lines frequently busy and callbacks not materialised. Reception staff conduct is a recurring complaint, with multiple accounts of discourtesy, dismissiveness, and unprofessional behaviour that patients describe as creating stress during vulnerable moments seeking healthcare.
Appointment availability and waiting experience present additional challenges. Patients report extended delays, with some waiting significantly beyond scheduled times, and describe a booking system that relies on triage gatekeeping before appointments are confirmed. Communication responsiveness is inconsistent, with some patients experiencing prompt callbacks whilst others report abandoned callback promises and delayed test result follow-up. The practice environment has also been noted as requiring attention, with concerns raised about cleanliness and equipment functionality.
Whilst a minority of recent reviews highlight improved reception courtesy and convenient appointment scheduling, the predominant pattern across feedback indicates that reception experience, appointment access, and organisational responsiveness require urgent attention to align with the quality of clinical care being delivered.

Exceptional care from healy medical center team
During my eight-year journey as a patient at Healy Medical Center, I cannot express enough praise for their exceptional service. My deep respect goes out to all NHS workers who tackle incredibly demanding and emotionally taxing roles. The support I've received from this medical team has been outstanding. The reception staff, including Caroline, Indie, Saba, and their colleagues, consistently demonstrate remarkable professionalism and warmth. While all the doctors are commendable, I feel particularly fortunate to have Dr Fhamy as my primary physician. He has been an incredible source of support through challenging periods. Despite the immense pressures facing general practitioners, Dr Fhamy remains consistently professional, compassionate, understanding, and supremely competent in his medical practice. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at Healy Medical Center for their remarkable dedication and care.

Worst medical experience ever avoid this clinic
Abysmal service. Still garbage! Switched medical providers, yet the physicians and personnel are an absolute mockery. It's astonishing they're even allowed to operate. Undoubtedly the most incompetent practice in the entire Hackney Borough. They catastrophically misdiagnosed my friend's lung cancer as mere pneumonia. Shaking my head in disbelief.

Terrible gp practice with unhelpful clinicians
Carol at reception was exceptional. She consistently greeted patients warmly as "sweets" and demonstrated genuine kindness, patience, and a commitment to helping secure appointments. The original medical team (2007-2015) led by Dr. C Duggal was outstanding. However, I've now definitively decided to terminate my relationship with this practice. 1. Navigating their system requires getting past gatekeeping receptionists 2. Your medical case must first pass a triage evaluation to be deemed appointment-worthy 3. You'll receive a callback from a "clinician" who represents the epitome of cold, dismissive unprofessionalism. This individual will systematically undermine your concerns, lecture condescendingly, make false promises, and ultimately waste your time. For weeks, I persistently sought help when my two toddters were experiencing severe coughing and respiratory distress. Initially, I was casually informed it was viral and even suggested to take them to the park. My repeated follow-ups resulted in inconsistent treatment: one child received antibiotics after four doctor consultations, while the other was repeatedly told to wait and be re-triaged - a process consuming an additional five days. Desperate, I shared antibiotics between my children. Within two days, I urgently hospitalized them, where doctors confirmed whooping cough and criticized the initially prescribed inappropriate medication. Parents and elderly patients: urgently seek alternative medical care. I underwent an overnight ECG monitoring in October 2024 and am still pursuing results in January 2025, with the practice merely promising to contact the hospital after my persistent inquiries. Their approach effectively treats patients like insignificant, powerless supplicants. ----------------------------- Previous Review 7 years ago Satisfactory service. Acceptable wait times

Poor!
Terrible service and unhelpful medical staff
Securing an in-person consultation at this medical practice is extremely challenging due to their high patient volume. The reception team lacks basic courtesy and interpersonal skills, coming across as cold and unhelpful. Their demeanor is distinctly unwelcoming and falls far short of professional standards.

Dangerous medical record gaps endanger patient health
Medical records repeatedly overlooked critical health information, despite urgent communications from Emergency department and Haematology specialists. Crucial details about anaphylaxis and a blood condition were systematically omitted, leading to dismissive assumptions about potential health exaggeration. These omissions resulted in professionals misinterpreting serious, life-threatening symptoms spanning from infancy through adulthood, effectively minimizing genuine medical concerns by perceiving them as hypochondriac tendencies.

Fantastic medical care with compassionate professional team
A meticulously arranged medical practice with a welcoming and competent team. The physicians demonstrate genuine attentiveness, carefully listening to patients and offering precise guidance without feeling hurried. The front desk staff are courteous and supportive, ensuring seamless scheduling and visits. The clinic operates with impressive efficiency, and I've consistently found it convenient to secure timely appointments. In summary, a compassionate and dependable general practice that I would enthusiastically endorse to others!

Worst medical practice ever avoid at all costs
Absolutely dreadful healthcare experience. I've been a patient here for an extended period, and their approach is appalling. Physicians conduct rushed, brief telephone consultations that lack any genuine concern. Appointments consistently run about 6 hours behind schedule, and despite ongoing health complications, I've never received proper face-to-face attention. I was ultimately forced to seek emergency department care just to see a doctor. The medical facilities are dilapidated and neglected. I strongly recommend finding an alternative healthcare provider in the vicinity.

Terrible asthma review with broken equipment and attitude
Over the past 2-3 years, I've been struggling with late-onset asthma, hay fever, and COPD, requiring hospitalization 5 or 6 times. Today, I had my first asthma review with the practice nurse, and it was a complete disaster. She arrived 25 minutes late, couldn't access her computer to view my medical records, and continuously talked over me. The medical equipment was in shambles: the blood oxygen machine was non-functional, and two blood pressure machines were broken. One machine in the reception area (where other patients could see) gave wildly different readings - one very high and another quite low - within just 5 minutes. I essentially wasted 45 minutes just to blow into a tube. When I asked about rescheduling, she suggested returning in the morning but couldn't guarantee any equipment would be working. Frustrated, I ended up booking a blood pressure check at my local pharmacy instead. The service was absolutely terrible, and I wouldn't even trust them to accurately take my temperature.

Terrible medical practice with unprofessional staff
Absolutely terrible medical service! When attempting to schedule a doctor's appointment, they automatically redirect you to a nurse, and if you're unaware, you might mistakenly believe you've consulted a physician! I had two children suffering from ear infections, one an infant under 12 months and the other a 3-year-old. The appointment they allocated after 'triage' was a full 8 days after I initially requested a doctor and antibiotics for my sons. I received thyroid test results, and the doctor casually stated, 'I'm uncertain about these results, but at least it doesn't indicate cancer' I attempted to book appointments for my children during their flu, chickenpox, and other illnesses to obtain school documentation. They directed me to a confusing online form system that insisted children must be absent from school for an entire week to qualify for a medical note!!!! Additionally, the receptionist became argumentative when I simply inquired about adjusting my appointment time. She kept shouting and circling around the issue, repeatedly asking if the current appointment time was unsuitable. Honestly, my 3-year-old demonstrates more intelligence. So basically, avoid this place unless you want to

Dismissive doctor left me feeling hopeless and unheard
This morning, Dr. Janet Aschkar hung up on me after I requested to consult another physician, as I felt I wasn't receiving adequate care from her. I detailed my persistent lower abdominal pain and long-standing discomfort in my feet, thighs, arm, and shoulder, to which her only suggestion was to rub these body parts. I simply wanted a comprehensive medical assessment, given that I've been enduring these pains for years. Additionally, I'm managing my mental health through walking, dietary changes, and other strategies. Women like myself are struggling immensely without proper support. I felt completely unheard and abandoned, especially when she abruptly terminated our call. If we can't rely on doctors, where can we turn? We're being treated poorly and facing discrimination from professionals who are supposed to care for us. I approached the consultation hoping for answers but ended up feeling ten times worse. I sincerely hope no one else experiences such treatment. I'm devastated, sitting in bed and crying, contemplating whether I should go to the emergency room or seek alternative help to improve my condition. It should never be this difficult to receive basic medical care and compassion.

Unprofessional medical staff refused to share my results
I recently underwent a blood test and requested a copy of my medical report and test results. To my dismay, they refused to provide me with the documents. This rejection alone has completely soured my opinion of their practice and, frankly, the entire medical profession in this country. I'm convinced they're operating with malicious intent, and I want no further involvement with these healthcare providers.

Terrible service that left me frustrated and suffering
Absolutely appalling service! Steer clear of this place at all costs and seek out a facility that genuinely values patients! During a critical situation, they promised to contact us about scheduling within 48 hours, yet we received absolutely no communication - no call, no text, no information whatsoever. This neglectful approach is unacceptable and marks the third time they've failed us, even after we've persistently followed up. The staff are dismissive and impatient, eager to end calls quickly, offering ineffective and practically non-existent appointment scheduling - and that's assuming you can even secure a slot! Depending on them means enduring unnecessary suffering and pain.

Unprofessional medical practice with zero patient care
I am escalating this to the Care Quality Commission and General Medical Council due to the staff's unprofessional conduct. The receptionists are shockingly discourteous and carelessly expose patients' confidential medical details to everyone in the waiting area. I was suffering from severe pain and symptoms following a missed mentrual cycle. I specifically requested an ultrasound and hormone-related blood tests, but they only ordered a basic full blood count. No pregnancy tests, no fundamental physical assessments like blood pressure or abdominal checks were performed. Absolutely nothing - as a result, I've been forced to seek private medical care because of their complete incompetence!! I previously admired the Dugga! family, but this practice has dramatically deteriorated since their retirement!!! I am absolutely enraged! I will now transfer my medical registration to another practice and am grateful I have the financial resources to pursue private healthcare.

Unprofessional staff ruined my healthcare experience
I arrived just 5 minutes past my scheduled time, and the front desk staff informed me that the nurse had already left for her break. It's absurd that they would take a lunch break mere moments after my appointment was supposed to start.

Friendly staff but doctors need serious improvement
The front desk staff have significantly enhanced their approach - the young women are now exceptionally welcoming, which is a crucial positive change. Unfortunately, the medical professionals don't match this improvement. Annual health screenings for elderly patients have disappeared, and several doctors display remarkable incompetence. Both my mother and I have experienced multiple misdiagnoses. While many have criticized Dr. Fahmi, I find him to be the sole physician who genuinely listens and effectively addresses my medical concerns. The triage system remains deeply frustrating - there are instances where serious medical issues require waiting an entire day just for a doctor's callback. In such scenarios, visiting the Accident & Emergency department seems a more reliable method for obtaining an accurate diagnosis.

Declining quality of care at local medical practice
In the past, this medical practice was a compassionate, family-operated clinic under the Duggal's leadership. However, the quality has drastically deteriorated in recent times. The current physicians appear disinterested and rushed, focusing solely on quick consultations and medication prescriptions. The personal touch and genuine care have vanished. I nostalgically recall the previous excellent service, and it's truly disappointing. Regrettably, I must now seek out a new medical practice, ensuring I thoroughly investigate alternatives beforehand.

Terrible gp service with no communication or help
I've repeatedly contacted this GP's office, and they've scheduled phone consultations twice, yet no one has reached out to me. Is this truly considered a professional service? This was my initial interaction with them, and the experience has been incredibly disappointing.
