Exceptional medical care that truly goes above and beyond

Having resided in multiple locations nationwide, I've been a patient at approximately 4 different medical practices. Since 2012, I've been with this particular surgery, and they truly stand out as the most professional I've encountered. While I'm not typically inclined to write reviews, I felt compelled to do so because both last month and today, they remarkably accommodated a last-minute request and promptly followed up to ensure my well-being. The administrative staff have consistently been exceptional in their treatment of my family. The physicians are attentive listeners and have always been proactive, whether it's managing referrals, providing test result discussions, or addressing other medical concerns. My sincere appreciation goes to Heathfielde for their outstanding care.

Fantastic doctor makes pediatric visit stress-free

I was thoroughly satisfied with my visit to the medical facility last Friday. When I reached out in the early hours to schedule an appointment for my child, they responded quickly and invited us to come in that very morning. The most incompetent and utterly indolent administrative team I've encountered throughout my entire life. This medical practice is characterized by an absolute inability to secure a face-to-face consultation with your general practitioner for two years, and simultaneously impossible to schedule a telephone appointment within a two-hour window. My personal experience with this surgery has been nothing short of deeply infuriating and profoundly disappointing.

Useless medical advice leads to unnecessary hospital trip

What purpose does a general practitioner serve? Our toddler was suffering from diarrhoea, and their recommendation was to rush to the emergency department. We then endured 4 hours in an incredibly congested waiting area, only to be informed that the child should never have been sent to A&E in the first place, and that she should have been examined by the GP. The exhausted emergency room physician was frustrated by the subpar guidance we received, which ultimately occupied hospital resources meant for patients with genuine medical emergencies. I'm also concerned about the potential risk of contracting COVID while sitting in that crowded waiting room. Appreciate the complete waste of our time and the total lack of meaningful assistance.

1 star due to complete unavailability. Despite having a shoulder injury and caring for a newborn and toddler, I contacted them at 8am only to be told no appointments were open. The reception staff and certain physicians demonstrated extremely subpar customer service.

Worst medical practice ever terrible customer service

A dreadful experience. Whether you interact via phone or in-person, you're confronted by hostile, uncooperative front desk staff who seemingly despise your presence. Schedule a phone consultation, and they'll inevitably fail to call as agreed. The healthcare providers demonstrate absolutely no sense of patient responsibility, consistently neglecting to follow up on critical medical referrals. Despite having a severe cardiac issue, I haven't received a single communication in twelve months. I feel completely abandoned and disrespected by this practice. The constant rotation of physicians means no doctor ever develops a comprehensive understanding of me as a patient. Apologies for the lengthy complaint, but their incompetence truly is that extreme!

Worst medical centre ever avoid at all costs

Awarded the minimum rating since there's no zero-star option. The service is incredibly sluggish, and the staff's attitude is far from welcoming. Obtaining a repeat prescription could potentially take an entire week. The doctors themselves seem competent, but actually connecting with them is a challenge - a phone consultation might require a two-week wait. When we first became patients here two decades ago, the centre was excellent - now it has deteriorated to an unacceptable level of care.

Heathfields gp surgery fails at basic patient care

I awarded a single star since zero stars isn't an option. Heathfields is a disgrace to medical practices everywhere. The doctors appear incredibly sluggish and unmotivated. They consistently use COVID-19 as a convenient excuse for their subpar performance and negligence. Securing an appointment is practically impossible, and getting to see a physician feels like an excruciating ordeal. The reception staff are equally incompetent, seemingly hired through nepotistic recommendations. The environment feels more like an insular clique that protects each other's poor conduct rather than prioritizing patient welfare. Their professional standards are abysmal, with Sue frequently raising her voice without genuinely listening. Staff members appear more interested in gossiping about patients than providing care, transforming the surgery into something resembling a toxic teenage social environment. It's heartbreaking witnessing such unprofessionalism in our current era. The staff are utterly unpleasant with correspondingly terrible attitudes. Thankfully, some male doctors maintain a semblance of professionalism. The place is populated by passive-aggressive individuals. They arbitrarily disconnect calls, preventing patients from completing sentences and rudely placing them on hold. The administrative team's untrained, bullying behavior is utterly reprehensible. I'm astonished this occurs in London.

This medical center is absolutely appalling, residents invest substantial sums in properties nearby only to be treated with complete disrespect. The staff are incredibly inconsiderate, discourteous, and thoroughly unhelpful. Securing an urgent medical consultation is nearly impossible, and their standard response is to redirect patients to the emergency department. Completely and utterly useless.
