Compassionate doctor makes medical visit less scary
The staff here are wonderful, and Dr. JJ Wells is exceptional with children, always bringing smiles to their faces. I needed a back examination due to a chest infection, and though I was initially nervous about being touched, the doctor was incredibly considerate. He moved carefully, constantly communicating with me throughout the process and completed the check-up quickly and efficiently.

Shocking customer service at hillview medical center
I am compelled to address the customer service standards at Hillview. The quality of service is decidedly subpar and overwhelmingly unpleasant, particularly regarding the Receptionist's interaction. This morning, my wife was treated with a dismissive and indifferent attitude when she sought assistance for a dressing change after her spinal surgery. Not only was the staff member exceptionally discourteous, but she also abruptly ended the phone call while my wife was in the midst of expressing gratitude for scheduling the appointment. This individual either requires immediate termination or comprehensive retraining in patient communication. She clearly demonstrates a fundamentally unprofessional and hostile demeanor. Robert Haynes

Frustrating scheduling mistake ruins my important appointment
I typically don't encounter issues with this establishment, but there are some areas that could use improvement. Case in point: I scheduled an appointment with a physician via phone, and they confirmed I was set for the following day around lunchtime. However, upon arrival, I was informed that no such appointment existed. While I'm not one to usually make a fuss, this was a critical consultation, and it turns out they completely failed to properly book it. As a result, I now have to wait nearly a week before I can see the doctor.

My child experienced a head injury at school, and given the hospital's anticipated 7-9 hour wait time, I opted to visit our local GP instead. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and managed to book us an appointment with minimal delay, and I was genuinely appreciative of the roughly 30-minute wait. Dr. L. Terrible service and impossible to reach healthcare staff
What used to be a stellar healthcare facility has now become completely inaccessible. Getting an appointment is nearly impossible, and even when you do, seeing your doctor or having a meaningful consultation is out of the question. The automated system and reception staff have taken over, creating a frustrating and disheartening experience. I urgently needed a COVID vaccination, but despite having a compromised immune system, I couldn't schedule a jab that aligned with my work schedule. I never imagined I would feel such profound dissatisfaction with Hillview. It's high time they review their current practices and take immediate corrective action!!!!!

After enduring three appointments and countless distressing phone calls about my inability to walk, I've reached my breaking point. For two months, I've suffered with inadequate pain management, only to discover I've been walking on a fractured hip. Throughout this ordeal, not a single healthcare professional physically examined my leg or showed concern about my pain levels. Even more frustrating, no one recommended an X-ray to diagnose my condition. I feel completely abandoned and betrayed by the medical care I received.

Unhelpful surgery fails during covid isolation nightmare
Tested positive for covid 19 and experiencing severe symptoms, I approached the medical practice for a sick note. Despite explaining my covid status, they adamantly refused to email the document, claiming it was impossible. Instead, I was instructed to personally visit the crowded surgery, potentially exposing vulnerable and already compromised patients to infection. This demonstrates a complete lack of thoughtful policy and management. Congratulations, Hillview, on devising the most irresponsible method for a symptomatic, covid-positive individual to obtain medical documentation. If only they could grasp the simple concept of email communication! 👏 👏
