Patient feedback reflects a mixed experience across the practice, with notable contrasts between clinical and administrative services. Medical staff, including physicians and nursing teams, consistently receive praise for their knowledge, attentiveness, and compassionate approach to patient care. Many patients report successful appointment access, with several noting same-day or next-day availability for urgent concerns. The on-site pharmacy and welcoming reception experience are frequently highlighted as convenient additions to the service.
However, reception and booking experiences present significant challenges for a substantial portion of patients. Common concerns include discourteous staff behaviour, difficult appointment availability at certain times, restrictive booking windows, and communication failures such as incorrect appointment confirmations and poor coordination with external services. Some patients describe lengthy waiting times and inadequate clinical assessment, while others report booking system failures and limited accessibility to preferred physicians.
Recent improvements in physician availability and reception staff performance are noted by some long-term patients, suggesting the practice has made efforts to address previous shortcomings. The facility's physical accessibility, including parking and single-level layout, is appreciated by patients with mobility challenges. Overall, the practice demonstrates strong clinical capability but requires sustained attention to reception courtesy, booking reliability, and appointment access consistency.

Compassionate care with doctors who truly listen
I've been a patient at this medical office for years, and I can't speak highly enough about their care. The physicians here are exceptional. Dr. Wells is great, but lately, I've been seeing Dr. Lee more frequently, and he's truly outstanding. He's incredibly knowledgeable and provides straightforward, honest advice. What sets him apart is how he makes you feel - like you're talking to a friend, not just a medical professional.

Frustrating medical experience with poor communication
I discovered a concerning swelling behind my ear, which required a scan, and was also advised to undergo a HealthCheck based on my age and ethnic background. I arranged time away from work and arrived punctually for my scheduled appointment, only to learn that I was not actually booked in and had been mistakenly registered under another patient's name. After this frustrating experience, I endured a two-month wait for my ear scan, prompting me to contact the medical center. They directed me to call the hospital directly. Upon speaking with hospital staff, I was informed they had no record of my scan request, but generously provided a fax number for resubmission. When I relayed this information back to the medical center, they surprisingly quoted a completely different fax number from the one the hospital had given me. As a result, I remain without a scan appointment, and the worrying lump behind my ear persists, leaving me increasingly anxious and unresolved!!!!!!!!

Exceptional medical care that truly saves lives
I've just discovered these comments, and I'm truly impressed. My spouse and I have been patients here for several years, and our experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Whenever we've faced urgent medical situations, we've been able to see the physicians promptly, often within hours, and for routine consultations, we're typically seen within 3-4 days. The medical staff are genuinely compassionate and attentive, clearly focused on patient care rather than simply staring at computer screens. Last year, when I experienced a potential serious medical issue, Dr. Taylor was outstanding. Within a fortnight, I had undergone comprehensive scans and blood tests, consulted with a specialist, and within three weeks, I had been treated in the hospital and my condition was successfully resolved.

Bad!
Terrible medical care at hillview medical centre
Hillview Medical Centre is a complete disappointment in terms of patient care. The concept of patient-centered treatment is entirely absent here. When I urgently called seeking an appointment due to a persistent high fever lasting two days, I was unable to secure a consultation for the next day. The only available slot was with a doctor I did not feel comfortable seeing. The physicians' approach is dismally unprofessional. They sit behind their desks with an intimidating demeanor that discourages patients from openly sharing their health concerns. Even when patients muster the courage to discuss their issues, the doctors provide minimal engagement, merely typing on their keyboards. Typically, I leave consultations with nothing more substantial than an ibuprofen prescription. This experience is frustratingly consistent at this medical practice. As a student of health and social care, I find their lack of compassion and genuine patient care absolutely unacceptable. The standard of service falls far below any reasonable expectation of medical professionalism.

Negligent doctor missed my diabetes for years
HAD TO SEEK REFERRAL TO DROITWICH PRIVATE HOSPITAL DOCTOR WELLS MISSED MY DIABETES DIAGNOSIS FOR 15 ENDLESS YEARS NOW I'M SUFFERING SEVERE DIABETIC NEUROPATHIC COMPLICATIONS WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE TO ANYONE, NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY PALMED OFF WITH PAIN MEDICATION. SWITCHED TO A FAR SUPERIOR NHS SURGERY, WHERE PHYSICIANS ACTUALLY SHOW COMPASSION. FALSELY ACCUSED OF DRUG SEEKING BY ONE DOCTOR, THE AUDACITY! SO RELIEVED I'VE MOVED ON. SHOULD HAVE PURSUED LEGAL ACTION FOR NEGLIGENCE, MAY STILL DO SO.
