I visited the clinic today with my daughter due to her complaints of ear pain and fever, and my appointment was with Dr. Khan. She examined my daughter's ear and neck and claimed everything was fine, diagnosing her with a viral infection. I expressed my concern that my daughter frequently develops a temperature and something seemed amiss, but the doctor assured me there was nothing to worry about. However, just a few hours later, I was compelled to take my daughter to the hospital. Following their investigation, she was found to have otitis and a severe sore throat. Consequently, this clinic appears to employ doctors lacking proper medical expertise, who seem completely clueless about diagnosing patient conditions. 👎

Deteriorating Healthcare Experience A medical facility with discourteous personnel, particularly towards minority patients - you must assert linguistic dominance to make them back off. The nursing and medical staff appear ineffective, while management remains conspicuously absent during critical incidents and consistently unresponsive to communication. The second star is solely awarded for same-day scheduling, though this hardly guarantees competent treatment of your medical concerns. It feels like a complete misuse of public funding. I brought my child for a routine immunization, and inexplicably, the appointment devolved into chaos, concluding without the vaccination being administered! 🤦‍♀️😖🥴

Terrible gp practice with unhelpful and rude staff

Worst GP practice - a complete drain on public funds. Deserves a thorough investigation and potential closure. It's not just discourteous receptionists, but EXTREMELY unprofessional and inadequately trained physicians!! How can a medical professional neglect to issue medication? Indeed, the doctor actually forgot to prescribe the necessary treatment! We attempted to collect the prescription from the pharmacy and were forced to wait an hour while the receptionist pursued the doctor to re-issue the script. (Meanwhile, another patient with a scheduled appointment discovered no record in their system, becoming understandably frustrated and vocal - a reaction I completely sympathize with) During multiple telephone consultations, another physician appeared completely uncertain how to manage my condition (a straightforward and easily treatable issue) and I found myself instructing her about appropriate prescription based on my previous GP's approach. She was prepared to prescribe an alternative treatment which I knew would be ineffective. In another telephone consultation, the doctor displayed a dismissive and confrontational attitude. Naturally, these experiences are exclusively from telephone interactions, as obtaining an in-person appointment seems impossible. If possible, avoid registering here at all costs. They are unnecessarily maintaining COVID-related restrictions despite the pandemic's conclusion. The practice categorically refuses face-to-face appointments and aggressively pushes patients towards digital booking methods, disregarding those lacking technological access or understanding. Booking future appointments is prohibited; same-day slots only are available, and calling at 8am often means no remaining consultations. Attempting to schedule ahead is futile. Truly abysmal service, with consistently discourteous staff. This isn't a medical practice - it's merely a telephone helpline for discussing health concerns.

Dear Hillview Surgery, I am deeply frustrated and distressed by the service I have received. I was compelled to contact the receptionist to highlight their oversight in not including critical examination results with an urgent referral document. It is completely unacceptable that a patient must remind medical staff about fundamental NHS referral protocols - the lack of professionalism from the GP and referrals team is shocking. While we are already experiencing significant appointment delays due to COVID-related backlogs, such critical errors can potentially extend waiting times and unnecessarily prolong patient suffering. I sincerely hope these unacceptable mistakes are not repeated for any future patients. I urge you to carefully consider this incident and take steps to enhance the quality of patient care. Although I am grateful for the online service that enabled me to quickly identify and rectify this serious administrative error, I am dismayed that the mistake had already caused a delay in my treatment. My experience with this medical practice has been an absolute horror show spanning two decades. Dr. Maan and Dr. Shergill are unprofessional, dismissive, and completely incompetent. They consistently ignore patient concerns and provide minimal, superficial care. A stark example is our neighbor, who repeatedly raised health issues and was callously told nothing was wrong. Tragically, she was later diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer, which these doctors had completely overlooked during her multiple consultations. I strongly advise anyone seeking medical care to avoid this practice entirely. These physicians are an embarrassment to healthcare standards and represent a dangerous threat to patient wellbeing.

After being registered with this medical practice for more than 8 years, I'm compelled to share my frustration. While the medical staff - doctors and nurses - are genuinely compassionate, the receptionists create an impenetrable wall of bureaucratic indifference. Getting an appointment has been an ongoing challenge for years, and during the pandemic, it became virtually impossible. There's a clear disconnect between patients seeking care and the wonderful healthcare professionals, with receptionists and management acting as an obstructive barrier. I cannot recommend this practice. Most recently, after moving just a single mile away, I was rudely informed that I must change GP immediately or risk being deregistered - all communicated in an unnecessarily aggressive manner. Rest assured, I will gladly transition to another practice once we've navigated our current health concerns, somehow managing despite these obstacles. :(

The sign-up process was somewhat time-consuming, but once you're registered, you can be confident in the quality of care you'll receive. The front desk staff could benefit from training in customer service, including the importance of active listening and avoiding interrupting patients. The medical professionals are exceptional and supportive. Their compassionate approach creates a comforting environment that is precisely what patients need during a healthcare visit. The waiting area is roomy, with a few parking spots available in front, and the clinic's location on Bilton Road is ideal. COVID-19 precautions were well-implemented, so there are no concerns in that regard. However, the waiting time could be improved, which would be greatly appreciated, though this seems to be standard practice. 4 stars

Terrible medical care with dismissive and unprofessional staff

Whenever I visit this medical facility, I feel completely disregarded. The staff consistently dismisses my concerns and appears unwilling to genuinely hear about my health issues. The communication is so poor that I was compelled to personally inform the doctor about my prior medical history, which they seemed completely unaware of. Moreover, when I do attempt to discuss my health, I'm often met with a condescending and sarcastic attitude.
