Genuinely convinced this medical practice is operated by sadists who display zero empathy, from the receptionists to the nursing staff - and the doctors are practically invisible. Booking an appointment requires a military-precision phone assault at precisely 8.00am for the following week's slot, with a brutal 10-minute window to successfully connect before being forced to retry the next day. When you finally secure an appointment, you'll endure a rushed 10-minute consultation after waiting beyond your scheduled time. Recurring medical issues mean you'll encounter a completely different healthcare professional each visit, ensuring no continuity of care or familiarity with your condition. Despite seemingly having around 12 consultation rooms, the waiting area remains bizarrely empty, even when serving multiple local communities. The surgery inexplicably operates as though overwhelmed, despite clear evidence to the contrary. Recently, I booked a 111 appointment for Monday at 11.15pm, confirmed by text, requiring an unpaid half-day from work. At 8.00am, I received a text seemingly changing the appointment time to 11.40am. Arriving as planned, I discovered not just a time change, but an entirely different appointment date. The receptionist informed me of this after my original work start time, preventing me from reclaiming my half-day. The short notice made securing additional time off impossible, effectively rendering my original scheduling efforts futile. Adding insult to injury, they subsequently sent a message criticizing my apparent non-attendance. The NHS's incompetence reinforces my belief that privatized healthcare competition would dramatically improve our medical services, free from governmental bureaucratic interference.

Getting an appointment here is impossible, and the entire experience is utterly pointless. I'd give zero stars if I could. The doctors seem completely clueless and unable to provide any meaningful assistance. The reception staff are unprofessional, disinterested, and clearly hate their jobs. THE ABSOLUTE WORST GENERAL PRACTICE. Abandoning this medical practice is the most intelligent choice you could make. The staff are incredibly discourteous and completely lacking in basic interpersonal skills. Their professional incompetence is staggering. I was verbally attacked during a phone call simply for requesting a medical record that hadn't even been properly maintained, and they had the audacity to attempt shifting blame onto me for their own professional negligence. I've experienced the absolute worst customer service from this medical practice imaginable. I called in the morning and endured a 45-minute wait, only to be told a doctor would contact me around 12:30, but the call didn't actually come through until 4:09 - a significant deviation from the promised time. When I called back, the receptionist claimed I should wait until tomorrow because the doctor had supposedly attempted to reach me multiple times. However, my phone log showed just a single missed call, which the receptionist adamantly insisted was incorrect. Even more frustrating, throughout all these interactions, not a single staff member bothered to inquire about my medical condition or symptoms. During my confrontation with the receptionist about my urgent need for blood tests - due to experiencing 3-5 minute blackout episodes - she casually suggested I either call back tomorrow or wait for a Monday evening callback. Her response was completely inadequate. I cannot emphasize enough how terrible this experience was. To anyone seeking medical care, I strongly advise avoiding Hollyns Health & Wellbeing. Based on today's interaction and nearly two years of previous negligence where they failed to diagnose a prior health issue, they seem to neglect as many patients as they assist.

Terrible medical care at hollyns health clayton

Hollyns health Clayton is undoubtedly the most terrible medical practice I have ever encountered. The front desk employees demonstrate a complete lack of compassion and appear woefully unprepared for their roles. I witnessed a distressing interaction where a patient with an ear tumor was attempting to secure a medical appointment, only to be coldly told by the receptionist, "If you're dissatisfied with our service, you can always go elsewhere." Fortunately, I will soon be leaving Clayton and can change my healthcare provider. The situation is particularly dire for diabetic patients like myself, as their standard of procedural care is essentially non-existent. I strongly advise anyone with alternative options to avoid this facility at all costs. What makes this situation even more infuriating is that the staff seem fully aware of their inadequacies but display a shocking indifference to improving their service.

I had a pre-scheduled consultation at the medical practice. Despite having an appointment, I was forced to wait 40 minutes before seeing a physician. The prolonged waiting time was unacceptable, and other patients were visibly annoyed and irritated by the delay. The service was absolutely appalling, and this clinic urgently needs to implement significant improvements. They can no longer use the pandemic as a justification for their poor performance. Recently, my symptoms started resurfacing, and the staff dismissed my concerns, insisting on additional tests. After completing the tests, which came back clear, I was promised a follow-up call to discuss potential further investigations. Three weeks have passed with no communication. The receptionists remain uncooperative and dismissive. When I attempted to schedule an appointment, I was instructed to call at 8 AM, but even then, the lines are perpetually busy until 9, by which time all appointment slots—including emergency ones—are completely filled. I'm seriously considering changing healthcare providers due to these persistent issues. On the rare occasion I do secure an appointment, the experience remains frustrating. During my last telephone consultation, despite the doctor's polite demeanor, I felt unheard and rushed. The constant reminder of the appointment's time limit made me feel like my concerns were secondary. While I understand they manage multiple patients, this approach of hurrying patients and not genuinely listening only erodes patient trust.

Writing on behalf of my aging parent (and Hollyns, I hope this feedback is helpful) Medical assessments and care plans appear to rely more on speculation than thorough diagnostic procedures. Errors and communication breakdowns are distressingly frequent. At 8am, I found myself 31st in the telephone queue! Securing an in-person consultation with a doctor has become extremely challenging. Consequently, less qualified healthcare personnel are making critical decisions without proper diagnostic capabilities, which ultimately extends patient distress and potentially endangers lives in critical situations. Significant medical complications are either overlooked or diagnosed with unacceptable delays.
