After being forced to visit this GP surgery at least 4 times, my problem still has not been resolved and unfortunately I still do not know what the issue is. No referral was made to a specialist even though they could not identify the cause of my symptoms. I felt like I was being used as a test subject with different medications and creams instead of receiving proper care. This is not the only issue. I also contacted them regarding treatment for my husband after discovering he has Helicobacter pylori, but nobody came back to us with proper treatment or support. Very disappointing experience overall and unfortunately I cannot recommend this GP surgery.

Phone booking staff didn't listen properly to request
I am writing to share my experience regarding a phone call I made this morning to book a blood test appointment for my son. I have always had very good experiences with our GP practice, particularly with the clinical staff and reception team at our local branch. They are consistently polite, patient, and helpful, which I truly appreciate. However, during today's call, the staff member I spoke with did not seem to listen properly and came across as rude. I was trying to book an appointment for my son, but without confirming details such as date of birth, they checked the system only under my name and then informed me that there was nothing in the system and that I should call the pharmacy. I then had to clarify that the appointment was for my son, not myself. Due to the tone of voice, I was confused and initially made an assumption about the staff member's gender. This was not intended as any form of disrespect. Once corrected, I immediately understood my mistake. Unfortunately, the response I received felt abrupt and unprofessional. I felt that the staff member may have been in a rush and made assumptions without fully listening. I wanted to share this feedback as it was disappointing compared to the usually excellent service I receive. Thank you for taking the time to read my concern.

Painless blood test and reassuring approach
I had an appointment for a blood test today and was genuinely impressed by the experience. When I arrived, I mentioned that over the past few years I'd been told my veins were "collapsing," and that taking blood might be difficult, something I've experienced in both private clinics and the NHS. The phlebotomist laughed kindly and asked who had told me that, because according to them, my veins were absolutely fine. They explained that while they might be a bit tricky once the needle is in, there's a particular spot that works well, and they even pointed it out to me. The blood test itself was completely painless and done in under a minute. Truly the best phlebotomist I've ever had. I'm now seriously considering switching to this practice as my permanent GP, especially since my current practice redirects me here for after-work appointments anyway. It's much less crowded, the customer service is excellent, and the clinical staff are attentive.
