Terrible service and unhelpful staff at medical practice

I deeply regret having to report that this medical practice deserves zero stars due to the extremely unprofessional behavior of their receptionist today. She was incredibly discourteous to a patient, refusing to listen or assist him, and bluntly told him, "I'm not your bloody doctor, I don't know what the doctor told you." Another receptionist was present at the time, who could speak Hindi and was conversing with another patient in that language, yet made no effort to help this distressed individual. The patient was visibly distraught and ultimately had to go to the pharmacy, which then had to contact the surgery to obtain his medication. The reception staff urgently need to improve their customer service, demonstrating more compassion, patience, and a genuine willingness to help patients.

Doctors save the day at disappointing healthcare center

I'm reluctantly awarding this Healthcare center two stars, solely due to Dr. Farzana Ali and Dr. Carlos. Without them, this rating would plummet to zero. A zero-star rating is warranted because of the dangerously incorrect advice from the midwife. She instructed me to discontinue iron supplements and folic acid after the first trimester, claiming my Vitamin D levels were adequate. My family and friends quickly noticed my exhausted physical state and urged me to continue supplements and verify my vitamin levels. Upon consulting another hospital in a different country, I discovered my Vitamin D and iron levels were critically 'deficient', requiring immediate medical intervention. The midwife at Horizon performed minimal examinations, provided no explanations, and erroneously documented me as a heavy smoker - which I absolutely am not - and bizarrely marked my husband as having severe respiratory disease. I cannot recommend this center to expectant mothers. However, I strongly advise seeking consultation with Dr. Ali or Dr. Carlos for any medical concerns, as they ensure prompt and compassionate treatment. Unfortunately, they currently work on a locum basis, making consistent access challenging. Nonetheless, they are undoubtedly the medical professionals to consult when you're unwell.

Terrible service destroys patient health and hope

Absolutely terrible medical facility. I underwent a blood test and have been waiting three months without being able to schedule a follow-up consultation about my health status. I'm constantly calling the clinic, and each time they push me to call back the following week, creating an endless cycle of delays. They can't spare even a minute to explain my condition, and I've lost half my body weight in the process. I'm desperate and frustrated. Others should be warned about this clinic's complete lack of care and responsiveness.

I cannot express enough appreciation for Horizon Healthcare. Their unwavering support has been exceptional. The general practitioners are consistently kind and attentive, always lending a compassionate ear and striving to help. Throughout my son's medical journey, Horizon has been like protective guardians, demonstrating extraordinary commitment to securing appropriate care promptly. One of their doctors even took the initiative to contact the Emergency Department, challenging their insufficient response after repeated efforts to have my child properly examined. Without Horizon's intervention, my son would not have received an accurate diagnosis or the critical support he required. I am deeply grateful for their dedication and exceptional care.

Worst medical practice ever frustrating phone experience

You're instructed to call at 8am, only to discover over 20 people are already waiting in line. When you finally connect, the receptionist Andy abruptly hangs up. I called precisely two seconds past 8 and was informed I'm 7th in the queue. Coincidentally, the call drops, claiming the server is unreachable. Calling back reveals another queue of more than 20 people. I now regret not following my previous doctor to his new practice.

It's truly disheartening to report the extremely poor quality of service at this medical facility. Repeatedly, I receive appointment notifications for my child, only to arrive and discover no record of the scheduled visit, forcing me to return home empty-handed. This frustrating scenario occurs with alarming frequency. The reception staff are equally unhelpful, consistently providing incorrect information when I call seeking clarification. A recent incident perfectly illustrates their incompetence: I called to confirm whether my daughter could receive an immunization despite having a cold, and was told yes. However, upon arrival the next day, I was turned away without the vaccine. Significant improvements are desperately needed in their communication and overall patient care approach.

Worst surgery in uk with terrible patient care

Arguably the most poorly managed medical practice in the United Kingdom! Even after relocating from Halsbury Street to Stoughton Drive North, their appointment scheduling remains an absolute disaster! Patients must endure endless waiting just to discover no appointments are available when they finally answer the phone! The systmonline platform no longer allows same-day booking, forcing patients into a phone-based triage system that is painfully inefficient. Unlike other surgeries that offer online appointment requests with a 48-hour response guarantee, this practice forces patients to repeatedly call or physically queue from 8am while feeling unwell - a completely unacceptable approach! Patients should never be required to line up first thing in the morning just to secure medical attention! Utterly inhumane patient treatment and service! Their management remains as chaotic as it was during their Halsbury Street days under the Evington Medical Centre name! I strongly recommend patients abandon this surgery and file direct complaints with the NHS regarding their reckless patient care and incompetent administration! Steer clear of this practice at all costs! They're run by individuals who treat patients as an inconvenience rather than a priority! The entire operation is a complete mockery of healthcare! Obtaining emergency appointments is virtually impossible! Patients should seek alternative care and report this practice to the Care Quality Commission to ensure they are held accountable for their continued poor performance. The residents of Evington, Leicester deserve significantly better medical care!

Frustrating and unhelpful medical appointment nightmare

Absolutely Terrible customer service 👎 I attempted to schedule an appointment early in the morning, only to be informed they were completely full for the day. Frustrated, I personally visited the surgery center, hoping to secure a slot for the following day. Once again, I was directed to call back in the morning. When I called again today, I received the identical response about being fully booked. This is utterly ridiculous - I'm left wondering if this is a legitimate medical facility or just some kind of absurd operation

Excellent medical care with friendly and professional staff

I visited this medical practice in January and March to receive my COVID vaccinations. Throughout my appointments, the staff demonstrated professionalism and politeness, treating me with genuine respect and courtesy. My father is also a patient here, and he consistently receives timely care, even when other facilities have been reluctant to provide services. The staff members are consistently friendly and compassionate in their interactions. The new facility is impressively clean, well-designed, and organized.

Friendly doctors and welcoming medical practice

I consider myself incredibly lucky to have joined this medical practice. The team is exceptionally welcoming and easy to interact with. My primary care physician, Dr Hina Trivedi, is outstanding. She demonstrates a sincere commitment to my health and welfare. The recently renovated facility is wonderfully inviting and pleasant. I've experienced no difficulties scheduling appointments or reaching the office by telephone. While there can occasionally be a wait, it's perfectly reasonable and typical. In summary, this is a top-tier practice with remarkable personnel and truly exceptional medical professionals.
