I've been seeing doctors at this medical practice for years, and I can confidently say the staff consistently demonstrate exceptional professionalism and kindness. The physicians and administrative team have always been courteous and welcoming. My sole frustration lies with the morning appointment booking process, where the phone lines remain perpetually busy between 8:00am and later. Despite this minor inconvenience, I've found telephone consultations remarkably smooth - one doctor even called me at 5:45pm and began by apologizing for a previous scheduling issue! I appreciate that the practice conducts internal staff training and believe patients should be understanding of this process. After all, everyone learns and develops their skills over time. If we all approached interactions with mutual respect and empathy, many potential challenges could be more easily resolved. It's regrettable that online booking services were suspended during pandemic lockdowns, though I understand this was unavoidable. I'm hopeful these services will be reinstated when appropriate circumstances arise. I've consistently recommended this practice to others, and those who've followed my advice have been grateful. The positive experiences shared by those I've referred have only reinforced my confidence in this medical team.

Quick and Caring Doctor Visit
I seldom require medical attention (and I'm aware consultations can be challenging in the current climate!) yet my latest interaction was absolutely flawless. An initial telephone consultation (which is entirely reasonable) followed by an in-person visit with the GP/Registrar. The front desk personnel were wonderfully friendly, and the GP/Registrar herself was incredibly meticulous, compassionate, and empathetic. If the rating system allowed for more recognition, I would certainly award it!

Worst Doctors Ever: Incompetent and Unprofessional
The sole reason I'd award a single star is due to cleanliness, but these are undoubtedly the WORST doctors I've ever encountered. Unfortunately, my living situation forces me to continue using their services. Their practice is a complete disaster - disorganized, poorly coordinated, and thoroughly incompetent. Several of the physicians are absolutely terrible! They're discourteous, unprofessional, arrogant, and consistently make patients feel insignificant and undervalued. I've personally experienced multiple instances of incorrect documentation in my medical records, including false entries about appointments, treatments, and even my newborn's vaccination history. Their negligence has gone as far as inappropriately diagnosing patients, resulting in serious consequences like job losses and revoked driving licenses. Scheduled telephone consultations frequently go unmade, and follow-up calls regarding critical information are routinely ignored. Attempting to contact the doctors is a nightmare, with patients often left waiting up to 45 minutes on hold. Without a doubt, this is the most poorly managed medical practice imaginable!

Genuinely, my relatives and I have been attempting to contact this medical practice for seven days straight, and the line perpetually indicates "user busy" despite our urgent matters. Their system should involve a proper queue, not simply disconnecting calls. It's frankly disappointing, especially for a healthcare provider. We've reluctantly chosen this particular surgery as it seems marginally better than the alternative in Saltburn.

Frustrated by GP's lack of care and support
The reception staff and nurses I encountered were excellent. Nevertheless, I experienced significant emotional distress due to a GP's lack of care and communication over six months. After deciding to submit a detailed written complaint about the GP's impact on my mental health and overall well-being, I was once again left feeling hurt and helpless by the practice manager's response. With minimal acknowledgment of my specific concerns, she suggested I find another practice and included a letter from the GP presenting her own selective version of events. Unsurprisingly, the manager showed no concern about the discrepancies between the doctor's account and what was documented in my medical records, particularly given that her response was dated several days before the doctor's letter. My sole intention was to ensure preventive measures were implemented to stop others from experiencing similar treatment. I sought education, not punishment. Instead, I now feel patronized and unfairly blamed. I may well follow their advice and seek a new medical practice, as the thought of returning now makes me extremely uncomfortable.

I went to the medical practice yesterday concerned about potential mini stroke symptoms. Emma Smith, the nurse practitioner, handled my initial assessment. She was incredibly comprehensive and displayed exceptional interpersonal skills. Following a consultation with Dr. Milner, which included a coffee and consistent blood pressure checks, I departed feeling completely at ease.
