Inconsistent care and long waits for appointments

This practice used to provide excellent care, but the experience has declined significantly. There is inconsistency in seeing the same healthcare professional, and a recent telephone consultation was conducted by someone in training rather than a qualified doctor, which prompted a complaint to the patient advocacy service. When attempting to schedule a test, the earliest available appointment offered was several months away. Despite being a long-standing patient, consideration is being given to registering elsewhere.

Quick appointment after describing symptoms

Called the practice earlier today requesting a prompt appointment with a GP. Following a short explanation of my symptoms to the receptionist, I was offered an afternoon slot. This marks the second occasion this has occurred, and I must say the service provided has been exceptional. The efficiency demonstrated is truly impressive, and I would encourage the practice to maintain these standards. I believe other surgeries could benefit from adopting similar approaches, as the results speak for themselves.

Reception staff were always courteous and helpful

I find working together with the healthcare professional on my situation is most helpful as they fully understand my approach and what I am trying to achieve. They are both professional and friendly but also realistic and show so much empathy. A brilliant member of the practice. Even though this healthcare professional has only relatively recently started supporting me, I cannot give enough praise to them and to the medical practice in general, including the reception staff who are always courteous, respectful and helpful whenever I call.

I'm genuinely grateful for the support I receive at this medical practice. You know how visiting the doctor can sometimes feel quite stressful? That's not my experience here! The team members are absolutely wonderful, genuinely friendly and always appear eager to assist. I've never experienced lengthy waits before my appointments either, which is particularly helpful given my anxiety. Honestly, the whole process is quick and efficient, which is fantastic when you're feeling anxious. The clinic itself is very contemporary and immaculately maintained as well. It really does make you feel at ease. It's simply a really excellent, efficiently managed practice, and I'd happily suggest it to others.
