Exceptional doctors and staff at this medical practice

I want to express my deepest appreciation to Dr Ali, my physician for over 15 years. She has consistently been exceptional during every consultation — always compassionate, attentive, and delivering top-tier medical care. Dr Ali genuinely demonstrates extraordinary commitment to her patients, and I am profoundly thankful for her continued outstanding service. I also want to recognize Dr Giridah, who has been incredibly supportive and empathetic throughout my health experience. She guided me through challenging medical situations with remarkable compassion and professional expertise. Dr Hussain is another remarkable physician who listens intently and provides exceptional care, offering tremendous support whenever I required assistance. I must also commend the exceptional frontline staff: Dev, Devi, Samia, and Ghuzala — they have consistently demonstrated kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism at reception, providing excellent support with appointments and addressing my inquiries. Their consistent courtesy is truly appreciated. Unfortunately, my interactions with Dr Asma have been consistently unsatisfactory. I have felt uncomfortable during our encounters and consistently request to avoid being assigned to her. I additionally want to highlight concerns regarding current practice management. Since Anita's departures, the new manager's level of engagement has significantly diminished. I find him unprofessional, unresponsive to patient concerns, and lacking the requisite seriousness for the role. The surgery's overall environment has noticeably deteriorated. However, this review is fundamentally a heartfelt tribute to Dr Ali and the exceptional doctors and staff who maintain extraordinarily high care standards. The practice truly excels because of their dedication — Dr Ali, you are simply incomparable. I will be forwarding this review to PELC via email. Thank you sincerely.

Frustrating healthcare experience with unhelpful receptionists

Utterly appalling service. Attempting to schedule a doctor's appointment involves being interrogated by receptionists about personal medical details, then being redirected to a poorly designed online form that receives no response. The medical staff appear completely inaccessible, as if deliberately hiding from patients. There's a genuine risk of medical neglect for those unable to secure consultations. The quality has dramatically deteriorated since the pandemic, with booking an appointment becoming an almost impossible task, and actually seeing a physician being extremely rare. Patients are essentially being ignored and dismissed without any meaningful medical attention. I haven't managed to consult a doctor because we're treated as inconvenient afterthoughts. Anyone seeking healthcare should steer clear of this practice entirely.

Rushed and careless doctor ignored my health concerns

My initial visit for sinusitis and nosebleeds turned into a deeply disappointing encounter. The moment I stepped into the examination room, the physician hastily handed me a prescription, claiming it would resolve my issues, and then abruptly dismissed me. He made no effort to inquire about my symptoms, medical history, or current medications. The entire consultation lasted less than two minutes, during which he showed zero interest in understanding my condition or providing any meaningful guidance. His approach was shockingly unprofessional, demonstrating a complete lack of care and compassion for a patient seeking medical help.

I received a pre-appointment call offering me a choice between an in-person or phone consultation. I selected the phone option, yet no call ever came through. Extremely irritating. My recommendation is to opt for face-to-face meetings if they schedule an appointment with you.

Terrible nurses ruin any hope of good care

I'd argue they're occasionally acceptable, but certain nursing staff display a dismissive and patronizing attitude that demonstrates they're unsuited for patient care when they can't show basic respect for individual patient needs. Completely pointless, and you'd be better off investing in private healthcare where you maintain actual autonomy and control. Steer clear of this facility at all costs!!!!

My recent appointment at Ilford Medical Centre with Dr. Husain Kamrun left much to be desired. The doctor appeared more focused on talking than genuinely hearing our concerns, creating a sense of disconnection during the consultation. When I attempted to discuss a specific issue regarding my daughter's lips, I was abruptly instructed to schedule another appointment, which struck me as highly inconvenient given that we were already present. The entire interaction felt disjointed and unsatisfactory, with Dr. Kamrun displaying what I perceived as an unprofessional demeanor. My recommendation to others would be to thoroughly research and confirm the specific physician they will be seeing before committing to an appointment at this medical facility.

Terrible service and unprofessional pharmacy staff

I've encountered extremely poor conduct from the reception and pharmacy staff. The two female employees I interacted with were incredibly discourteous. They deliberately delayed addressing my child's infection for four days, dismissing my concerns. Their communication was dismissive, and they abruptly terminated our phone conversations. Such unprofessional and disrespectful treatment is absolutely unacceptable and deeply disturbing.

Terrible service at medical centre disappoints patient

I recently went to the medical center to provide a urine sample. The reception staff was unhelpful and sent me back home to collect the specimen while I was experiencing severe back pain. After returning home and bringing back the sample to the GP, I was further frustrated when I was bypassed and made to wait, with another patient being seen instead. The receptionist, Mr. Younus, showed a lack of empathy. When a patient is already suffering, the staff should be more considerate and not add to their distress. This experience was deeply disappointing.
