Patient feedback reflects a mixed experience with significant operational challenges alongside pockets of positive care. Appointment access remains the most pressing concern, with patients reporting persistent difficulties reaching the practice by phone, lengthy waiting times during call attempts, and limited availability of same-day or next-day slots. The online booking system and e-consultation platform frequently show no available appointments, forcing patients to rely on callback services that experience substantial delays. Prescription processing has emerged as a recurring issue, with patients reporting multi-week waits and repeated failures to fulfil repeat medication orders despite proper submission procedures.
Where the practice receives consistent praise is in the quality of clinical care and staff compassion when patients do gain access. Patients highlight responsive doctors, attentive nurses, and reception staff who demonstrate genuine care and support during consultations. Communication and listening skills are frequently commended, with several patients noting that staff take time to address concerns thoroughly. The practice environment is described as welcoming, and those who have successfully accessed services report feeling heard and supported through their healthcare journey.
The gap between access and care quality suggests systemic capacity constraints rather than individual staff failings. Patients acknowledge the pressures facing NHS services but express frustration that these barriers prevent timely medical attention, particularly for urgent or mental health concerns. Feedback indicates that improving appointment availability, phone system responsiveness, and prescription turnaround times would substantially enhance the overall patient experience.

His compassionate approach, supportive guidance, and comforting reassurance have been instrumental in helping me through this challenging time. I am truly appreciative of Dr. Rowe's professional expertise and personal kindness. Additionally, I want to extend my thanks to the wonderful reception staff, who have also been delightful and helpful throughout my appointments.

Terrible healthcare that leaves patients feeling abandoned
Absolutely dreadful medical practice. Getting face-to-face time with a physician has become incredibly rare. They're obsessed with digital consultations that completely fail to meet patient needs. I'm thoroughly frustrated with this clinic - they seem to accept countless patients without having the capacity to provide proper care. Their approach is totally unacceptable!

Great service from caring medical staff
I wanted to express my gratitude to the receptionist and Keith for their exceptional assistance today. I had been waiting for a note for an extended period, so I visited the doctor's office in person. Both staff members were incredibly helpful and resolved my issue immediately during my visit. Much appreciation for their prompt and efficient service.

Incompetent medical practice with terrible customer service
Terrible healthcare experience. The general practitioner attempted to prescribe me two medications that are no longer on the market. I'm actively seeking to change providers and have completely lost trust in their services. After posting this review, I was prompted to call and address my concerns. When I tried to do so, I was greeted with a recorded message stating they were closed for staff training at 1:30 PM on a Wednesday afternoon.

Terrible service at jubilee medical centre today
I've never experienced any issues with Jubilee previously. Every staff member, from the front desk to the nurses and doctors, has been fine. I recently completed an e-consultation and received a text message scheduling an appointment for 12:30 yesterday at JUBILEE MEDICAL CENTRE. However, when I arrived, I encountered an unprofessional young staff member who was rudely slouching in his chair. He was completely inappropriate and should not have been working there. Despite showing him the confirmation text, he insisted it was a phone consultation while remaining slumped in his seat. My partner intervened and spoke with him, which eventually led to the doctor getting involved by phone. Ultimately, I'm now done with both this doctor and the hospital altogether.

Unacceptable mental health support for vulnerable patients
My child is struggling with mental health and experiencing low spirits. He completed an e-consultation on Tuesday and was informed someone would contact him on Wednesday. No call came, so he had to reach out again on Thursday, only to be told he might receive a callback within 3 to 14 days. It's appalling how mental health patients are being neglected, failing to receive the essential support doctors should provide to prevent hospitalizations. I am utterly outraged by this unacceptable lack of care.

Frustrating journey through healthcare system nightmare
Firstly, I'm not a fan of e-consultations, perhaps I'm a bit old-fashioned, but anyway... I fell out of bed in the early hours of 13/2 around 3 AM... I didn't call 111. I badly injured my left hand, which is still bruised. I went to work as normal on Thursday and Friday. Friday evening, my back started becoming extremely uncomfortable and painful, so I took some strong painkillers. Went to bed around 5 AM in excruciating pain, took more pain relief, and had some physiotherapy at lunchtime to manipulate the pain. I've had major back problems before, so I know what to do. Sunday, after taking pain relief, I was up early around 5 AM and got a different physiotherapy treatment. Uncomfortable but felt like it had eased... Not so lucky. Monday around 5 AM again, I had to call 111 for help. Got a callback from the on-call doctor at 5:50 AM, recommending an X-ray due to the acute pain. This is where my problem began. Completed an e-consultation with my wife's help at 7:25 AM, after going through numerous questions. My wife went to work, but I couldn't due to my back, so I called Jubilee after getting an e-consultation that only advised seeking a walk-in clinic or hospital with an X-ray machine for back pain. No offer of a doctor's appointment. A receptionist advised me to go to St Chad's in Kirkby for the X-ray. I had previously called another walk-in clinic, and they suggested getting a doctor's referral for an X-ray. I mentioned this to the woman at Jubilee, who checked with St Chad's while I was on hold. St Chad's said no referral was needed. I booked a taxi for £11, only to be told I would need a referral... I was furious with the entire situation and promptly called the doctor's contact.

Terrible service and frustrating patient experience nightmare
I'm thoroughly frustrated with this medical practice. Their appointment system is completely dysfunctional - instead of allowing direct phone bookings, they force patients to submit an online E consultation form and then endure an agonizing wait of several days for a callback to schedule an actual appointment. Once you finally manage to secure an appointment, you're subjected to sitting in the waiting area while staff members openly complain about patients, which is utterly unacceptable and displays a shocking lack of professionalism.

Compassionate care when i needed it most
I arrived at the clinic struggling with breathing difficulties, and the care I received was exceptional. The staff were attentive, thoroughly examined me, and provided treatment. This medical practice is truly outstanding, and I would absolutely recommend them to others. They were committed to ensuring I felt completely better before letting me leave.

Terrible service leaving patients in unbearable pain
The surgical procedure has been an absolute nightmare. They claim to process requests and respond within 24 hours, but this is completely false. I've been waiting for two days and had to personally follow up multiple times today. Eventually, I was informed that I must wait until Thursday or submit yet another request. As someone who endures chronic pain and has long been familiar with suffering, I reached out because my symptoms have significantly intensified. I'm currently experiencing unbearable agony, and the only "assistance" offered is to complete another electronic form.

Frustrating healthcare experience with jubilee surgeries
I opted to wait in the phone queue this morning, as Jubilee's e-form is notoriously difficult to locate online. After nearly an hour of waiting, I attempted to schedule an appointment for my partner. Surprisingly, the representative didn't inquire about the reason for the appointment, instead instructing me to submit an online request. What's the point of offering a phone option and a queue-skipping option if this is the treatment? Inadvertently, I sent a very brief form to Pinewood Surgeries in Waterloo, struggling to find the correct recipient due to the tiny link. While navigating Jubilee's unnecessarily complex form, a Pinewood doctor called to offer a noon appointment, likely due to the urgency of a breast lump discovery. Jubilee took significantly longer to respond, eventually offering a late afternoon slot on the same day. The Jubilee team's approach seems deliberately obstructive, especially when dealing with potentially serious medical concerns. They didn't even attempt to understand the patient's situation or verify online access capabilities. This apparent lack of patient-centered care must stem from systemic issues within the organization. The fundamental question remains: Why such an inefficient and impersonal approach to healthcare communication?
