Terrible doctors who don't listen or care

These healthcare providers show zero compassion for their patients and provide minimal support during difficult times. Scheduling an appointment has become incredibly challenging, and they consistently resort to impersonal phone consultations while completely disregarding patients' genuine concerns. I strongly caution anyone reading this to seek alternative medical care, as these practitioners will undoubtedly fail you when you require support the most. When I finally manage to communicate with their team, they remain utterly unhelpful. Despite experiencing significant personal struggles, I'm forced to repeatedly contact them before receiving appropriate medical guidance or medication recommendations. My fiancée has been enduring an extremely distressing situation, and incredibly, one of their doctors suggested she simply try meditation as a solution.

Incompetent staff and endless medical note frustration

I rarely give a 1-star review, so this deserves your attention. In my two years here, not a single query has been correctly addressed by admin or reception. I'm consistently dismissed, given inaccurate information, and the staff appear to operate in complete isolation. Each call results in a receptionist repeating outdated or incorrect information, even after I've clarified details with another colleague the same week. I requested a stress-related sick note a month ago, which was approved immediately. Hospitalized for 7 of 14 days, I requested an extension, which was also quickly processed. However, last Wednesday, a receptionist claimed I was simply sick, not on stress leave, contradicting the system's records. When I explained my hospitalization was stress-related, she reluctantly consulted a doctor. She later confirmed the system error but warned the note might take 3-5 working days. Meanwhile, my workplace questioned the missing documentation. During subsequent blood tests, another receptionist promised to chase the note. Thursday passed. Friday passed. On my birthday (Monday), still no sick note. After multiple dropped calls, I finally spoke with an incredibly rude, clueless receptionist. She claimed the doctor needed to review my stress leave and was uncomfortable issuing a note. When I asked why nobody communicated this, she deflected responsibility. The conversation devolved into her repeatedly talking over me, avoiding direct questions, and eventually claiming signal issues before hanging up. Forty minutes later, no callback materialized. Additional problematic experiences include: . Staff incorrectly telling my ADHD clinic I have cardiomyopathy (which I don't) . Prescribing incorrect diabetes medication . Consistently failing to retain my current medical treatment information To be fair, approximately 70% of doctors and nurses are compassionate and knowledgeable. The remaining 30% seem disinterested, unhelpful, and dismissive. Overall, a genuinely terrible GP practice, consistently running at least 15 minutes behind schedule.

Regrettably, I'm compelled to award this establishment a single star due to its continuous decline in service. For three consecutive days, I've attempted to secure an appointment or phone consultation, calling between 8am-11am, yet never receiving an answer! The ring back service is utterly useless - I can assure you won't get a callback, and after three days, I'm still waiting! Following the receptionist's advice to use the online consultation tool proves equally futile, as it perpetually indicates all appointments are gone and suggests trying again tomorrow. This situation directly contributes to overcrowded A&E departments, with patients who could potentially be helped through a brief telephone consultation. People are becoming increasingly desperate to receive medical attention. I've been suffering from vertigo for over two weeks, and as a hospital employee, I understand the current systemic strain and genuinely don't wish to add additional pressure. However, I'm now at my wit's end with no apparent alternatives. Their system desperately requires comprehensive restructuring - there are simply too many patients and insufficient staff to manage effectively. FOR GOODNESS' SAKE, PLEASE ADDRESS THIS URGENT ISSUE!!!!!

I've been a patient at this medical practice along with my family for approximately 6 years, and it's truly an excellent clinic. Booking appointments is incredibly straightforward through their e-consult system, and requesting a callback is simple. The service is impeccable. The reception staff are delightful - always cheerful and pleasant to interact with, which is surprisingly rare 😂. We've consulted with various GPs during our time here, and while you don't consistently see the same doctor like in my previous surgery, that doesn't particularly bother me, though there's admittedly less continuity (though you can request specific doctors during e-consultations if available). I'm aware many people struggle to secure appointments for months at other practices, but fortunately, we've never encountered such issues. I do have preferences among the doctors regarding their patient communication, explanation skills, interpersonal approach, and overall effectiveness. While there are numerous competent physicians here, it's natural to develop certain preferences 😂. I'd especially like to commend Dr. G Moore ✌️, who is undoubtedly the most patient-centered doctor in the practice. I've primarily interacted with him via phone consultations, with a few in-person meetings. He's incredibly approachable and goes above and beyond, never making patients feel like an inconvenience. His listening skills are exceptional - he doesn't interrupt, asks pertinent questions, and maintains a respectful, non-dismissive attitude. His consultations consistently leave me feeling satisfied and supported. Dr. Moore has been instrumental in my healthcare journey, helping me navigate complex medical scenarios. He proactively assisted me by exploring referral options, particularly for my gallstone removal, presenting multiple hospital and consultant choices. His patient-centered approach is empowering, ensuring patients feel informed and involved in their healthcare decisions. I'm genuinely grateful for his comprehensive and compassionate care. Without his intervention, I would likely still be waiting and experiencing painful medical complications. His prompt, knowledgeable approach and willingness to utilize available resources make him an outstanding healthcare professional. I sincerely hope the practice recognizes Dr. Moore's exceptional work, which is appreciated not just by me, but undoubtedly by numerous patients. Frustrating booking system destroys patient healthcare experience

I'm utterly frustrated with their appointment scheduling process and booking system. As someone who works in a call centre, I find it incredibly challenging to secure an appointment. When you call, you must go through triage, and they provide no specific call time, which means once I start work at 9am, I'm completely unable to take their call. The receptionists show zero understanding of my work constraints. Even when I attempt to book an appointment at 8am on my day off, I'm still forced to go through triage, despite explicitly requesting to see the doctor directly. This means wasting an entire day waiting for a potential callback. Their booking system is entirely inflexible - it's a strict same-day, first-come-first-served approach. The early morning appointments that were once available have seemingly disappeared completely. The entire ordeal has become so complicated that I've been postponing medical consultations, and as a result, my health is deteriorating.
