Compassionate nurse makes medical center shine bright

During my initial appointment at this Medical Center, I only interacted with a Nurse, but her demeanor suggests the entire staff might be equally exceptional. This particular nurse was incredibly gracious - her politeness, respect, and willingness to help were remarkable. She demonstrated remarkable patience, allowing me to express myself fully without rushing me, even though she likely had other patients waiting. Her compassionate approach has convinced me that switching to this medical practice was the right decision. I don't mean to diminish my previous healthcare provider, whose nursing staff was also excellent, but their physicians were significantly deficient in both clinical expertise and emotional understanding.

Terrible pharmacy service with unhelpful staff

I submitted my prescription on Sunday, expecting to pick it up by Wednesday. When I arrived on Thursday, they told me to return on Friday. By then, I had already exhausted my existing medication supply. While not every employee is problematic, many seem unmotivated. They consistently fail to answer phone calls and neglect to process medication updates, despite promising to do so. Ultimately, I cannot endorse their service.

Terrible healthcare with zero patient compassion

This GP practice is absolutely abysmal, and I'm frustrated that I'm obligated to award even a single star. The doctors consistently dodge in-person consultations, completely disregarding the severity of your pain. Moreover, they're unwilling to prescribe any medication and stubbornly refuse to process repeat prescriptions during phone consultations, dismissively telling you that you can handle it yourself. While I acknowledge I'm capable of doing it independently, if the GP is already on the phone with me, why not simply complete the task? Their unprofessional approach has driven me to initiate the process of transferring to a different medical practice, as this current situation is utterly ridiculous.

Terrible healthcare service with zero patient respect

Endless waiting on hold, only to receive a terrible diagnostic link that invariably recommends hospital emergency care! Upon arriving at the clinic, the staff demonstrate zero professionalism, loudly broadcasting personal details as if everyone is hard of hearing. They announce names and medical issues across the entire waiting room, completely disregarding privacy regulations. You're forced to stand there, feeling faint and nauseous, while the receptionist completes her personal phone calls before acknowledging you. Not a single word of apology was offered. The entire experience is absolutely shameful!

Jubilee medical centre saved my husbands life

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Jubilee Medical Centre for their role in saving my 30-year-old husband's life. After just 3 days of illness, I contacted them as his condition was rapidly declining. The reception staff were incredibly supportive and compassionate, securing a same-day telephone consultation with a doctor on 13/8/21. When I initially missed the first call while assisting my husband in the bathroom, the doctor ensured they called back and promptly referred us to Whiston Hospital A&E, given my growing concern. I had already requested an ambulance, feeling increasingly worried about transporting him myself. Regrettably, the ambulance service's overwhelming workload resulted in a 7-hour wait. Upon arrival, the paramedics noted he appeared slightly improved, and his observations seemed stable. I doubt they would have transported him without the GP's urgent referral. I am immensely relieved that the doctor prioritized caution, as it was discovered he was critically ill with septicaemia. His clinical condition significantly deteriorated just hours after arriving in A&E, but treatment had already commenced when his alarming blood test results were received. He is now home, recovering after an intensive care stay and open-heart surgery, with the GP practice continuing to provide exceptional support. The follow-up GP consultation on 7/9/21 was extraordinarily compassionate. They attentively listened to my concerns during his recovery, arranged necessary tests, prescribed additional medication, and ensured our mental well-being following this traumatic experience. Their genuine empathy profoundly comforted both my husband and me, alleviating our anxieties. I am deeply thankful to the practice and the NHS for saving my husband's life.
