Feedback reveals a practice with significant operational challenges that dominate patient experience. Appointment access remains the most persistent concern, with patients reporting extended phone wait times, unavailable slots despite calling at designated times, and difficulty securing both routine and urgent consultations. Reception experience is frequently cited as problematic, with patients describing unhelpful attitudes, gatekeeping behaviour, and staff making clinical judgments beyond their scope. Prescription processing delays and poor care coordination have also emerged as recurring issues, alongside concerns about responsiveness to patient needs and follow-up communication.
In contrast, clinical care quality receives consistent praise when patients successfully access appointments. Surgical teams, podiatry staff, and medical professionals are frequently described as compassionate, skilled, and attentive. Positive feedback highlights professional demeanor, thorough examination, and genuine patient concern during consultations. Reception teams at their best are noted as welcoming and supportive, with some patients reporting efficient booking and helpful communication.
The practice appears to operate with a stark divide between clinical excellence and systemic service failures. While medical competence and care quality are rarely questioned, the booking system, reception processes, and organisational coordination create substantial barriers to accessing that care. This mismatch between clinical capability and operational delivery represents the core tension in patient experience at this facility.

Bad!
Nightmare healthcare experience with impossible appointment system
Getting a medical appointment feels like an impossible game of chance. Your odds of securing a face-to-face or even a telephone consultation are slimmer than winning the lottery. First, you have to actually manage to reach a real person, which is a challenge in itself. Attempt to book an appointment at 8am? Good luck. You'll likely spend an eternity on hold, listening to a monotonous waiting queue, only to be informed an hour later that "all appointments are fully booked". Try again at 10:30am, and you'll receive the exact same disappointing response. Your alternative? Head to the Emergency Department or a Walk-in Centre. By the time you potentially see a doctor, so much time will have passed that you might have completely forgotten the original reason for seeking medical attention.

Terrible healthcare service with incompetent staff
Impossible to secure a general practitioner consultation. The front desk staff are inappropriately screening patients and failing to accurately record medical symptoms. They're arbitrarily determining patients' required treatment. Absolutely unacceptable.

Frustrated patient receives unhelpful medical consultation
I visited my healthcare provider today regarding a long-standing medical issue, hoping to discuss potential treatment paths. Despite battling this condition for over a decade and expressing my desire for a referral, I was informed that I do not qualify for further intervention. When I asked the physician for guidance, I emphasized that as the medical professional, I expected them to advise me on the appropriate course of action. The way patients can be left suffering without adequate medical support is completely unacceptable and deeply frustrating.

Frustrating healthcare experience with endless delays
I'm constantly struggling to secure an appointment. I requested a slot for my B12 injection and was informed I must wait 4 weeks, which is already 2 weeks past due. On January 2nd, I was diagnosed as anemic, and subsequent tests have not revealed any underlying cause. When I sought a doctor's appointment to address this, I was instructed to call back next week, with the only alternative being to visit Lowdham. However, I suffer from severe arthritis in both knees, making mobility extremely challenging, and traveling to Lowdham is simply not feasible. I'm completely at a loss and find the entire situation utterly frustrating.

Nightmare healthcare with zero compassion for patients
As a retired nurse practitioner, I would award zero stars if possible because this practice is absolutely appalling. I understand the healthcare perspective, yet the treatment is unacceptable. This morning, I started calling at 8:05 for an appointment, thinking I was making progress when connected to the surgery. After pressing one, I was met with "we cannot answer your call." Eventually, after waiting nearly an hour and being 15th in the queue, I was informed at 9:15 that no appointments were available and was directed to a walk-in centre. This was my sole option, despite explaining that my husband is a stroke survivor with heart issues, recently discharged from hospital. The situation remains unresolved, which explains the current state of affairs. This is undoubtedly the worst medical practice ever. They desperately need new management who can properly delegate care, instead of allowing receptionists to seemingly run the entire operation.

Frustrating healthcare experience with no helpful solutions
I attempted to schedule an appointment last week and was directed to the emergency room (A&E) with a five-hour wait, where I ultimately received the necessary antibiotics. Upon calling again yesterday, I was informed no appointments were available, but the staff member took my details and promised to resolve the issue today. However, when I followed up this morning, I was once more told no appointments were open and was advised to visit the walk-in centre or A&E. I'm not specifically seeking an in-person consultation, but I urgently need additional antibiotics to treat my ongoing chest and sinus infection. What has become of this medical practice's standard of care!!

Terrible healthcare service with no compassion
A complete disaster of a medical practice. The front desk staff display occasional rudeness. The pharmacy appears incredibly disorganized, forcing patients to endure unreasonable wait times with young children for prescriptions, only to be informed of some issue, then shuttled back and forth between the GP reception and pharmacy, with staff even asking me to explain the problem. Excuse me, but I didn't realize I was now part of the administrative team! I understand the service is overwhelmed, but failing to execute basic functions is inexcusable. What motivates someone to enter healthcare if they cannot genuinely demonstrate compassion, communicate effectively, or prioritize patient care? Isn't that the fundamental purpose of this profession? Absolutely terrible, no stars, steer clear

Friendly staff, but impossible to get an appointment
Despite the commendable long-term services like prenatal care and pediatric clinics, with truly exceptional staff, the GP surgery itself is in complete disarray. Securing an appointment is an exercise in futility, akin to hoping for a lottery win. In fact, your odds of winning the lottery seem significantly better than obtaining a medical consultation at this practice. Utilize their services that allow advance bookings months ahead, but steer clear of their GP practice for immediate medical needs.

It is impossible to get a non urgent appointment at this practice. They tell you to ring after 10:30 but even ringing dead on 10:30 you end up 15th in the queue. It then takes an hour to speak to a receptionist who then tells you that there are no appointments available. I have a number of things to discus that does not require a face to face meeting. My only way forward is to go to the surgery for an urgent appointment. It should also be noted that the Jubilee Park Medical Partnership have taken down their website and it is no longer possible to make a complaint online. I had an important blood test over 3 months ago and have yet to be contacted with the results.

Terrible healthcare service avoid at all costs
I'd award zero stars if possible. Absolutely appalling medical care, steer clear. Some time ago, they neglected to communicate crucial test results to my spouse, resulting in hospitalization. More recently, they've repeatedly botched prescription paperwork, claiming completion while failing to properly process documents with the pharmacy. Phone wait times consistently exceed half an hour, only to discover no available appointments. Their decision to absorb patients from other closed practices has created overwhelming patient congestion. If you're seeking quality healthcare, I strongly recommend finding an alternative provider. It's genuinely astonishing they continue to operate given their substandard service.

Frustrating phone system ruins healthcare experience
If you fail to call precisely at 8 AM and aren't aware of the secret method to skip the excessively long menu selections, you'll miss out on securing an appointment. They drop available slots at 10:30, and unless you know the specific numeric sequence to circumvent the drawn-out phone introduction where some representative drones on about unnecessary details for three entire minutes, you're out of luck. Genuinely an absurd medical practice that remains overwhelmingly overbooked while still taking on new patients.

Rude staff ruined my healthcare experience
The front desk staff was incredibly unhelpful and rude. I'm unable to schedule a consultation with a nurse for my wound care. They dismissively suggested I travel to a distant Treatment Centre instead of assisting me. This employee desperately needs customer service training. Typically, this facility provides excellent service. Today was a complete exception. I wish I could rate this experience lower than zero stars.
