Compassionate doctor who truly understands my struggles
I had an appointment with Dr Al Hashimi, and his understanding was incredible - it felt like he could read my mind. He anticipated my thoughts before I could even articulate them. The support I received today was truly remarkable, and for the first time in years, I felt completely heard and understood. After struggling to express myself for so long, this doctor finally helped me break through. I am deeply grateful and cannot thank him enough for his exceptional care.

Rude receptionist blocks legal name change process
I am deeply frustrated by the receptionist's condescending and inappropriate behavior when discussing my Deed Poll name change on behalf of the NHS, arbitrarily claiming whether the name modification is acceptable. Unlike all other official bodies in England that have cooperated and updated my records, Karis Medical Centre and the NHS have refused to comply. This stance is completely unacceptable and appears to violate the legal standards and regulations of our country!!!

Worst medical clinic ever terrible service for kids
A truly awful medical facility, particularly when dealing with pediatric care. Communication is impossible - I spend endless hours tethered to the phone, perpetually stuck in a seemingly infinite queue, often positioned 17th in line. Even when I miraculously connect with someone and articulate the urgency of my situation, the response remains frustratingly unchanged. Urgent appointments for children are scheduled weeks out, which is completely unacceptable. This clinic's level of service is absolutely deplorable!!!!!

Frustrating medical monitoring with zero communication
I was tasked with tracking my blood pressure, which I diligently did and sent to the admin email as requested. They then instructed me to log my BP, which I've been doing consistently for a week. Apparently, this is somehow an insurmountable challenge for Karis. Unable to comprehend a simple email, they then asked me to email them. And when I did? They claimed they can't accept medical-related emails. Absolutely ridiculous. Now they're consuming my time by demanding I log my blood pressure twice daily at 9am and in the evening, using their specific form link. Wonderful, except the link is completely non-functional. Absolutely useless. Completely and utterly useless. They're doing nothing but squandering both their time and mine.

Terrible service, but lily saves the day
Not impressed with karis due to the lengthy wait to see a doctor, which is completely unacceptable, and I'm also put off by some of the receptionists' unprofessional phone manner. However, I must highlight lily, a receptionist who stands out - she's consistently helpful, maintains a cheerful demeanor, and treats patients with genuine respect. She definitely earns a perfect 5-star rating from me.

Terrible service and rude staff at this medical practice
This practice has dramatically declined from its previous high standards! I'm deeply disappointed that an email I sent on September 29th remains unanswered, and now it's January. The receptionists display shocking rudeness, particularly towards individuals with limited English proficiency. (A family member experienced this) When I called seeking a numbing cream for my two-year-old son, I was abruptly told I should have collected the prescription when initially sent. I explained that this was impossible because his blood tests were scheduled two to three months in advance. The receptionist, Sadiqa, seemed more concerned about me "interrupting" her than showing any compassion for my situation. I was simply trying to communicate that this cream was urgently needed for my young child, and I was merely requesting a courtesy from a doctor to forward it to my pharmacy. When I attempted to speak with the practice manager, I was informed she was unavailable - which seems to be a perpetual state. I then requested the deputy manager, only to be told she was also absent. I've been patient, but it's becoming increasingly clear they are unwilling to maintain the professional standards they once upheld.

Terrible service with zero patient consideration. The staff completely disregards patient needs and situations. My elderly mother repeatedly attempted to complete her ECG at the clinic, despite having a confirmed appointment, and each visit resulted in an unexplained cancellation. They made no effort to communicate these cancellations through any means, leaving her frustrated and uninformed.

The receptionist I spoke with was wonderfully composed and empathetic, quickly perceiving my underlying anxiety and helping me feel more relaxed. She handled my inquiry with remarkable efficiency, which has resulted in an anticipated callback from the duty doctor concerning my seriously unwell mother. While I plan to share a follow-up review about the ultimate outcome, I felt strongly motivated to acknowledge and praise this frontline staff member. After all, reception staff are frequently the recipients of criticism, yet rarely receive the recognition they genuinely deserve when they provide exceptional service.
