Nightmare nurse Ruth ruined my treatment
My encounter with Ruth was deeply distressing, and she seems entirely unsuited to healthcare work, tarnishing the reputation of nursing professionals. Her treatment was appalling, and the front desk staff were equally discourteous. Dr. Patel mishandled my bone marrow donation, and Ruth's lack of compassion was striking - Hemel Hospital ultimately acknowledged the issue and provided excellent support. I switched to this medical practice at the start of 2020 after being with Vine House in Abbots throughout my childhood, which had become increasingly problematic and discriminatory towards transgender patients. What a transformation! Nearly every encounter with KLS's personnel has been exceptional, with just two minor exceptions involving an unhelpful pharmacist and a somewhat difficult temporary doctor. I'm truly impressed by the physicians, nursing staff, and all other team members. They've provided exceptional care for me and remain consistently supportive across all my healthcare needs. If this means initially screening patients via telephone consultation to determine necessary in-person visits, I'm completely supportive. This morning, I experienced a slight wait of around 20 minutes while trying to connect, but once through, the receptionist was incredibly compassionate and efficient. They promptly provided me with two convenient appointment options for today. Their approach was wonderfully professional and considerate. Utterly disgraceful treatment, particularly regarding the Surgery's continued inexcusable refusal to conduct in-person patient consultations, coupled with their intimidating receptionist staff who behave like authoritarian gatekeepers. These receptionists actively obstruct patients' attempts to even schedule a preliminary phone triage call with a GP to discuss critical blood test results. The entire experience is shockingly substandard!!

Weeks of frustration with nhs registration
I've been attempting to register for weeks now, and each time I contact them, I'm informed that the person handling my case is unavailable. Moreover, there are no appointments to be found. The NHS isn't a service we should praise merely for existing; it's a healthcare system funded by our monthly contributions, and we rightfully expect an efficient service with courteous receptionists and dedicated medical staff. If given the opportunity, I would gladly opt out of national insurance and purchase private health insurance instead. The NHS seems only interested in quick procedures like vaccine administration, but when it comes to addressing more complex health concerns like the lump on my back, they're completely disinterested. Well done, indeed. 👏

The exceptional medical professionals are utterly undermined by the reception staff's appalling attitude and negligence. Their demeanor is harsh, demeaning, and emotionally detached. People visit doctors out of necessity, not choice, and these employees desperately need to be replaced and retrained to develop basic empathy and respect for human dignity.
