Feedback reveals a deeply divided patient experience at this practice, with significant operational challenges dominating the narrative. Appointment availability emerges as the most persistent concern, with patients reporting extreme difficulty securing slots, lengthy phone queues often exceeding 90 minutes, and being redirected to alternative services. Reception experience is frequently criticised, with patients describing staff as discourteous, unprofessional, and unresponsive to requests. Communication breakdowns are evident across multiple service areas, including delayed transmission of medical records between departments, inconsistent information about procedures, and poor handling of patient concerns.
In contrast, clinical care receives consistent praise when patients reach appointments. Medical professionals are frequently described as compassionate, thorough, and attentive, with several patients highlighting exceptional care from specific doctors and nursing staff. The practice environment is noted as clean and well-maintained. However, these positive clinical experiences are substantially undermined by the systemic access and administrative failures that prevent many patients from receiving care in the first place.
Administrative issues including medication processing delays, lost documentation, and failure to follow up on referrals compound patient frustration. The overall pattern suggests a practice with capable clinical staff but severely constrained by appointment capacity, reception responsiveness, and organisational systems that create barriers to accessing care.

Bad!
Worst medical service ever terrible waiting experience
utterly revolting medical center experience, stuck in line for thirty minutes despite being first in line, with their ridiculous instruction to schedule appointments at 8 am, completely disregarding that some patients have professional commitments during those hours

Worst customer service ever frustrating wait times
I was stuck at position 6 in the queue. After waiting 31 minutes, they called back with a weak signal and abruptly disconnected. Now I've been at position 1 for 23 minutes. I hope the staff would treat customers with the same respect we show them.

Worst phone service ever wasting my precious time
I reached out to my general practitioner's office to schedule a blood test. The receptionist informed me there were 5 calkers in the queue. After waiting for approximately 90 minutes, the operator apologetically stated they couldn't handle my call at that time, despite the system indicating I was next in line. This is an absolutely unacceptable and frustrating experience. I'll now have to physically visit the office to make my appointment, which is incredibly inconvenient.

Frustrating medical experience with infant health concern
Deeply frustrated because my infant is experiencing genital health concerns, and the medical professionals are dismissing the problem with apparent indifference.

Endless wait for impossible medical appointment
I've been stuck on their waiting list for over a year and a half, and it seems they're deliberately making it challenging to schedule any kind of appointment.

Great care and attentive doctors at kingway
Kingway has really improved! The medical staff are delightful and the front desk personnel are acceptable. I've consistently had positive experiences with the physicians, who are mostly long-standing members of the practice. The doctors demonstrate genuine care and ensure comprehensive attention to all aspects of patient concerns.

Terrible service from unhelpful medical staff
The staff at the front desk of Kingsway are absolutely terrible, displaying a complete lack of courtesy and professionalism. They consistently treat patients with disdain and routinely claim no appointment slots are open, despite the fact that the entire medical facility appears completely vacant.

Nightmare healthcare with endless wait times and no appointments
I've been a patient at Kingsway health center in Luton for four years, and throughout this time, securing an appointment has been impossible!!! The current state of NHS is incredibly exasperating, with services characterized by endless waiting times and a complete lack of accessibility. When you're unwell and attempt to schedule a consultation, you'll likely find that by the time you might get an appointment, your illness will have already passed. Should you resort to emergency services, be prepared for an ordeal: expect to spend a minimum of eight hours sitting on a bench before receiving any medical attention!!! This is the reality of healthcare in the UK today 🫶 NHS🧐

Terrible service and unprofessional medical staff
If I could have rated it lower, I would have given zero stars due to the staff's disrespectful and dismissive attitude. They make you feel like an unwelcome burden, as if you're begging for a favor. I endured a month-long wait for my blood test and scanning results, and only after making three phone calls did they claim they couldn't locate my records. An absolutely terrible and frustrating ordeal.

Frustrating nhs experience with endless waiting times
Absolutely terrible service. I've been futilely attempting to secure a medical appointment for an extended period. The National Health Service is completely dysfunctional. Additional note: The situation remains as dire as ever. Moreover, I discovered their Wednesday half-day schedule only after wasting half an hour waiting on hold during a phone call.

Worst medical practice ever avoid at all costs
What an absolute farce of a healthcare facility that everyone should steer clear of. Completely unreliable and unprofessional, this place deserves to be shut down immediately. I scheduled a telephone consultation weeks ago, and guess what? No one bothered to call me back. When I followed up, they claimed I never made the appointment, despite having a recorded confirmation. How can anyone possibly entrust their well-being to such careless and incompetent individuals? My advice is simple: STAY AWAY from this medical practice at all costs.

Frustrating wait and lack of medical access
Acting as an advocate for my aging companion who lacks internet access. The first person in line consumed 10 minutes of waiting time, which is notably quicker than previous experiences where the third person has endured waits approaching 50 minutes. Upon requesting a consultation with a physician, we were informed that no appointments are accessible until April. The current date is 14/3/24.
