Stretched but they do their best

It's a general practice like many others in the NHS, operating with limited resources but making a genuine effort despite the constraints. I have no complaints about my experience there.

Rushed call after a week of waiting

Had a telephone consultation today following a week-long wait for the appointment. The conversation lasted approximately 15 seconds before I was asked to get straight to the point. I required around 30 seconds to provide context for my concerns, but this wasn't permitted. When I attempted to continue explaining, I was again directed to simply state my question. I mentioned that whilst I understand the professional role, I felt I needed a moment to properly convey my situation, but it became apparent that continuing would be unproductive, so I suggested we end the call there. It would be beneficial if there were more opportunity for patients to fully articulate their concerns, though this doesn't appear to be the current approach.

All members of the medical team, nursing staff, and administrative personnel provide excellent care and demonstrate a strong commitment to their work.

Phone queue wasn't too bad here

Outstanding healthcare facility. The phone waiting list was manageable at around 8 callers. Multiple appointment options are available including face-to-face consultations and remote consultations. All clinical staff members are highly competent and professional. Care standards have consistently been maintained throughout challenging periods.

Reception wouldn't email the sick note

Had an appointment today and received a sick note which the GP sent to my phone, but I was unable to open it. I went to reception and explained the situation, and they decided to print it off even though I had requested it be sent by email instead. I'm unable to return to collect it due to my current mobility limitations following a recent incident.

Impossible to book appointments during work hours

It has been a nightmare attempting to secure an appointment with my preferred clinician. The process has been equally frustrating when trying to book with other members of the practice. As someone who works during the day, it is difficult to make or receive phone calls unless it is genuinely urgent. I have been experiencing recurring health concerns and stomach issues, but the current appointment system makes it uncomfortable to discuss these matters when privacy cannot be guaranteed.
