Feedback reveals a stark divide between clinical care quality and administrative service delivery. When patients successfully access appointments, they consistently report attentive, compassionate doctors and thorough consultations that exceed expectations. However, appointment access remains the dominant concern across reviews, with patients describing lengthy phone wait times, dysfunctional online booking systems, and unresponsive reception staff. Many report spending over an hour on hold only to be disconnected, facing delays of several days for appointment responses, or being redirected between systems without resolution. Communication failures extend beyond booking, with patients experiencing broken administrative processes, missing medical records, and lack of follow-up on promised callbacks.
Registration and administrative inefficiency compound these issues, with some patients reporting repeated removal from the system and requests for duplicate documentation. Reception experience varies significantly, though negative feedback emphasises poor courtesy and lack of empathy during interactions. Several patients note the practice appears unwilling to accept new patients or accommodate urgent cases, with some redirected to alternative services rather than offered timely appointments.
Despite these systemic barriers, individual clinical staff members receive strong recognition for their attentiveness, expertise, and genuine care. The disconnect between positive clinical experiences and frustrating access creates a situation where patients value the medical care itself but struggle with the fundamental ability to receive it. Improvements to appointment availability, booking processes, communication protocols, and reception courtesy would significantly enhance the overall patient experience.

Poor!
Terrible practice with zero customer support
This practice is utterly broken and dysfunctional. It represents the most abysmal customer service I've encountered in decades of medical treatment. Absolutely EVERYTHING becomes an exhausting confrontation with this practice. Even obtaining a straightforward, single prescription turns into an enormous ordeal. I'm genuinely perplexed how they manage to provide any patient care, given their completely ineffective systems that do nothing except elevate patients' anxiety levels. While I'm attempting to take personal responsibility for my health, the minimal support I occasionally require becomes an epic struggle. The patient experience here is MONUMENTALLY TERRIBLE. Sadly, they're merely symptomatic of a broader healthcare system characterized by overwhelming incompetence and systemic failure, making alternative options seem equally hopeless. The concept of timely healthcare has become a cruel joke. You'd be fortunate to secure an appointment within a month's timeframe. Their communication systems have also spectacularly collapsed - even telephone access is now apparently non-functional. Wonderful.

Frustrating appointments with occasional medical gems
I've been a loyal patient at this practice for over two decades, experiencing numerous visits during that time. When you finally manage to see a Doctor or Health professional, the interaction is generally quite positive (as positive as a doctor's visit can be). Occasionally, I've felt somewhat dismissed, but they are particularly attentive when I bring my children. However, like 99% of other reviewers, the process of securing an appointment is consistently and depressingly awful, and it's only deteriorated. The phone remains unanswered for extended periods, frequently disconnects, and even if you successfully connect (after enduring a patronizing message about staff respect), you might be treated like an actual person - but probably not. Their default assumption seems to be that all patients are time-wasting, abusive individuals deserving contempt, and who are these staff to determine whether your concern merits a Doctor's attention? Are they qualified to make such judgments? Regrettably, the entire reception, phone, and booking system requires a comprehensive overhaul because currently, it's a complete embarrassment that undermines the excellent work performed by the Doctors and Nurses. Yearly update: Incredibly, the situation has worsened. The online appointment portal is non-functional, and not everyone can make an online request at 8 AM. What about those driving to work or preparing children for school? Visiting the surgery (which appears perpetually empty or closed for training/lunch/staff illness) is futile, as receptionists will gleefully inform you to book online - which is impossible. I continually notice signs about 'staff not accepting abuse', which seems peculiar. Most businesses don't need to remind customers not to lose their temper - perhaps Kingswood Surgery should introspectively consider why patients are becoming frustrated? Please, improve.

Terrible service but great doctors save the day
The front desk staff display an astonishing level of ineptitude. Their basic administrative skills are utterly lacking. The practice manager appears so disengaged that her actual role in managing the practice remains a complete enigma. Despite the front-line staff's overwhelming incompetence, the physicians are remarkably compassionate and attentive - with Dr Santos deserving special recognition for exceptional care that truly exceeded expectations. However, the receptionists urgently need replacement with personnel possessing even minimal professional competence - even the simplest requests demand multiple phone calls and endless repetition. Each receptionist provides contradictory information about standard procedures, creating total confusion. If alternative medical practices were available, we would absolutely switch providers without hesitation.

Worst medical experience ever terrible service
Terrible medical practice that completely fails to communicate. They never pick up the phone and provide zero assistance when you need help.

Terrible service and constant last-minute cancellations
Never enough employees, making it impossible to book a slot, and they frequently bail on scheduled visits at the last possible moment 🙃

Terrible doctor causing unnecessary suffering and pain
This is the second time this has occurred with Dr. Sangheeta Sreenivas, and we question her medical credentials. She appears to be an extremely unprofessional physician. My wife has been experiencing pain for a week, and the doctor merely prescribed pain medication while telling her to return after seven days. During the follow-up appointment, when my wife explained that the prescribed painkillers and antibiotics were ineffective and not reducing her infection, the doctor suggested taking stronger pain medication instead of referring her to the appropriate medical department for proper treatment. The doctor incorrectly documented her notes and directed us to Aylesbury Stoke Mandeville hospital's emergency room. We spent five hours waiting, only to be sent back to Wycombe hospital's breast department for the correct treatment. Who will be accountable for such misguided medical advice and inappropriate medication prescription instead of actual medical care?

Terrible healthcare experience at this clinic
Medical staff are completely unhelpful and disregard patient needs. Getting an appointment feels like winning the lottery, and they show zero respect toward elderly patients. Phone calls go unanswered, and they seem uninterested in handling serious medical cases with any sense of urgency or care.

Frustrating and outdated medical appointment system
The process of scheduling an appointment here is utterly ridiculous. I'm accustomed to simply calling, requesting a doctor, and being told which physician is available and when the next slot opens up. It's become such a predictable and frustrating routine that it feels more like a comedy than a serious healthcare interaction.

Terrible service that fails patients completely
Absolutely no value in their front desk service, as they simply direct you to a dysfunctional online link. If I could rate lower than zero stars, I would. After decades of loyalty, I'm actively seeking a new general practitioner. I strongly advise others to do the same.

Compassionate doctor who truly cares about patients
Georgie Dwyer is hands down the most exceptional healthcare professional I've encountered throughout my extensive medical history. Her compassionate approach and genuine empathy truly set her apart. She went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and supported during my consultation. I cannot emphasize enough how highly I endorse her as a medical practitioner!

Worst medical experience ever avoid at all costs
Zero stars would be too generous for this place. Steer clear of their surgical services! From the moment you walk in, you'll encounter nothing but discourteous behavior, starting with the receptionist and extending to the entire medical team. There's a complete absence of empathy or concern for patients.

Frustrating wait and no ecg for pregnant wife
The other reviews weren't misleading. I brought my wife, who was 40 weeks pregnant, to her ECG appointment, and we ended up sitting around for an hour. When we finally inquired about the status, we were informed that the ECG nurse had already departed for the day. The whole situation was completely absurd and nonsensical.
