Worst healthcare experience ever in my life

This general practitioner should not be allowed to practice in the United Kingdom. Due to such practices, the NHS is losing its compassion, goodwill, and connection with patients. From doctors to receptionists, almost no one demonstrates any helpfulness, and their conduct is thoroughly unprofessional. The receptionists seem to believe they are working in some high-security government institution, wielding an excessive amount of authority. It's absolutely revolting. If a rating below zero stars were possible, I would choose it. Disgrace on this entire practice. They barely merit even 1.5 stars out of 5. I'm certain they will attempt to identify me to create further complications, which perfectly illustrates how unprofessional this medical practice truly is.

Amazing doctors

From the moment I submitted my e consult, I was impressed by how quickly Dr. Alam responded. Within 24 hours, I received a thorough and thoughtful reply that addressed all of my concerns. This promptness is particularly commendable considering the upcoming Christmas bank holiday, which can often lead to delays in healthcare services. Dr Alam demonstrated a deep understanding of the pressures associated with potential health deterioration during this busy season. They acknowledged the urgency of my situation and provided clear guidance on how to manage my symptoms effectively while waiting for further treatment options. Not only did Dr. Alam provide timely advice, but they also took immediate action by prescribing medication that would help alleviate my condition. Also looked into couple of previous consultation and acknowledged the need of checking whether the previous symptom has cured or helped me to run some test and attached urine culture along with previous health related blood test to check if i have fully cured. This proactive approach made me feel valued as a patient and reassured me that my health was a priority. Overall, I cannot thank Dr. Alam and Dr Azim (who saw me in the past) enough for their outstanding care and professionalism. Their ability to combine prompt communication with effective treatment truly sets them apart in the field of medicine. I highly recommend their services to anyone seeking medical advice or treatment.

Terrible service and no appointments at this surgery

Very frustrating. I've been attempting to schedule an appointment for two consecutive days between 8:30 am and 9 am without success. Throughout this period, the surgery's phone line remains consistently engaged. When I finally got through, the receptionist was unhelpful and displayed poor communication skills, refusing to listen. She claimed no appointments were available today due to electronic system issues, insisting this was a global problem and that I couldn't get an appointment anywhere, even through 111. Her statements seemed deliberately misleading, essentially pushing me towards A&E. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this surgery, despite their apparently competent doctors. The practice appears oversubscribed, continually registering new patients while existing patients struggle to secure appointments. The receptionist was particularly rigid and unaccommodating. I've made over 100 calls during the designated hour across two days and still cannot book an appointment. I require a doctor's consultation, not an emergency room visit. As a taxpayer who contributes fully to national insurance, I expect quality medical service. I'm seriously considering changing my GP, especially given their poor CQC rating.

This medical facility is an absolute farce. They claim to open at 8:30 AM, and when I try to book at 8:31 AM, I'm met with a perpetually engaged phone line for more than 30 minutes. Once I finally get through, all appointments are mysteriously gone. How did this happen? When did these slots disappear? The whole situation is completely absurd!

Frustrating medical practice with terrible communication

Getting an appointment with this place is a nightmare. Their phone lines are perpetually busy, and reaching a receptionist in the morning is practically impossible due to constant booking calls. Online booking? Forget it. Walking in to schedule something? Not an option. To make matters worse, they consistently run behind schedule, so even if you manage to secure an appointment, you'll likely be waiting around for hours.

Frustrating healthcare experience with unhelpful receptionists

Getting an appointment at this GP surgery is an absolute nightmare. The queue system is completely non-functional, and I've been unable to secure even an emergency consultation since the pandemic began. The front desk staff are shockingly unhelpful and seem devoid of compassion, which is especially problematic when dealing with patients in vulnerable situations. While the doctors themselves are excellent, the fundamental barrier is the near-impossible task of actually getting an appointment with them. The administrative hurdles are so significant that they effectively prevent patients from accessing the medical care they need.

Don't fall ill at this place, they're completely indifferent to patient care. Update after 12 months: I'm still unable to secure a consultation. Every time I phone, the message claims all slots are filled and advises me to retry the next day.

Exceptional service from an amazing receptionist

Jenny at the front desk is truly exceptional. While waiting for my appointment on January 11th, 2024, I spent time in the reception area from 10:10 to 10:55. I observed her interactions with both in-person and telephone customers. Her communication style was incredibly compassionate, her phone etiquette was impeccable, she consistently demonstrated helpfulness, and overall embodied the essence of an outstanding front-line staff member. Kudos to Jenny, and may her colleagues learn from her exemplary approach to customer service.

Worst healthcare experience ever avoid at all costs

If I could award fewer than one star, I absolutely would. Incompetent doesn't even begin to describe them. It takes 221 attempts just to get someone to pick up the phone, and even then, no appointments are available. They exclusively serve those without jobs while completely disregarding working individuals. The vast majority of people don't actually require medical consultation anyway.

Completely unacceptable. My partner arrived with a well-researched medical concern, only to be carelessly brushed off by the so-called 'physician' without even a basic examination. This clinic should be shut down to protect patients from such negligent treatment.
