Rude receptionist dismisses cancer concerns

Attempting to access the clinic for an appointment proved futile. Upon mentioning concerns about potential cancer symptoms to the receptionist, I was abruptly informed, "Nothing can be done. You'll need to call at 8 AM, but don't expect to secure a slot as all appointments are filled within 15 minutes." This level of service is utterly unacceptable. It's perplexing why the receptionist even inquired about symptoms. If I desired an uninformed opinion, I'd simply consult Google. Moreover, as a man in his mid to late forties grappling with cancer worries, having contributed to the NHS throughout my entire working life, a modicum of respect and consideration would have been greatly appreciated. The sole reason for awarding two stars is that the receptionist managed to lift her gaze when addressing me. Otherwise, this experience was entirely disappointing and left much to be desired in terms of patient care and professionalism.

When I attempted to re-register, they flatly refused. This is utterly unacceptable - cervical screening is a fundamental aspect of women's healthcare. I'm left feeling vulnerable and anxious about my health, wondering if there might be an undetected issue. The fact that an NHS-affiliated service would deny such a crucial preventive measure is appalling. This blatant disregard for patient care is inexcusable, and I intend to escalate this matter further. No woman should be denied access to potentially life-saving screenings due to circumstances beyond her control.

Frustrating experience with appointment booking

I phoned yesterday to schedule an appointment for my 4-year-old daughter at 11 AM. They informed me to ring back, which seemed reasonable enough. They assured me that if I called the following day, she'd be seen. So, I dialed today at 8 AM, attempting 15 times before finally getting through at 8:20 AM, only to be told there were no appointments available and to ring I-Heart again. It's utterly ridiculous that you can't be seen. After expressing my frustration, they phoned back half an hour later, suggesting I call 111 and request an appointment with one of their doctors. What nonsense - ringing 111 to secure an appointment with them while I'm already on the phone to their office! I've now called 111 and been told a doctor will ring me back within 6 hours. I'm thoroughly dissatisfied with how they've handled this situation and intend to file a formal complaint. If I could, I'd give this practice zero stars. If you're unwell or have a health concern, good luck getting an appointment with them!
