Difficult to book appointments and get responses
Extended delays when attempting to book appointments without resolution. I have been experiencing bleeding and bowel difficulties with concerning test results. I have needed to seek assistance from other healthcare services as the practice has not provided adequate support with referrals, and I was directed to an incorrect hospital on the day of a scheduled procedure, which caused considerable stress. Multiple referrals were sent to the wrong locations, creating significant confusion. I have not yet received appropriate support for my condition. When I requested to arrange an appointment through the online system, the practice did not complete the booking and required me to submit several requests before receiving a response. Similarly, when I asked for my test results, they were not provided promptly and I had to make repeated requests, which was frustrating and inefficient. I hope the service will improve in the future.

We relocated to the area two months ago and have had an excellent experience with the local surgery. The reception team members are friendly and supportive, and the clinical staff have demonstrated attentiveness and professionalism. I would gladly suggest this practice to others. The coordination with the local pharmacy is also very positive. When prescriptions are requested through the surgery, they are processed promptly and available within a few days, with the pharmacy staff being equally welcoming and efficient.

Online booking system stressful for older patients
Today would have been a four and a half star rating, if it weren't for the requirement to book appointments online. At my age, I struggle with modern technology and find the process quite stressful and anxiety-inducing. The reception staff were extremely helpful, and the clinician I saw was warm, engaging and personable. However, I would ask that consideration be given to older patients who find speaking directly with people less daunting. I even had to telephone the surgery to confirm I had completed the online process correctly, which meant it didn't actually save time for either of us. The surgery itself was immaculate. I have been attending for many years now.
