Long-time patient appreciates efficient booking system

I have been a patient at this practice since its opening and have found it to be an excellent facility that operates very efficiently. The clinical and administrative teams have consistently provided wonderful care and support. I would not consider changing to another practice.

Receptionist's tone was unnecessarily harsh and unwelcoming

I felt obliged to provide a rating to submit this review. I don't actually attend this practice and I'm relieved about that. The reception experience was quite disappointing. As a first-time visitor, I wasn't aware of their specific procedures for submissions. I handed in a prescription for a family member and was informed by reception staff that I should have used the designated drop-off box instead, and this was communicated while they were attending to another matter. There were two staff members present at the desk, though only one was occupied with a call. I remained patient and waited quietly for them to become available, as I would at my own surgery. While the issue itself may seem minor, I found the manner and tone of the interaction to be quite unprofessional.

This is an excellent practice located on the outskirts of the city. The staff members are very welcoming and approachable. The clinicians are extremely supportive and helpful. They were able to identify and address a health concern that had not been resolved at other practices. I feel genuinely pleased that both my spouse and I receive such good care here. I am very grateful to all the doctors and staff members for their dedication and assistance.

Easy to reach and seen quickly

I'm in my sixties and manage several ongoing health concerns, and the practice handles them exceptionally well. The team are wonderful, I'm always able to reach someone by phone and can typically be seen the same day when needed. Excellent service.

Reception staff could be more helpful on calls

The clinical staff member appears to be very competent. However, there have been some recent concerns with one of the reception team members, who does not always seem particularly accommodating and occasionally appears to be laughing during phone conversations. It is unclear whether there has been a misunderstanding or if there are other factors at play. When calling about test results a couple of weeks ago, this same team member arranged a telephone consultation with the clinical staff member. Typically these are scheduled for the same day, but on this occasion the appointment was arranged without a specific date, with only a mention that the call would come through on Friday. When Friday passed without contact, a follow-up call revealed the appointment had actually been scheduled for the following week. These appear to be administrative oversights that raised some questions at the time. The matter has since been resolved.

The staff here are wonderfully courteous and supportive. It's straightforward to secure an appointment at a suitable time, and the care provided is fitting for my needs. The clinicians are keen to talk through different approaches and involve me in decisions about my own healthcare :) After encountering difficulties at previous medical practices, I feel fortunate to have found such an excellent surgery now.
