Unlike previous healthcare providers who seemed indifferent and slow to act, Dr Ainsworth has been wonderfully supportive and calming to interact with. Frustrated with LHGP's Repeated Administrative Errors

As a disabled patient, I was a long-time member of LHGP, but ultimately had to depart due to persistent uncertainties. Dr. Rob Seal was genuinely excellent, which I want to emphasize. However, I primarily interacted with him because of numerous problems with other practice physicians. Their administrative errors were consistent and frustrating - for instance, repeatedly failing to mark me as disabled and prioritized for COVID vaccines. I found myself constantly pursuing resolution and became completely disheartened by their operational approach. This included disturbing experiences like an appointment where a doctor attempted to aggressively push additional medication within moments of my arrival and provided misleading medical claims (such as asserting cannabis caused 99% of schizophrenia cases in the UK). For an extended period, they also maintained a reception staff seemingly unable to manage basic front desk technologies like email systems. While some doctors clearly demonstrate genuine care, the overall systemic failures toward patients compel me to provide this low rating. My sincere hope is that they can improve their practices moving forward.

The reception team is welcoming, the nursing staff are exceptional (particularly during challenging infant vaccination appointments), and the doctors demonstrate genuine compassion. I frequently worry about potentially burdening GPs during these challenging times, but they consistently provide reassurance and understanding when I'm concerned about my child's health, actively encouraging me to return if I have any lingering worries or uncertainties about their wellbeing.

Quick Care When My Son Was Sick

What a delightful change. We switched to this medical center around 2-3 years back following a terrible encounter with another practice, and then practically forgot about it since we rarely needed medical attention. Recently, my son fell ill for the first time in 8 years. I called explaining his symptoms, and the receptionist surprisingly offered us an appointment on the same day - something I'd never experienced with the NHS before. Upon arrival, the friendly young man at reception warmly welcomed us and mentioned that their IT system had unfortunately crashed. I thought, these things happen. We waited a bit longer than our scheduled time. Eventually, a doctor emerged and invited us in, saying he'd noticed we'd been waiting and didn't want to keep us waiting any further. We were finished within half an hour, having been treated with nothing but kindness, respect, and utmost professionalism. Undoubtedly the best GP practice I've encountered in years.
