Terrible service leaving patients frustrated and hopeless

Receptionist displays constant irritation and hostility. Absolutely terrible service experience, with ongoing delays in securing urology and physiotherapy consultations, receiving nothing but postponement notices, apologies, and justifications. I'm in a complete state of despair and seriously considering relocating to escape this frustrating situation.

Dumbo ears and drama at the reception desk

In response to a previous review by Said Khan. It seems you've got some extraordinary hearing abilities or an unhealthy interest in eavesdropping on private conversations. As I recall, there's a designated waiting line at the reception desk specifically to prevent overhearing other patients' discussions. Clearly, your oversized ears were working overtime that day! You haven't actually commented on your own treatment, which is quite peculiar. Instead, you're more focused on documenting someone else's experience. I suspect you might have been part of the couple in question! Perhaps you should try working at reception, where employees endure daily threats and verbal abuse! Having witnessed this firsthand, the staff member you criticize consistently demonstrates respect towards patients. If a vote were taken, I'm confident the feedback would lean more positive than negative. The employee in question, the woman with tattoos, has dedicated over a decade to this medical practice. If you feel so strongly, why haven't you filed an official complaint? I'm certain they could easily verify your position using their CCTV system, especially with your apparently superhuman listening skills! This review appears to be nothing more than a second-hand account, written without any genuine substance or merit!

Unprofessional and rude receptionist at leavale clinic

Have any of you encountered the shocking unprofessionalism of the receptionist at Leavale Clinic Liverpool Road/Mersey Place? The tattooed brown woman consistently displays appalling customer service. Recently, I witnessed her deliberately antagonizing patients at the front desk. A couple was seeking consultation notes as instructed by their doctor, but she aggressively refused to help. When the patient politely requested confirmation from the doctor, the receptionist loudly proclaimed the doctor was in India, dismissing their request. The patient tried explaining she was following the doctor's instructions, but the receptionist became increasingly hostile. When the husband attempted to mediate, the receptionist escalated the situation, dramatically shouting "how dare you!" The couple remained composed, arguing they had been directed to collect the documents, and the receptionist should contact the doctor if unclear. Ultimately, the receptionist grudgingly provided a form, stating it could take a month to process. It was evident she was intentionally trying to provoke the already distressed patients. After they left, she proceeded to badmouth them to her silent colleague. This is absolutely unacceptable professional conduct. I've observed her mistreating multiple patients, though I acknowledge not all NHS staff behave this way. Such disrespectful treatment is completely unacceptable in a healthcare setting where patients are often vulnerable and seeking help.

Despite my infrequent visits to medical professionals, I can confidently say that both times I've been thoroughly impressed by the doctors' approach. They were incredibly considerate and gave me their full attention without making me feel hurried. Recently, I completed an online questionnaire, and shortly thereafter, I received a prompt response suggesting I schedule an appointment. I successfully secured a slot for today, and upon arrival, the receptionist was equally delightful. She handled each patient with grace and composure, maintaining a consistently pleasant demeanor. Overall, I am thoroughly satisfied with the care and service I have experienced.

Glance around the waiting area... completely vacant. Apparently, they've miraculously resolved all of Luton's medical concerns. Or could it be they've stopped seeing patients altogether? Horrible receptionists ruin my healthcare experience

Despite being a recent patient with this medical practice, having only one appointment in September, today's horrendous and venomous interaction with the receptionists left me emotionally devastated and on the verge of tears. As a result, I will be swiftly transferring to another GP to safeguard my mental well-being, personal dignity, and reputation, due to the blatant, coordinated, and impulsive unprofessional conduct of their front desk staff. When I politely attempted to explain the challenges and technical problems I encountered during online registration, these receptionists accused me of being rude. Previously, I have witnessed them displaying similar disrespectful behaviour towards other patients. I find this situation intolerable, as every patient seeking medical care with this GP must endure the humiliation of insulting remarks from the receptionists guarding the entrance.
