Terrible reception staff with horrible attitude problems

The reception team, particularly Rita, the blonde white woman, displays an incredibly unwelcoming demeanor. Attempting to engage them with a smile feels like interacting with an emotionless surface. The administrative staff (two white women, one from Mauritius, and another white woman upstairs) consistently demonstrate a miserable and antisocial attitude. I've personally witnessed them engaging in unprofessional gossip, openly discussing doctors and patients in a negative manner. Their service level is shockingly subpar - in all my experiences with various medical practices, I've never encountered such profound unprofessionalism. They've been caught fabricating appointment availability, strategically scheduling patients based on personal preference and deliberately misrepresenting doctor schedules. The treatment of patients appears markedly unfair, with clear favoritism evident from my initial registration to the present. The only reason I remain with this surgery is its convenient location and some excellent doctors. While they prohibit filming inside the facility, the receptionists themselves warrant serious investigation. As the primary point of contact, their conduct seems either racially motivated or simply indicative of deep-seated attitude problems. My advice: if you're unhappy in your professional role, consider alternative employment.

Terrible service with endless waiting and unhelpful staff

Never punctual with their appointments. Scheduled for 5:50 PM and still forced to wait at least 30 minutes. Total waiting time with a pre-booked slot is a minimum of 50 minutes... Incredibly sluggish, disgraceful. And their go-to advice is always to take paracetamol.

Worst medical practice ever terrible service

I'm absolutely frustrated with this general practice clinic. They consistently claim no appointment slots are open, telling patients to call back at 2 pm, and when you do, surprise surprise, they still have zero availability. If I could, I'd rate them below zero stars - that's how terrible their scheduling is.

Horrible service from leagrave surgery nightmare

I contacted the surgery and was informed my symptoms were critical, with instructions to call back at 2pm. Upon calling at the specified time, I endured a 16-minute wait before the receptionist answered. The receptionist recalled our earlier conversation and appeared almost gleeful that no appointments were available, suggesting I call back in the morning. I then reached out to NHS 111, who emphasized I required medical attention within 6 hours and advised me to reconnect with the surgery. Leagrave surgery could not have been more obstructive if they had deliberately tried - especially after initially claiming my symptoms were urgent! I ultimately visited NHS Chapel St, waited two hours, and was efficiently assessed by a doctor. The entire process was appalling, subjective, and discourteous, particularly from Leagrave surgery. I now worry whether I've been flagged, given how Leagrave surgery's doctors previously denied my late father an MRI - this despite him being someone who contributed to the system throughout his entire life! I unequivocally recommend changing surgeries. Who wants to be treated by such unprofessional bullies?

Top-notch medical facility in Luton. I've been a patient here for four years, and they consistently prioritize quick appointments with adaptable staff. The doctors are exceptional. My personal top picks include Dr Matta, Dr EMMA, Dr Ralph, and Dr Deeley (who makes a genuine effort to maintain punctual consultations). One drawback: the parking situation is quite challenging.

All physicians at this clinic are pleasant, except for Dr. Tanveer, who comes across as extremely discourteous. Dr. Emma Chacravaty stands out as the top-tier doctor, attentively hearing patients' concerns, providing accurate diagnoses, and demonstrating exceptional care by offering additional support. I'll acknowledge that some front desk staff have an abrasive demeanor - particularly the staff member of Indian descent - though a few are quite friendly. I'm deducting a star due to inconsistent wait times; some days the delay is absurdly extended, while other times appointments proceed punctually or close to schedule.
