Four months of wrong prescriptions and runaround

For four consecutive months, they either dispensed incorrect medication on my recurring prescription or failed to issue it altogether, forcing me to run back and forth between their portal and various pharmacies! To make matters worse, they sent prescriptions to a pharmacy that had closed down, despite me explicitly confirming the correct location both in writing and over the phone. I'm baffled by what's happened! They were once a fantastic medical practice...

During a conversation with Dr A Perrett regarding my mental health concerns, he interrupted and stated, 'It's not the fault of white people if their friend group happens to be all white.' This seemed contradictory given that his profile advertises 'Ethics care' as a specialty. To clarify, I had mentioned wanting to be white, and that comment was what he offered in response 🥲

Lensfield Medical Practice is outstanding. They respond to inquiries remarkably quickly and offer appointments at very convenient times - I've even received same-day slots when needed. It's straightforward to book with your preferred GP to maintain consistency of care, and every team member is courteous and welcoming. Dr Ford especially has been exceptional - he's a real credit to the practice.

GP switched policies right before my appointment

Was directed to adhd360, but then declined to participate in collaborative treatment. Upon investigation, I found out they had altered their shared care policy between the time of my referral and my appointment. I'm extremely frustrated and plan to switch doctors. Not recommended.

I want to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care and assistance that this clinic, particularly Dr A Ng, has provided to me and my loved ones throughout the past year. As recent arrivals in the UK, we've had numerous concerns about both adapting our existing medical conditions and treatments from our home country to the UK system, as well as managing new health problems that have emerged. Dr A Ng has consistently shown tremendous compassion and understanding, and despite his demanding schedule, the clinic has been flexible in accommodating our needs—offering phone consultations when in-person appointments aren't immediately available, or helping us find solutions through the pharmacist or administrative staff. I'm truly grateful for everything!

Dr. Perrett's been my doctor for 30 years

I've been receiving care at this practice for more than three decades. The physicians and nursing staff, particularly Dr. Perrett, are exceptional. In contrast to many other medical offices, scheduling an appointment is straightforward. The triage process works wonderfully. The administrative team consistently goes out of their way to assist patients. I feel genuinely blessed to have this practice as my healthcare provider.

receptionist's eye roll when I called about my prescription

The physicians are adequate. While I'm always assigned different doctors (which seems standard these days), the nursing staff is quite pleasant. However, when I called the receptionist to discuss my prescription refill and explained I'd run out but required an appointment first, she let out an audible "oh my god" under her breath with a dismissive tone, apparently thinking I wouldn't catch it. If your receptionists received training to match the courtesy shown by the rest of your clinical team and dropped the patronizing attitude, this practice would deserve a higher rating. Their conduct wasn't particularly professional.

Dr Waters won't do home visits for COPD

I have experienced extremely poor treatment from Dr Waters, who repeatedly sends me text message reminders to visit the surgery despite knowing that my COPD makes walking difficult. Although the surgery is only 10 minutes away, Dr Waters appears unwilling to conduct home visits instead. My mental health struggles (I have EUPD) are also dismissed by the entire staff, other physicians, and Dr Waters in particular. I strongly advise others to avoid this surgery, as it has been a disappointing experience for me. I considered raising concerns with Tanya, the surgery manager, but she has been disrespectful and unprofessional previously. Additionally, several other doctors have treated me poorly due to my mental health condition. I am deeply dissatisfied with the care provided by LENSFEILD ROAD MEDICAL PRACTICE. I have severe breathing difficulties and rarely leave home due to my condition. My mental health is deteriorating significantly—I experience suicidal thoughts daily—yet I receive no support whatsoever. The doctors have consistently failed to help me, and I feel utterly let down and hopeless. Glen L IMPORTANT UPDATE 7th OCTOBER 2025 I continue to experience manipulation by the doctors at LENSFEILD ROAD MEDICAL PRACTICE. DR ANDREW PERRETT and DR ELIZABETH WOODROFFE have now added themselves to the list of dishonest and incompetent medical professionals at this practice. They repeatedly claim to have contacted external organisations and developed support plans for me, but nothing appears in my medical records. Even after speaking with Dr Perrett directly, he cannot explain what these supposed plans actually are. I believe I am being systematically deceived. This review and update are intended to warn others to avoid this medical practice entirely.

However, they have now aligned with other clinics to withdraw shared care agreements for essential medications that have lengthy waiting lists spanning years and would financially devastate the most vulnerable patients who struggle with money management. This represents a form of protest that prioritizes other concerns over patient wellbeing and constitutes a serious failure in their professional responsibilities.
