I have consulted with several clinicians at this surgery and found them to be competent and professional. Having previously registered with other practices in different locations, I can say this one compares favourably. Overall, I would rate this surgery positively.

Reception refused temporary patient injection request

My wife and I are away on a four-week holiday, and she requires regular injections that are due during our time away. The previous week, she contacted the surgery to enquire about temporary patient registration, and was told this would be possible. However, when we attended on Friday morning, we were informed that they were unable to provide the treatment. We found this response disappointing and frustrating, particularly given that the procedure would have taken only a few minutes to complete. My wife has always been someone who prioritises helping others, and we were hoping the practice would have shown similar consideration in this instance.

Receptionist was helpful but consultation disappointing

Would be 5 stars but I had a disappointing experience with one of the clinicians at this practice.

Phone lines consistently difficult to reach

I've been attempting to contact the practice since early this morning and finally managed to get through after waiting nearly an hour, only to have someone answer and immediately disconnect the call. It's frustrating when people are trying to reach the surgery for genuine reasons and the phone is simply hung up without explanation. If the team were busy, a simple request to hold the line would have been appreciated and I would have been happy to wait. Now I'm trying again but keep getting the engaged tone. The phone service feels quite ineffective at the moment.

Throughout the various periods of my time here, I have experienced consistent care from successive clinicians who have always demonstrated attentiveness and compassion, taking time to listen to my concerns. The practice has been supported by a highly professional nursing team throughout. I am grateful to all involved in my care. The standard of service has been exceptional and remains unmatched.

Helpful receptionists made booking straightforward

The receptionists are wonderful and provide excellent support. I have a recorded doctor assigned to me, though I have also seen other practitioners who are equally lovely and helpful. I would definitely recommend this practice.
