I had a red eye last year and was promptly attended to after submitting the online consultation. I immediatley recieved a referral to Moorfields, and then seen online by a specialist, before an inperson consultation the next day. The promptness was very impressive and the arrangement by Litchfield Grove staff with Moorfields went smoothly. Since then, I've also had blood tests done at the practice. The reception and clinical staff were all friendly, and efficient in putting me into an available appointment slot and prompt in making my results available to me. For anyone in the Finchley area, I highly recommend this practice.

An online consultation with a specialist followed almost immediately, and I was seen in person at Moorfields the very next day. Discriminated Against and Malicious Falsehoods

I have had an extremely distressing experience dealing with the reception manager and practice manager at this surgery. After raising a formal complaint nearly nine months ago, I finally received a response that was not only significantly delayed but also filled with false and defamatory claims and does not address in full the issues raised. They probably only responded as the Parliamentary Health Ombudsman had to send them two intervention letters and had I not got them involved I imagine they still would not have replied to this day. What’s more concerning is that the response tried to shift the entire blame onto me instead of addressing the issues I raised which included discrimination I received and breaches of the Equality Act. Numerous claims in their letter are directly contradicted by my medical records, which I have reviewed in full. There are several inaccuracies and omissions that I believe are misleading and unacceptable. Additionally, a key letter outlining the issues in detail was sent by recorded delivery, yet it was ignored entirely in their response. This has only added to the frustration, as it’s clear they have not taken the complaint process seriously. They have ignored their own breaches of the law and made false and injurious statements to justify their negligent and discriminatory behaviour. I will now be taking matters further in light of this. It’s also apparent from other reviews that I am not the only one who has experienced these kinds of problems. If you’ve had a similar experience with this surgery, you may understand how disheartening this can be.

Terrible service with no way to communicate concerns

I've downgraded my previous 4-star review from four years ago to a single star, and here's why. When I reported severe pain at an 8 out of 10 level, I was denied a GP appointment and only offered a conversation with a receptionist. Recently, I was supposedly given a GP appointment, but upon attempting to book via the provided link, I was told no appointments were available. The most infuriating part is the complete lack of communication channels to explain my situation. To proceed, I must either create a new eConsult about the previous eConsult or endure endless phone waiting with messages suggesting I hang up if I'm dying. It genuinely feels like they're hoping patients become so critically ill that they become another healthcare system's responsibility. This isn't a one-day issue, but a pattern observed over several months. While I recognize the need to manage GP time efficiently, the current process has become fundamentally broken and ineffective.

Unprofessional and disrespectful medical practice nightmare

This medical facility was an absolute nightmare. I encountered numerous problematic staff interactions, with multiple employees becoming verbally aggressive towards me. The situation escalated to the point where the practice manager dismissively told me I was "too difficult" and that they couldn't handle my case. As a final insult, they refused to provide my essential ADHD medication, suggesting I should go directly to the ADHD clinic instead of addressing my immediate medical needs.

This medical practice merits absolute rock-bottom ratings. Their service quality is abysmal. Frontline administrative personnel consistently demonstrate unhelpfulness and routinely dismiss appointment requests due to inadequate comprehension. Sharing medical findings is also challenging, requiring patients to navigate complex formal channels to obtain information. I endured an untreated condition for more than eight weeks and remain in limbo. Given the intensity of my discomfort, I was compelled to seek costly private medical intervention. I strongly advise potential patients to steer clear of this GP surgery and explore alternative healthcare providers. I am definitely in the process of finding a new practice.

Standards have deteriorated.

I have been been patient for over 25 years and I have never experienced such poor management in this practice since Dr Arnold left. Unfortunately we go there when we are unwell and are looking for support, I have been met with uncaring staff who are rude and unwilling to help; who hold grudges and are biased and treat you as such. Appalling that a practice can get away with this behaviour.

Practice manager - Kuldip Singh complaint

Cannot believe I’m writing this review to only see other reviews about this practice manager… and I’m not even surprised. Awful experience with Kuldip Signh who has performed medical negligence and is in breach of lawful care. I’ve been a patient at this GP for 20+ years and this experience has been shocking which I will not be going into detail on this review. My new GP the past few months has been so much better and compassionate - they are in complete shock at the things Kuldip has said and her actions. I’m not sure how her behaviour is being allowed be Dr Alena Chong?? I hate leaving negative reviews but I don’t believe this person should be working in care and do not want what happened to me to happen to anyone else. She is taking advantage of vulnerable patients. I had a good experience with Dr Alena Chong until this practice manager started and sadly the GP has gone downhill. The surgery was great when Dr Arnold was running it. I absolutely understand how stretched the nhs is and everyone is trying to do their best. I can empathise with any faults with the gp and the systems have. However, I’m so disheartened that Kuldip is in a position of care and this is not something I can empathise with at all - this is dangerous for vulnerable patience and she needs to be removed.

Terrible medical practice with zero compassion

The most appalling healthcare encounter I've encountered. The practice manager displays zero empathy, behaving rudely and obstructively. Dr Patel - the temporary physician - is delightful, but being a locum means he's not consistently available, and no permanent doctors seem accessible for appointments. Their treatment of my family has been absolutely atrocious. Despite never previously criticizing the NHS, I've been compelled to escalate this to independent review bodies as no alternative exists. After two decades of exceptional service at this surgery, the new management has completely decimated its reputation. I am actively seeking alternative medical providers. I would even go so far as to declare we've suffered medical neglect and psychological manipulation - with lost referrals, misdiagnoses, and our concerns repeatedly dismissed until privately confirmed by other medical professionals. The entire situation is utterly unbelievable.

I appreciate the doctor's suggestion to consult a dentist while I'm enduring unbearable pain, unable to sleep or eat, with a flight looming in just 24 hours (making a dental appointment impossible).
