Feedback on this GP practice reveals a deeply divided patient experience, with significant operational challenges overshadowing pockets of clinical excellence. The most consistent concern across reviews is appointment access, with patients reporting difficulty reaching the practice by phone, booking system failures, and extended waiting times for consultations. The online booking platform and Ask My GP service are frequently described as unreliable and prone to crashing, leaving patients unable to secure timely appointments. Reception experience emerges as a particular pain point, with multiple accounts of unhelpful, dismissive, or discourteous interactions that compound frustration with access difficulties.
Communication breakdowns are widely reported, including delayed callbacks, prescription processing failures, and poor coordination between the practice and pharmacy. Several patients describe feeling unsupported when seeking urgent care or follow-up on medical concerns. However, individual doctors and nursing staff receive consistent praise for compassionate care, attentiveness, and professional expertise. Patients highlight specific clinicians who demonstrated genuine concern for their wellbeing and provided thorough, supportive consultations.
The contrast between clinical care quality and systemic service failures suggests that while medical professionals at the practice are capable and caring, organisational issues around appointment availability, booking systems, reception courtesy, and communication responsiveness require urgent attention to improve the overall patient experience.

Navigating this website is a total nightmare
I'm completely baffled by the total lack of guidance on how to register for Accurx's patient appointment system. It seems impossible to navigate this platform successfully. The website is utterly useless. Hands down the most frustrating website I've encountered. The phone instructions mention CRAPACCURX, but the website is completely non-functional. It's ABSOLUTELY the most incompetent GP and online service imaginable. I cannot comprehend how they expect anyone to actually use this system.

Great!
Fantastic care and service from dr chandler
Dr. Chandler is truly outstanding, and I wanted to revise my previous comments. Not only has the physician been remarkable, but the front desk staff has also significantly enhanced their approach to patient interactions and service.

Terrible medical service that left me completely frustrated
I cannot believe how terrible this surgical practice is! Their communication is abysmal - they'll leave a voicemail and then when you attempt to return the call, it takes three entire days to reach anyone. And even when you finally connect, you get disconnected mid-conversation! Their appointment management is equally frustrating. If they need to reschedule, they simply cancel your slot, book a new date, and leave a message. Then when you call back to explain your availability issues, they act completely bewildered. Apparently, they assume patients have nothing but free time. The nursing staff are unprofessional, making presumptions about patients without actually asking any meaningful questions. They ramble on without listening. I'm absolutely fed up with their incompetence. I wish they would bring Dr. Kaur back from retirement! Things ran so much more smoothly under her leadership.

Frustrating healthcare experience with unhelpful staff
They dodge communication and redirect patients to the pharmacy when conditions deteriorate. When attempting to schedule a doctor's consultation, the practice seems intent on evading direct interaction and minimizing patient engagement.

Worst gp practice ever with terrible patient care
WorstGP imaginable. I'm attempting to relocate after being transferred here due to my previous practice shutting down. Getting an appointment is practically impossible. They insist on using the app for booking if you have a smartphone. I downloaded the app and logged in. At 10:45am the app malfunctions, so I phone. After 20 minutes on hold, I'm told no appointments are available and must log in at 8am the next day. Same scenario unfolds - at 8:15am the app crashes, another lengthy phone call reveals no appointments again. Even if I could secure one, it would only be a telephone consultation, not an in-person doctor visit. It's incredibly frustrating. I'm defeated. The stress is overwhelming. I was also referred to the menopause clinic in April but heard nothing. When I raised this, I was advised to chase the referral myself, with no guidance on who to contact. This GP practice appears completely indifferent to patient needs. I'll have to seek a transfer. UPDATE 2 years later, still appalling. After days of trying to get an appointment, I'm asked to visit the surgery. A medical student examines me, claiming my ear infection will resolve naturally. A qualified doctor then discovers an actual issue and orders a prescription to be sent downstairs to the pharmacy. At the pharmacy, they claim no prescription received from the GP. The GP then states it was sent to a pharmacy 45 miles away? I'm instructed to contact the other pharmacy and arrange transfer. Upon calling, they insist the prescription was sent to the local pharmacy downstairs. Two hours of circular confusion later, the surgery's pharmacy says they'll order it but can provide no timeline. I'm convinced the surgery and pharmacy are competing for the title of most incompetent - it's an extremely close contest.

Compassionate doctor who truly cares about patient
Met with Dr. Beaumont during my recent visit and found her to be warm and personable. She conducted a comprehensive examination, provided helpful guidance, and ensured I was aware of upcoming medical appointments I should schedule.

Terrible medical practice with zero patient care
I felt compelled to return and update my review with recent experiences. In May, I visited the surgery to collect a prescription, but they couldn't locate it after a 20-minute wait. They suggested I return the next day. Upon my return, the prescription wasn't ready and wasn't signed by a doctor, causing another 5-minute delay. In August, I submitted an online form at 8am to see a doctor. I received a text directing me to a pharmacist at Ayres Rd, but when my wife called, they knew nothing about it. At Limelight, I demanded to see the practice manager. I explained my symptoms and requested an immediate prescription, but was told the earliest appointment was in two weeks. When I explained I was traveling, they simply suggested I visit a walk-in center. Frustrated, I went to Trafford General and waited 3 hours but ultimately got the help I needed. On Monday, September 11th, I woke with breathing difficulties. I contacted Limelight at 8am, received a text saying they'd respond in two days, and was then sent an online questionnaire. I refused, wanting a direct doctor consultation. The receptionist called my wife, warning that not completing the form could delay my process. I received an ultimatum text giving me until 5pm to comply or have my request canceled. Consequently, I registered with another GP practice. I called my new GP on Friday, received a callback Saturday, and had my prescription sent immediately. What a stark difference. I genuinely feel sorry for Limelight's patients and strongly advise everyone to seek alternative care. It's an absolute nightmare with incredibly unprofessional staff. Utterly unacceptable service. I attempted to book a doctor's appointment online following a road traffic accident on Monday, March 13th, only to be told someone would contact me on Thursday, March 16th - three days later while suffering in agony and pain. This forced me to take four days off work, despite booking precisely at 8am. Where have all the Monday morning and evening appointments disappeared? Completely shocking service.

Terrible medical practice that endangers patient health
This medical facility should be legally prohibited from continuing operations. They lack the competence to manage a healthcare center where patients seek treatment for recovery. When medication requiring a doctor's prescription, such as antibiotics, is needed, they simply redirect you to a pharmacy. They consistently obstruct patients from receiving medical attention, even when seriously ill and requiring immediate examination. Their strategy appears designed to deliberately avoid patient care, routinely redirecting individuals to hospitals or pharmacies, effectively wasting time and potentially exacerbating medical conditions. They are essentially masquerading as a genuine general practitioner's surgery without delivering authentic medical service. Do not be deceived - maintain distance if you genuinely prioritize your health. Instead, locate a reputable, legally compliant practice that demonstrates authentic commitment to patient welfare.

Convenient local clinic with friendly staff and quick service
The location and amenities are impressive, and it's never too packed during my visits. There might be a slight wait, but that's pretty standard everywhere. The personnel, from the front desk to the doctors, have consistently been friendly. There's a pharmacy on the lower level, though they only take cash, which isn't ideal but I've adapted. Overall, I'm satisfied with the clinic, mainly because of its convenient proximity to my home.

Terrible doctors left me seeking private healthcare help
Doctors display a condescending attitude and seem disinterested in comprehending patients' concerns. They act as though providing medical assistance is a burdensome chore. Their approach to handling hospital correspondence appears hesitant, suggesting a lack of professional confidence. It's unclear what their actual responsibilities entail beyond causing patient anxiety. Due to the practice's uncooperative stance, I was compelled to seek a private prescriber for medication. After obtaining the private prescription, my health significantly improved. The doctors' performance can only be described as thoroughly inadequate and unprofessional.

Terrible healthcare experience at local medical practice
Absolutely appalling medical care from this general practice. I've been desperately trying to secure an urgent consultation for a month, and they arbitrarily altered my appointment without even consulting me. The front desk staff are discourteous and unhelpful. I strongly advise anyone to avoid this healthcare provider at all costs.

Dangerous delay nearly cost me my life
I attempted to schedule an urgent consultation with Doctor Grant but was redirected to a triage process. I explained my critical health concerns, including constant nausea after eating or drinking and intense abdominal discomfort, yet received no response. During the subsequent weekend, I was rushed to the hospital via emergency services after calling 999, diagnosed with a ruptured appendix and was critically ill - potentially facing a life-threatening situation. Despite this serious medical event, I still haven't secured a doctor's appointment. The administrative incompetence of this medical practice is so egregious that continuing as a patient seems inadvisable. I am sharing this experience to highlight systemic failures within the NHS.

Great doctor but terrible front desk service
The medical facility has a single exceptional physician and an outstanding in-house pharmacy, yet the primary drawback is the unprofessional front desk staff member who displays consistently inappropriate interpersonal skills and seems entirely unsuited to customer service roles. Her apparent lack of professional training is evident in her interactions. I've already filed a formal complaint regarding her conduct and remain without any resolution or acknowledgment.

Frustrating online system fails patients repeatedly
Securing an appointment at this practice is incredibly challenging. The AskMyGP platform frequently crashes shortly after 8:00, which is incredibly frustrating. I've spent three days attempting to book an appointment, only to have the system fail while I'm filling out the necessary questions. This situation is unacceptable. Having less than a 10-minute window to access medical services is ridiculous. The system's unreliability reflects a broader issue of indifference within the NHS, demonstrating a profound lack of concern for patient needs. Something must be done to address these persistent technical problems that prevent patients from receiving timely medical attention.
