Medical staff are competent, but their phone system is utterly ridiculous. I was unceremoniously booted from the queue after reaching the front, and the sole front desk employee displays an abysmal attitude. I think you understand exactly who I'm referring to.

These medical professionals are an absolute disaster! The receptionist acts like she's got some superior medical knowledge, speaking to patients in the most condescending manner imaginable. Despite their official closing time being 6:30 PM, when I was referred by 111 at 5:15, they completely refused to help, claiming all the doctors had already left. What a complete and utter mess of a healthcare practice!

After a long period of frustration, I'm genuinely thrilled with my current general practitioner! Typically, I prefer self-diagnosis and steer clear of redundant medical visits. However, given some recent health concerns, I've been consistently accommodated with appointments. Each of the three doctors I've consulted has demonstrated genuine care, actively listening and working diligently to connect me with appropriate specialist care. The clinic's scheduling is impressively efficient, with wait times rarely exceeding 15 minutes - a stark contrast to my past healthcare experiences. :)

I submitted a form early this morning (Monday, July 15th) at 9am, and remarkably, within just 30 minutes, I was presented with three different appointment slot options for today. Everything went smoothly, and I've been successfully referred to a specialist physician for further treatment. Excellent experience overall.

Unprofessional doctor dismisses serious medical concerns

I rarely attempt to secure a medical appointment due to typical unavailability, and we typically only seek medical care when antibiotics are necessary. Yesterday, against my instincts, I tried booking an appointment to avoid taking all my children to the hospital walk-in, and surprisingly, I got a slot a few hours later. I met a male Doctor (whose name starts with M) who was running 15 minutes behind schedule, which wasn't an issue. He examined my son and suggested a potential chest infection. Concerned about his previous medical history, I inquired about his vital signs, referencing his near-fatal 2020 Sepsis incident from a misdiagnosed burst appendix. The Doctor responded, 'Kindly stop mentioning the sepsis, as it occurred in 2020 and is irrelevant.' From my perspective, the reference was entirely pertinent, and his response was inappropriate, given my genuine worry about my son's skin color, breathing, and energy levels. When I asked about his weight—considering his previous severe underweight condition—the Doctor abruptly stated he had no time due to other patients and suggested making another appointment. When I mentioned contacting his dietician, the Doctor contradicted himself, saying I should consult a Doctor first. Utterly bewildered, I left the practice. Neither myself nor my seven children will ever return—I'd sooner wait eight hours at Russell Hall!

As his condition worsened, the general practitioner visited my parents' home at their request, and following his passing, the doctor has continued to check on my mother, even sending a heartfelt condolence card. Based on their treatment of my Dad, which was nothing short of exceptional, I can only offer my deepest gratitude.

Despite experiencing debilitating pain for three days that has significantly impacted my daily functioning, I was offered an appointment four weeks in the future! When I requested to consult an alternative physician, I was summarily dismissed. Their approach is shockingly insensitive and devoid of compassion. This practice fundamentally fails to provide patient-centered care and urgently requires comprehensive review. As someone with professional training in health and social care, I can confidently state that their conduct falls far below acceptable professional standards. The numerous negative reviews corroborate my assessment that this GP is systematically failing its patients.
