Patient feedback reveals a mixed experience across the practice, with significant variation in service quality. Appointment availability and booking convenience emerge as notable strengths, with several patients reporting effortless scheduling and same-day access. Reception experience is similarly polarised, with some patients praising courteous and welcoming staff who demonstrate genuine care, whilst others describe unprofessional conduct and dismissive attitudes.
Communication and responsiveness present recurring concerns, particularly regarding appointment confirmations, prescription management, and follow-up support. Care quality and professional competence are inconsistently reported, with patients noting both exceptional clinical care and instances where concerns were dismissed or inadequately addressed. Waiting times and access difficulties feature prominently in negative feedback, with some patients experiencing extended delays or difficulty reaching the practice by phone. The practice appears to benefit from individual staff members who deliver outstanding service, though this excellence is not uniformly reflected across all team members or departments.

Bad!
Terrible service from a dysfunctional medical practice
This medical practice is a complete disappointment, requiring a comprehensive investigation and immediate staff dismissal. While it's commendable that ghost patients are being attended to, the actual paying patients are being completely neglected. The GP rating is deliberately obscured unless specifically searched, which clearly indicates their awareness of their substandard service. They're perpetually fully booked before 8AM and consistently fail to answer phone calls, instead directing patients to an online form that doesn't even function without a live link. When patients attempt to communicate via email, they're met with hostility, despite email being a designated communication channel. To any potential defensive response: the front desk staff are incompetent and should be replaced. There's absolutely no justification for having 4+ staff members for such a simple role, who seemingly spend their entire day engaging in idle conversation instead of providing proper patient support.

Poor!
Terrible healthcare with zero customer service commitment
The customer service here is absolutely abysmal. The front desk staff are completely ineffective, offering nothing but empty bureaucratic responses like "it's our protocol" or "we'll pass that on" while accomplishing absolutely nothing. Securing an appointment or getting any meaningful guidance is utterly impossible. They repeatedly promise "someone will call you back" - a promise that predictably goes unfulfilled. UPDATE After formally lodging a complaint, I received an apology from the practice, though in reality, it should never have escalated to that point. As a result, I've reluctantly upgraded my rating from 1 to 2 stars, but I remain deeply skeptical and unimpressed.

Exceptional doctor with compassionate care
If you have the chance to consult Dr. Thomas Garrett-Kirk, I highly recommend him. He's an exceptional physician. I personally had the opportunity to see him at Netherton and was thoroughly impressed.

Dangerous medical practice with serious health consequences
Utterly unacceptable medical care. The syringing procedure in August potentially caused permanent hearing damage. The audiologist in Birmingham was completely shocked by the prolonged delay in addressing my concerns. Moreover, I was unnecessarily prescribed Ramipril, which likely led to my development of Hyponatremia or an associated infection. Furthermore, it is entirely inappropriate to summon my son to the surgery, making presumptuous assumptions about my familial relationships and even inquiring about my mobile phone model.

Amazing service with a fantastic new receptionist
Both my partner and I have been long-standing patients at this practice, consistently receiving exceptional care from the entire staff. We want to highlight a recent addition to the team, Sana at the reception desk, who has been outstanding in her customer service. Whether communicating via telephone or in person, she has been incredibly helpful, addressing any concerns with remarkable politeness and genuine kindness. We believe Sana truly merits acknowledgment for her impressive work ethic and remarkable interpersonal abilities. Warm Regards

Worst healthcare experience ever terrible gp service
I've encountered the most incompetent general practitioner imaginable. No matter what symptoms I describe, they consistently claim no appointments are available. When I reported a 40-degree fever lasting three days due to tonsillitis, they flatly refused to prescribe antibiotics. Ironically, the hospital immediately provided the necessary medication. Another instance involved me explaining a two-week ongoing health issue, only to be dismissively told to visit the pharmacy independently because the doctor's next available appointment was weeks away. This is an absolutely terrible experience that demonstrates a complete disregard for patient care and potentially endangers people's health.

Doctors failed me but self-research saved back
I experienced severe back problems and consulted a physician who essentially told me this condition would be a permanent part of my life. He offered no guidance, not even recommending any physical therapy or exercises. Taking matters into my own hands, I conducted independent research, and now I've successfully managed my condition without their intervention.

Terrible service and no patient consideration
I've been attempting to secure an appointment at Netherton for a week, but their only solution is a practice located on the opposite side of Dudley. If I had wanted a doctor in Dudley, I would have initially registered there. I'm seriously considering switching my GP. Based on my experience, it appears they have little concern for their patients' needs.

Great service despite busy medical practice
I've consistently had positive interactions with both the medical staff and administrative team, who have been supportive and accommodating. Like many healthcare providers today, they manage a high patient volume which can impact scheduling wait times, but they make genuine efforts to assist patients. Their online communication platform, including forms and messaging, is an additional convenient resource that enhances the overall patient experience.

Terrible doctors ruined my healthcare experience
Medical professionals at this practice come across as dismissive and condescending, treating patients as if their concerns are trivial and unimportant. While the front desk staff remain consistently courteous and welcoming, the overall attitude of the doctors has left me feeling belittled and disrespected. As a result, I am seriously considering finding a new healthcare provider who will treat me with more empathy and understanding.

Terrible healthcare with zero support for patients
I cannot endorse this medical practice, having been their patient for over a decade without receiving any meaningful assistance. Attempting to obtain a complaint form is futile, and their phone support is equally unresponsive. Despite suffering from a long-standing respiratory condition and visibly struggling to breathe, they consistently dismiss my symptoms, seemingly believing I'm fabricating my illness. One particular physician imposes his personal beliefs on patients and becomes hostile when those beliefs are challenged, often threatening to involve social services to deflect from their own professional shortcomings. In response to potential counterarguments, a written complaint form is crucial as it provides documented evidence, unlike verbal communications which can be easily disregarded or forgotten.

Solid healthcare with minor communication hiccups
I've been a patient at Links for nearly a decade and have consistently found their service to be excellent. While they might not tackle mental health concerns head-on, they are diligent about ensuring patients get appropriate referrals. Though some have critiqued the reception staff, I recognize that they're human and occasionally have off days. In reality, the majority of the team is outstanding, with Laurie being particularly noteworthy. Regarding Dr. Guppter, his thick accent can be challenging, so I simply request not to be scheduled with him. My primary frustration remains the lack of in-person consultation opportunities.

Great healthcare service during challenging times
We appreciate this medical facility, particularly given the present circumstances. The front desk personnel are accommodating and welcoming, the physicians demonstrate genuine commitment to patient care, and the nursing staff are truly outstanding. Terrible healthcare experience with unprofessional staff
Completely useless experience with terrible customer service. The staff clearly lacks the skills to properly care for patients. They would be better suited to garbage collection than managing a medical facility. Dr. Gupta, in particular, displays an extremely unpleasant and unprofessional demeanor.

Dr bramble is the ultimate healthcare hero
I feel compelled to update my previous review after reading some negative feedback. I must emphasize that if you're considering this practice, you absolutely must request Dr. Richard Bramble. He is, without doubt, the most exceptional physician one could hope to encounter. Due to his outstanding reputation, he understandably has a very busy schedule. Today, I was also fortunate to interact with an incredible receptionist named Page, who was incredibly supportive and went above and beyond to assist me. The entire reception team is warm, accommodating, and welcoming, much like several of the doctors, particularly Dr. Bramble. While the practice employs multiple skilled physicians, Dr. Bramble stands out as truly extraordinary. I cannot recommend him highly enough - in fact, if the rating system allowed, I would gladly award more than five stars solely based on his remarkable care and expertise.

Negligent doctors failed my wife during crisis
I'm at a loss for words. Back in early 2020, I sought assistance from our medical practice when my wife was experiencing symptoms of stress-related psychosis, a situation I'd rather not elaborate on further. I reached out to our registered GP surgery, desperately seeking help and support. Unfortunately, they utterly failed us. Both the medical practice and local authorities remained passive during an incredibly challenging time for my family. Their inaction is unforgivable. The GP I requested to evaluate my wife's mental health conducted what can only be described as a mockery of a professional assessment. The combined negligence of the GP surgery and local authority was appalling, leaving our family unsupported when we were most vulnerable and actively seeking help. Their collective indifference is disgraceful, and I will never absolve them of their callous disregard. Shame on them all.

Terrible doctor who refused to listen or help
Worst encounter I've ever had with Dr. Gupta, and I'll definitely not return to him. He's an extremely discourteous individual who refused to let me describe my medical condition. He was visibly irritated and conversed in English and another language I couldn't comprehend. If you're seeking genuine medical assistance, PATIENT PAL is the recommended place to go. This doctor absolutely does not merit his professional title.

Rude receptionist ruins healthcare experience today
Today, I visited the clinic to have my covid vaccines added to their system. The receptionist wearing a headscarf was incredibly unprofessional and discourteous. Her communication skills with patients are appalling. When patients approach, she deliberately pretends to be on a phone call. I presented my vaccine documentation and requested registration, but she flatly refused, claiming staff aren't trained for this task. I explained that as a medical professional myself, I know these records can be updated when proof is provided. I strongly recommend management invest in proper staff training, considering vulnerable patients like elderly individuals who might struggle to travel or navigate online systems. Her attitude is completely unacceptable. The clinic needs to either properly train their employees or replace them, as they currently seem content to collect a paycheck while providing zero meaningful assistance. I am thoroughly disgusted by this experience.
