Terrible service and no help for my sick baby

Every attempt to schedule a consultation has been met with repeated rejection. I've made numerous calls, but each time the response is the same dismissive refusal. My infant, who is merely 9 months old, is suffering from a high fever, and I desperately need medical attention. Despite my urgent pleas for an appointment, they consistently tell me no slots are available. It's incredibly frustrating to be turned away repeatedly when my child's health is at stake.

Prescription disaster at this terrible medical practice

The staff's inability to process repeat prescription requests accurately is frustrating. When I needed insulin and insulin needles, they provided the needles but completely overlooked the insulin. Their incompetence is staggering, making this the most poorly managed medical practice in Luton. They create unnecessary additional work for the pharmacist, who, in contrast, is remarkably competent and professional. I can only imagine what Dr. D'Silva and Dr. O'Dong would think about the current state of this surgery's operations.

During my limited interactions with Dr. Charles Essene, I can confidently affirm that he is an exceptional physician. His medical approach is precise and systematic, and he maintains a serene demeanor while swiftly and accurately identifying the correct diagnosis. I felt compelled to acknowledge his skills, as medical professionals are frequently underappreciated, with people often concentrating more on administrative personnel. In my experience, I have also encountered no issues with the administrative staff.

The surgical practice is utterly reprehensible. The front desk staff are unethical, manipulating appointment slots for their personal connections while subjecting patients to excessive wait times. When attempting to communicate, they dismiss concerns hastily, providing minimal information and showing zero genuine interest in listening. I am determined to file formal complaints with both the integrated care board (ICB) and the general medical council, and I strongly urge anyone else who has encountered similar substandard treatment to take identical action.

The medical practice has completely deteriorated since Dr. Odong's retirement. The current staff are incompetent and the wait times are absurdly long. What was once an excellent healthcare facility has now become a frustrating experience. One particular doctor was shockingly unprofessional, spending more time lecturing me about his precious time rather than addressing my medical concerns. I'm seriously contemplating switching practices or even paying for private healthcare just to escape this terrible situation.

Terrible medical service that wastes your time

Absolutely appalling service. Securing an appointment is nearly impossible. You ring first thing in the morning only to be informed you're 5th, 12th, or 20th in the queue; and by the time someone finally responds, all daily slots are gone, with their incredibly convoluted system preventing you from booking ahead, forcing you to repeat this frustrating process the next day. This never happens at other medical centres. Moreover, the NHS website claims online booking is available - a complete fabrication. Their online platform explicitly states they don't offer this service. I've been forced to go private so many times it's ridiculous. The so-called professional care is laughable; during my last visit for a stye, the doctor literally scrolled through Google Images, examining the same infographics I'd already seen while attempting to self-diagnose. Ultimately, I paid privately to have the stye removed, and lo and behold, I had a severe eye infection that would not have resolved itself as the GP initially claimed. Their incompetence is truly shocking.

Terrible medical practice with zero patient support

Undoubtedly among the most subpar medical practices in Luton. The staff shortage is incredibly apparent, and their approach to medical concerns is frustratingly circular. They consistently defer solutions, suggesting callbacks for the next day (when securing an appointment is virtually impossible), recommending 111 services, directing patients to A&E (who then redirect back to the GP), or simply dismissing concerns entirely. It's astonishing that this practice continues to operate. The level of care is appallingly insufficient and utterly unacceptable.

Worst medical experience ever in this miserable clinic

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST GP SURGERY IMAGINABLE! IT DESERVES TO BE COMPLETELY TORN DOWN. Both the front desk staff and the 'doctors' who seem to have been scraped from the bottom of a garbage bin are incredibly incompetent. A random stray dog would provide better medical assistance than these people. I had to make 4 SEPARATE CALLS just to obtain my own blood test results, which they guarded like some top-secret information. Another time, I wasted 2 hours on hold only to be told no appointments were available - I'm questioning why I even bother. Getting an appointment is about as likely as winning the lottery, and if you miraculously do, the 'practitioners' are mind-numbingly stupid. I was explaining my pain, and all the doctor could do was blankly stare at his computer screen with a painful 10-minute silence. His grand medical advice? "Take paracetamol". These medical frauds should be arrested and imprisoned for recklessly endangering patients' health. Because of these useless, self-absorbed individuals, I've completely given up and have been suffering with multiple chronic pains for years - and it's entirely their fault!!

Horrible customer service and wasted time

I attempted to book a telephone appointment this morning from 8:30, only to be told at the end of a lengthy wait that no slots were available. After spending over two hours on the phone, what was the point? Why offer a booking service in the morning if you can't actually schedule appointments the same day? Their service is truly abysmal - even if you have a 9:30 appointment, you're left waiting for an hour. They clearly can't manage their scheduling, and seem completely indifferent to patients suffering and waiting in discomfort.

Incompetent doctors missed serious ligament injury

This surgery deserves even less than a single star, representing the absolute worst medical care in Luton and a complete embarrassment to the community and NHS. Following multiple accidents, I sought medical attention repeatedly, only to be dismissively told by two different doctors that my severely swollen ankle was merely whiplash that would naturally improve. I felt completely disregarded and as though they were eager to get rid of me without genuine concern. After enduring a month of excruciating pain and being bedridden since my accident, I finally went to A&E. The subsequent X-ray revealed that my swollen ankle and extensive purple bruising were actually caused by a torn ligament - completely contradicting the previous doctors' misdiagnosis of whiplash. Their lack of proper medical assessment was both shocking and potentially harmful.
