Terrible medical care with zero compassion for patients

The medical staff here are mostly terrible, with only a rare exception that proves the rule. I caught a severe scabies infection, and shockingly, no one showed any compassion. Most doctors acted like it was my personal fault and refused to provide me with treatment lotion. This condition CANNOT RESOLVE WITHOUT PROPER MEDICATION! I was constantly shuttling between numerous doctors, with one simply telling me to purchase the lotion over the counter! AT A STAGGERING £25 FOR A 150ML BOTTLE, which I need to apply from head to toe, and I'm not a small person. I was dismissed via text message when requesting the lotion and instructed to book a doctor's appointment, but the available times never aligned with my work schedule, which pays for both my bills and this ridiculously expensive treatment! Steer clear of this practice. Some receptionists behave as though you must explain your medical issue to them before being permitted to schedule an appointment. Only one young, kind lady tries to help; the others are ruthless, insisting you complete an online form if you don't immediately disclose your problem - something I'm completely uncomfortable doing. I was essentially forced to reveal personal medical details! I will absolutely never return to this clinic.

Reception staff Cameron repeatedly failed to listen to my concerns. I had an appointment with a nurse for blood tests, and she even called me by the wrong name. 😑 The nurse advised me to schedule a follow-up appointment in 2 weeks to review my results. I relayed this to Cameron, who provided me with a date and time. However, when I checked patient access online that evening, I discovered he had booked me for a doctor's telephone callback instead of a nurse appointment. I subsequently cancelled the appointment. This seems like a waste of the doctor's valuable time and resources, as well as my time, just to be told to make another nurse appointment, similar to the previous situation. It's a frustrating and repetitive cycle. Cameron, please listen and pay attention to the details.

Nightmare medical experience with zero customer support

The surgical center is absolutely dreadful. Their communication is non-existent - getting someone on the phone is practically impossible, with wait times stretching to nearly half an hour. There's no way to actually speak with a live person. Their scheduling is equally frustrating, as they send appointment notifications with just a day's notice and expect patients to immediately rearrange their entire schedule. When I suffered a pelvic fracture, they even went so far as to cancel my ambulance transport, leaving me completely stranded.

Securing an appointment is incredibly challenging. Phone lines are perpetually congested. Administrative personnel consistently require prompting to follow up on tasks. Referral management appears to be problematic, with multiple patients experiencing similar issues. Their appointment booking system is utterly impractical. Daily slots are technically available, but patients must frantically telephone precisely at 8 am to potentially secure a spot. This approach completely disrupts personal scheduling, as appointment times remain unpredictable. Frequently, all slots vanish before patients can connect. The system eliminates patient preferences regarding doctor selection, branch location, and even appointment likelihood. Inconvenient timing offers no flexibility. Despite claims of reserving 30% of appointments for emergencies, this appears entirely fictitious - slots are simply awarded to whoever manages to telephone first, regardless of medical urgency. The waiting area is chaotic, with unsupervised children creating significant disruption. Such an environment seems inappropriate, particularly surrounding patients awaiting medical attention. Collectively, the service is utterly unacceptable. Should alternative options exist, I strongly advise exploring different medical practices.
