Absolute nightmare of a medical practice

If I could award zero stars, I would. This is hands down the most abysmal general practitioner I've encountered in my entire life. The front desk staff are utterly incompetent and appear more interested in idle chatter than performing their duties, loudly gossiping amongst themselves while patients are left waiting. To make matters even more frustrating, the physicians themselves seem completely ignorant of fundamental NHS protocols and guidelines. Their communication skills are deplorable - they even directed me to a hospital ward that is purely fictional, which is beyond absurd. I cannot stress this enough: STEER CLEAR OF THIS MEDICAL PRACTICE AT ALL POSSIBLE COSTS!!

Terrible practice with awful customer service

Absolute nightmare of a general practitioner! STEER CLEAR! I'm dealing with legitimate, long-standing health challenges that significantly impact my daily functioning - conditions my doctor has been aware of and treating for years. When I simply requested a medical confirmation letter to help me seek workplace accommodations, the dismissive receptionist informed me that the practice manager wants ME to draft the letter and then submit it for her potential approval, along with determining a fee. It gets even more outrageous - a week later, I receive a call demanding I bring £50 in cash for this letter. The entire process is incredibly suspicious: the letter isn't even being written by my actual physician, but by an administrative manager, and then I'm expected to pay cash directly to the reception staff? How is such a practice even permissible?!?

Friendly staff can't save this frustrating medical practice

Dr Arif is an excellent physician and the front desk team is friendly, but the clinic's infrastructure is seriously lacking. Getting an appointment is a nightmare - you're stuck on hold forever, and there are no slots open for a fortnight. Once you finally secure a time slot and arrive early, you'll inevitably end up waiting well over half an hour beyond your scheduled time to be seen. Elementary amenities like restrooms and a water cooler are completely absent, which further detracts from the overall patient experience.

Terrible receptionists ruin entire medical practice

The reception staff at this clinic desperately need to be replaced. I'm utterly appalled by their incompetence - I was stuck on hold for an incredible 51 minutes! How is such terrible service even possible??? Dr. Arif is the only competent professional here, while the receptionists are completely unprofessional. I called at 9:50am and didn't get through until 10:41am - absolutely unacceptable. Their behaviour is disgraceful. They appear completely dependent on Dr. Arif and seem lost when he's away. When I requested a prescription, they claimed no other doctor could help, despite having another physician, Dr. Shyly, who is frankly terrible at her job and extremely rude. I'm baffled how she was even hired. They provided an incorrect medication dosage and then became defensive when confronted, refusing to acknowledge their mistake. These staff clearly need comprehensive training - it's no wonder they have such terrible reviews. Anyone considering registering with this GP practice should seriously reconsider their options.

Absolutely dreadful encounter with a so-called "healthcare professional" named MARY. I urgently scheduled an appointment to discuss my sleep deprivation, hoping for support. Instead, the nurse bizarrely compared me to her own daughter and dismissively suggested I shouldn't let my mental health challenges affect my life. She outright refused medication, citing my status as a mother, and repeatedly interrupted me while raising her voice. Her unprofessional advice was to visit the emergency department during weekday hours if my sleep issues persist. When I reached out to the mental health team, they were genuinely appalled by the nurse's complete lack of compassion and refusal to provide assistance. Her conduct was entirely unacceptable - I was already emotionally vulnerable, seeking help while fighting back tears, and she met my distress with degrading and confrontational treatment. I am absolutely committed to filing a formal complaint regarding her shocking unprofessionalism and deeply inappropriate approach to patient care.

I would have given zero stars if that were an option. How can a clinic make patients endure a four-week wait for an appointment, only to have it turn out completely pointless because the medical staff lacks the expertise to handle eye-related issues? I was ultimately referred to the hospital, hoping they can actually address my medical concern. Worst gp practice in the entire united kingdom

Having resided in various regions across the UK, I can confidently state that this is unquestionably the most substandard GP Practice I have ever encountered. They completely lack a triage system to prioritize vulnerable populations like young children and adults, and consistently fail to provide appointments near their opening hours. Their Econsult responses are delayed by several days (contrary to their claimed 1-day turnaround), and they only recommend inappropriate A&E attendances - a recommendation I can professionally challenge given my extensive background in Paediatric and Adult Emergency care. The practice nurse is available merely one day weekly for immunisations, and their receptionist obstinately refuses to book alternative appointments at more accessible practices, creating significant challenges for working parents. The practice nurse (Stella/Sheila) demonstrated remarkable insensitivity during my daughter's immunisation, delivering a deeply traumatic experience. Her clinical technique was shockingly unprofessional - her speculum approach was unlike anything I've witnessed in my extensive Obstetrics and Gynaecology experience, including the bizarre practice of rinsing instruments under a tap. The receptionist's refusal to schedule my child's vaccinations necessitated intervention from a health visitor. The litany of incompetence continues. Despite being a low-intensity patient, booking even fundamental healthcare services like cervical screenings or childhood immunisations has been consistently appalling. Anyone seeking genuine medical engagement should categorically avoid this practice.

Extremely poor front desk service - particularly the overweight Muslim woman wearing a headscarf Completely lacks fundamental customer service skills and demonstrates disrespect towards patients. Engaged in idle chatter while patients are left waiting. Provided incorrect information while distracted by personal conversations about work schedules. When asked to identify herself, she deliberately withheld her name. She should be aware that NHS guidelines guarantee patients the right to know the identity of staff members serving them. Absolutely the most substandard customer service and reception experience imaginable. Strongly recommend comprehensive staff training and a thorough review of NHS service protocols.

Terrible service and long wait times at clinic

This medical practice is completely unsatisfactory. While Dr. Arif seems competent, the administrative procedures are terrible. I scheduled a phone consultation, but was then instructed to come to the clinic, where I ended up waiting an excessive two and a half hours without actually seeing the doctor. There's no consideration for patients, especially children, making the entire experience extremely frustrating. The administrative staff are particularly incompetent and disorganized.
