Unhelpful gp fails to provide proper mental health support
My experience with this general practitioner was incredibly frustrating. During a scheduled telephone consultation, they were 20 minutes behind and when I attempted to discuss my mental health concerns, they simply advised me to go to the Emergency Department, claiming they couldn't assist me. I even tried requesting a referral, but was completely dismissed. The service was shockingly inadequate. It's absurd that they would direct me to A&E, which is already overwhelmed, especially when patients are typically discouraged from using emergency services for non-urgent matters. Their approach was entirely unhelpful and irresponsible.

I'm utterly frustrated with this general practice's approach... I've been persistently trying to schedule an appointment for my daughter every single morning, and they consistently claim they're completely full. This has been going on for an entire month now. My daughter is just four and a half years old, and the last interaction was a phone consultation where the doctor prescribed medication for her without even examining her in person. The prescribed treatment was ineffective. I'm deeply concerned about how local healthcare providers can operate this way - if medical professionals are delivering such substandard care, what options do patients like us have? Worst gp practice ever avoid at all costs
If you're new to the area or considering switching medical practices, steer clear of this one. In all my years of changing GP surgeries, this has to be the absolute worst. While children should be prioritized in any healthcare setting, this practice completely disregards RCPCH guidelines. Even for follow-ups related to chronic conditions, they force patients to battle for appointments starting at 8:30 am, with slim chances of securing a slot. The service is abysmal, the staff are discourteous, and I am currently in the process of filing a formal complaint with NHS England. My sincere hope is that they will be compelled to implement proper management and adhere to essential safeguarding protocols.

The practice manager runs a tight ship - and wow, the facility operates with incredible efficiency and maintains immaculate cleanliness - in stark contrast to my previous GP's office where I felt compelled to take a thorough shower after visiting.
