Terrible service and dismissive doctors avoid this practice

Pressing medication refill requests frequently experience significant setbacks. Waiting room times consistently stretch beyond sixty minutes. Upon finally consulting the physician, my experience involved being interrupted and disregarded when attempting to discuss a health concern. I am deeply uncomfortable with this medical practice. Currently, I'm awaiting a prescription that has been processed but remains undelivered to the pharmacy. I strongly advise against becoming a patient here.

Compassionate care and understanding staff shine bright

I'm puzzled by the critical feedback because my experience has been completely different. The medical professionals and support team here are incredibly supportive and genuinely committed to patient care. It's typical for people to be more vocal about their frustrations than their positive experiences. Those criticizing the staff should try spending a day in their shoes, managing constant phone calls and dealing with the challenges they face every single day.

Exceptional care from the entire team. I was attended to and referred incredibly quickly, within just a few days. All my anxiety completely disappeared. They were also wonderfully compassionate towards my grandfather, who struggles with dementia, and I am immensely grateful for their kindness x

Frustrating medical practice with terrible communication

I've been a patient at this medical practice for around three years, and while things initially seemed fine, I've grown increasingly frustrated with their communication and customer service. The phone system is consistently problematic - staff frequently put calls on hold and disconnect, and navigating their menu options is challenging just to reach a live person. When I submit medical requests, whether for minor health issues or treatments, they promise to call back or have me call the next day, but there's always an excuse. The doctor is perpetually "doing paperwork" or needs more time, forcing me to persistently follow up. In one instance, I waited three days just to get a response about a rash cream prescription. Their scheduling is equally inefficient - requesting something on Monday results in being told to come in Thursday or Friday, which means 4-5 days of waiting and chasing them for information. This pattern is frustratingly consistent across all my interactions. The reception staff are unprofessional and dismissive, often chatting among themselves while patients wait. Aside from Sally, the team seems completely disinterested in patient care. What's most distressing is their complete disregard for my mental health. Despite knowing I struggle with severe anxiety and have experienced suicidal thoughts, they remain callous and insensitive. I've attempted to discuss my concerns with management multiple times, yet their rudeness continues. On several occasions, they've been so belittling during phone calls that I've explicitly shared my mental state, only to be met with further dismissal - they've even hung up on me, leaving me in tears.

Terrible doctor destroyed years of trusted medical care

I had been under Dr Sultan's care since birth for three decades. When Dr Chowdry took over, he proved to be absolutely terrible. During a serious medical consultation, he mockingly dismissed my concerns, insisting nothing was wrong - and this wasn't an isolated incident. From what I've heard, he treats all patients with the same disrespect. He deserves to be professionally disbarred. Additionally, the receptionist was incredibly intrusive, seemingly believing she had medical authority. I've since transferred to Blackfriars medical centre, and it's genuinely the most positive decision I've made!

Terrible reception ruins excellent medical practice

Over the years, my general practitioner has been quite good, but the reception area is a significant drawback. Attempting to call the office can be incredibly frustrating, as they rarely answer the phone. The receptionist is utterly incompetent, and I cannot comprehend why they haven't hired someone more professional and competent for the role. Frankly, the reception service is abysmal. In the latest development, my GP has retired, and they've brought in a locum doctor who is arrogant and seems to enjoy using patients as experimental subjects. She never listens to patient concerns and always jumps to her own conclusions. The service has definitely deteriorated, and I'm now forced to seek out another GP because this situation is absolutely unacceptable. 🙅🙅

Disappointing healthcare at local medical practice

The practice has gone downhill since Dr Sultan's retirement. I've been struggling with the new GP about my medication for days. The reception team is unhelpful, and it's nearly impossible to reach them by phone. The facility looks rundown and unkempt. I cannot endorse this medical center and have consequently transferred to another GP practice.

Rude receptionists ruin potential great medical experience

I recently registered with this medical practice after moving to a new area. Initially, I hadn't researched patient reviews beforehand, but I can now validate others' comments regarding the reception staff. They are genuinely discourteous, lacking basic etiquette, and consistently unresponsive to phone calls. Today, I had to make multiple attempts before finally getting through. The receptionist I eventually spoke with was extremely unprofessional and discourteous. In contrast, the doctor I consulted was pleasant and compassionate. From my perspective, the receptionists are the primary weakness of this practice and urgently require proper customer service training.

Worst medical experience ever terrible service

I've never encountered a medical practice quite like this one. The facility is rundown and decrepit, and the locum doctor, Dr. Chaudry, showed zero interest in my health concerns. He made no attempt to understand the nature or seriousness of my condition and appeared utterly indifferent. There was a complete absence of compassion or concern. I will definitely not be returning to this practice under any circumstances. Anyone reading this should steer clear - it is unequivocally dreadful.
