Quick and efficient medical service today

I contacted the medical practice early today at around 10:20 and was informed I could either hold in the queue or select option 1 for a callback. I chose the callback option, and to my delight, they phoned me back promptly within 5 minutes. I was then scheduled for an appointment at 11:00 am that same morning, which I found incredibly convenient and efficient.

Complete nonsense, I've been calling for four consecutive days at 7:45 AM, hoping to secure an 8 AM slot, only to be left hanging on the line with zero appointment options. They only seem responsive during emergencies, yet ironically, you can't even schedule an appointment when you need one.

Mixed feelings about this medical practice

I concur with the general sentiment that scheduling a consultation via telephone can be challenging, though not entirely unattainable. In my experience, the e-consult service proves to be an excellent alternative, allowing you to precisely describe your medical concern, after which they determine whether a face-to-face appointment with a general practitioner is necessary. This method eliminates the need for prolonged phone conversations or waiting on hold. Another slight frustration I have is the inconsistency in seeing the same doctor; I'm uncertain whether we are assigned a specific GP, and if so, we should be able to consistently consult with them. To be honest, I'm not even sure if I have been allocated a named GP, and if I have, I certainly haven't had the opportunity to meet them.
