Between fabricating excuses about scheduling constraints, dragging out medication management for months, and consistently failing to return my calls despite repeated attempts to follow up, the secretary has demonstrated complete unprofessional behavior. Adding to this, they arbitrarily declined a shared care agreement without any communication. Loxwood medical practice is fundamentally incompetent, and I strongly advise patients to seek healthcare elsewhere. Their service is entirely unacceptable.

Medication mess with Dr Webb's dismissal

After relocating to the area, I switched to Loxwood medical practice, leaving behind my long-time doctors. I had been prescribed a mental health medication that my previous physician and I thoroughly discussed, recognizing its life-changing positive impact over nearly a year of consistent use. When I requested a repeat prescription from Dr Webb, she initially agreed at the appointment's conclusion. However, upon attempting to collect the prescription, I was informed she needed to consult a colleague - an incredibly frustrating turn of events, especially as I was nearly out of medication. Two days later, reception contacted me to relay that Dr Webb was uncomfortable prescribing the medication and had unilaterally referred me to the mental health team without my consultation. I emphasized my long-term medication history and the potential risks of abruptly stopping treatment, but was merely told to "call if it gets worse." I subsequently requested a direct call from Dr Webb. Upon receiving her return call, I was curtly informed that she would not prescribe the medication and suggested I could register elsewhere if dissatisfied. I am utterly dismayed by this profound lack of professional care. Any medical professional understands the dangers of suddenly discontinuing medication. I'm already experiencing negative effects from missing my usual prescription, which my previous doctor confirmed was safe and beneficial. Dr Webb's refusal to prescribe, coupled with her unwillingness to communicate directly, is unacceptable. Changing doctors is already anxiety-inducing, and this experience has only exacerbated my concerns. I've been forced to register with another practice, further delaying my medication and potentially compromising my mental health. The complete disregard for patient welfare is shameful. Breaking commitments made during consultations and avoiding direct patient communication demonstrates a fundamental failure in medical professionalism. Healthcare providers should prioritize patient well-being, not create unnecessary obstacles and emotional distress.

Locum doctor missed my serious diagnosis

What was once a top-notch medical practice has significantly declined in quality. Regrettably, the most skilled physicians have departed, leaving behind a team (with one notable exception) who appear indifferent to the guidance they provide. I experienced a misdiagnosis from a temporary doctor who stubbornly denied her error and offered no acknowledgment of her mistake. Upon raising this concern with the surgery, I received a communication indicating they would investigate the matter with her and subsequently provide a comprehensive response. That correspondence was dated 30th October, and I have received no further information since. The nursing staff, however, remain exemplary.

Worst medical care ever at this clinic

I wouldn't recommend this surgical practice under any circumstances. Their priority seems to be the surgery's interests, not patient care. Trying to communicate with your doctor is about as likely as finding a long-lost historical figure. The front desk and administrative personnel clearly learned customer service from a manual on how to be deliberately unhelpful. Their small pharmacy appears completely overwhelmed. It's reminiscent of a comedy sketch where a supposedly professional establishment can't manage even the most basic tasks due to their own incompetence.

The service is solid overall, but a particular staff member significantly undermines the experience. She seems overwhelmed by her responsibilities and, candidly, appears past her prime professionally. I'm consistently frustrated by her abrupt call terminations after lengthy wait times, and her communication skills seem notably inadequate. When I inquired about phone responsiveness, her excuse of being "on her own" raises serious questions about workplace management. Why would an organization keep someone who clearly struggles to perform effectively? These issues have definitely cost the service two stars in my rating.
