Mixed experience with medical practice and staff

The surgical procedure itself was fine, and scheduling appointments online was smooth However, the front desk staff member displays an unpleasant and dismissive attitude I'm uncertain why she becomes irritated when patients simply seek clarification She seems to carry herself with an air of superiority despite lacking genuine interpersonal skills If someone finds their work so disagreeable that they can't maintain basic courtesy, they should seek employment that minimizes customer interactions

Frustrating wait but helpful surgery response

On 21 January, I tried to schedule an appointment online due to increasingly severe back pain. To my frustration, I discovered online booking was no longer an option. I was directed to the triage system, where I submitted the required details. I received a prompt response indicating a clinician would contact me on 12 February. Given that my lower back pain was becoming increasingly unbearable, I attempted to phone the surgery to explore faster treatment options. After waiting as the first caller in the queue for 19 minutes, I ultimately gave up. I'm skeptical about whether the triage system is functioning effectively and hope someone at the surgery will address these concerns. Previously, I had always found Lydden surgery to be exceptional. UPDATE 22nd January Following my initial review, the surgery reached out to me and arranged a doctor's appointment. I was genuinely appreciative of this gesture and have consequently adjusted my rating.

We've been patients at this medical practice for three years, starting when our first child was born and now with two children. Securing appointments for my kids has never been an issue, especially for my son who has experienced significant respiratory challenges with asthma and viral wheeze. The practice has consistently accommodated our urgent medical needs, providing same-day consultations whenever required. Every staff member, from the general practitioners to the nurses and reception team, demonstrates exceptional warmth and professionalism. Can no longer recommend

Didn't feel there was much professionalism left at this practice, unfortunately. Can no longer recommend any of the GPs there. I don't know why they have let it slip in this way. A real shame as they did well throughout the pandemic, but now there seems to be such a lackadaisical laid back approach to things, which doesn't leave you feeling very confident in them, unfortunately.

Lifesaver doctor amid terrible medical practice

Among the medical practitioners at this clinic, only one GP stands out as exceptional. Dr. Kingston (or something close to that) is truly remarkable, while the others are completely subpar. Phone calls go unanswered, and the dispensary staff are dismissive and uncooperative. The reception area has perhaps one pleasant employee, but the rest are irritable and utterly unhelpful!!! Attempting to resolve infant allergy milk issues is an exercise in extreme frustration!!! Avoid this practice if you require any prompt medical assistance !!!!

Terrible customer service leads to healthcare frustration

Attempted to contact healthcare provider for guidance on whether medical consultation was necessary or if self-treatment was appropriate. Wasted quarter of an hour listening to repeated assurances of being first in line, only to be met with endless ringing and no response, ultimately forcing me to hang up. Is it surprising that patients resort to emergency department walk-ins under such circumstances?

Getting medical attention here is incredibly frustrating. You first have to navigate through the receptionist's screening process just to secure an initial telephone consultation. Depending on how they categorize your situation, you might wait anywhere from 5 days to several weeks for an appointment!
