The service provided fell significantly short of expectations. The reception staff appeared to overstep their role and demonstrated a lack of professionalism and courtesy. The facility appears to have serious operational issues that warrant concern. Appointment availability seems problematic despite the practice not appearing to be at capacity. Overall, the experience was deeply disappointing.

Receptionists were abrupt and unhelpful

While I understand the pandemic has been challenging, I found the reception staff to be rather curt. The overall level of attentiveness at this practice feels lacking. The phone system has limited availability during midday hours, and when you do get through, you're directed to call back later in the afternoon for test results. Waiting times to see a GP can stretch to around a month. I would consider looking for an alternative practice.

Doctor didn't read my medical records

I have been attending this practice for many years and feel the standard of care has declined significantly. I recently completed a consultation with a clinician who appeared unfamiliar with my medical history, despite having access to my records. This experience has prompted me to lodge a formal complaint with the practice management team. It is concerning when healthcare professionals do not seem to review available information before appointments. Additionally, the lengthy waiting times to secure any form of appointment are frustrating and unsatisfactory.

Easier to book appointments now than before

Although there were understandably challenges with obtaining in-person appointments during the pandemic, this situation has improved significantly and I have experienced no difficulties securing appointments in recent weeks. I recently had blood work carried out by a newly qualified healthcare assistant who demonstrated politeness, helpfulness, and a high level of professionalism throughout the procedure.
